I read Tidelands by Philippa Gregory for this prompt. I didn’t enjoy the book. I wanted to like it but wasn’t very interested in the plot. I didn’t like most of the characters.

Oh happy happy joy joy. Christmas movies are on Hallmark channel. Talk about escapes.

I’m reading Tidelands now by Philippa Gregory. I don’t think I’m using it for this prompt. I’m only on page 70 & I feel the same way you do. I was thinking the story line was too predictable but was hoping things would change. I’m disappointed.

So far I have read 4 books in March.
Girl Code: Gaming,Going Viral, & Getting It Done by Andrea Gonzales & Sophie Houser. I didn’t use it for ATY. I did like it.
All Systems Red by Martha Wells. Used for a book related to one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse.
A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles. Used for a book about an event or era in history taken from the Billy Joel song “We Didn’t Start The Fire”.
The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon. Used for a fantasy prompt.
Currently reading Tidelands by Philippa Gregory. I have a few choices for this book. The first book in a series you haven’t read yet. A book between 400-600 pages. A book set in a rural area... A book by an author you’ve only read once before. A book related to witches. Not sure how I will use it yet.

I’m currently reading a fantasy. The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon. It has mages,witches, dragons, the whole ten yards. It is a doorstopper at 804 pages. I’m not using it for the witch prompt but it would work.

I just heard a nice story on the radio. There is a web site for high school students to post themselves singing songs from their canceled plays. Since schools are closed this gives them a platform to perform.

I love this. I will try & contribute daily. My escape today was my face to face book club that meets at a brewery did meet today. I was really looking forward to it & was glad we got to visit. My other daily escape is I have been watching Harry Potter movies on Sci/Fi.

- Brief reason why it was the best. I had a grand total of 6 five star reads in February. That was 6 books that moved me & kept me interested till the last page. I picked Endurance as the best because I was invested in the outcome of the crew. This is a nonfiction story. I don't want to give spoilers if you don't know how this ended. On the
last page I almost sobbed. This read had lows & highs. I enjoyed the book.

I finished All Systems Red. The Murderbot Diaries by Martha Wells. I am using it for Death.

Awesome team. I had fun doing this. I’m going to miss the read-thon.

I am starting All Systems Red (The Murderbot Diaries) by Martha Wells. I need another pair of eyes on this. Where could I use this book? Unless the exact word or phase is written in the text I’m not seeing it.

I finished Normal People by Sally Rooney. I used it for Sphinx Riddles because it only had 3 books.
