174195 I finished They Called Us Enemy by George Takei (co-writer), Justin Eisinger (co-writer), Steven Scott (co-writer) for #27 A History or historical fiction. It's a graphic memoir. I gave it 4 stars, well done. I'm currently reading Pride,Prejudice, and Other Flavors by Sonali Dev. Not sure if I'll finished it by the end of the month. I just started reading it this morning so not sure if I'll like it.

174195 I finished They Called Us Enemy by George Takei (co-writer),Justin Eisinger (co-writer), Steven Scott (co-writer) for this prompt. it was set during WWII, 1941 through the present. I knew about the Japanese-American internment camps but mainly that it happened. I didn't know about all the laws passed during this time against Japanese-American's & Japanese living in America. I didn't know George Takei was sent with his family at the age of four to a camp until the graphic memoir came out in 2019. I gave it 4 stars. I learned a lot & thought it was well done.

174195 I finished In a Field of Blue by Gemma Liviero for #36 A book from your TBR/wish list that you don't recognize, recall putting there,or put there on a whim. This book was perfect for the prompt because I don't remember buying it.
I know I will complete one book maybe 2 before the end of the month so I'm waiting to post in the best books of May thread.
174195 1. What are you reading for this category? In a Field of Blue by Gemma Liviero.
2. How long has the book been on you TBR/wishlist? 1/14/2020
3. Did you have many options. This is the only book I really was surprised to see in my kindle library. I had no idea I bought it. There are 2 other books that have been in my library for years. I remember buying them but now I wonder why.

174195 I like the lesser known literary prize idea also. It could have a listopia link attached & also be worded to say any known lesser award is fine.
I also don’t plan ahead what I’m using for the challenge. I pick a book that interest me & is available through a library resource. Then I see what prompt it fits.

The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde for # 47 A classic book you've always meant to read. 174195 I'm reading What My Mother and I Don't Talk About,Michele Filgate (Editor).

Do you normally read this genre? No I never read anthologies. This is the second time I have read this genre. Both times were for reading challenges.

174195 I finished The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde for # 47 A Classic You’ve always meant to read by Oscar Wilde. This prompt was hard. I never enjoyed classics. I have read all the classics I have wanted to read so picking a new one was a challenge. My original plan was to reread Little Women by Louisa May Alcott. I came close to doing that but I needed to read a play for a different challenge so there you go. Two birds with one stone. I don’t enjoy reading plays either so I got to complete two hard prompts at once.
