I just thought of a prompt. A book featuring a mode of transportation during any war. It could be feet,cart,horse,elephant, car, Jeep, airplane, ship. The sky is the limit.

I read Stay With Me by Ayobami Adebayo for this week I gave it 4 stars. Very powerful story. This was my last prompt.

I finished my first book for August yesterday. South Pole Station by Ashley Shelby. Not for this challenge. I read it for my face to face book club. We are reading adventures since our chances for adventure are limited for now.
I’m currently reading Stay With Me by Ayòbámi Adébayó for week 39 a book by an author whose real name your not quite sure how to pronounce. This is my last prompt. When I finish this book I’m done. I was hoping it was set in a location that hasn’t been added to the group reading map but it’s set in a Nigeria & that seems to be a popular setting.

I have one more book to add to the best books of July list.

Brief reason why it was the best- I thought the author was very brave in giving this unflinching memoir of her parents,especially her father, and her childhood.

I completed 2 more books since my last check in 6 days ago.
Kitchen Confidential: Adventures in the Culinary Underbelly by Anthony Bourdain. I gave it 4 stars. I liked it. I didn’t know a lot about him so I found him interesting. This wasn’t for any challenge.

Silver Lies (Silver Rush #1) by Ann Parker. Not for this challenge. This was a new to me series. I liked it. 3 stars.

Currently Reading: Fun Home: A Family Tragicomic by Alison Bechdel. I will finish this before the end of July.

I finished Kitchen Confidential by Anthony Bourdain. I really liked it. I used it for my favorite hobby question. Cooking. This is it. I’m done. I will update the individual tracking in the morning. I did add my pages to the spreadsheet. This was fun.

Good Morning All, I had a good reading day yesterday. I have 154 pages left in Kitchen Confidential. I don't think I'll finished it but will let you know if by luck I do. Will try hard. Good Luck everyone. I have enjoyed this past week.

Good Morning Snow Cones. I have had 2 great reading days. i have 171 pages left in The Great Influenza by Jphn M. Barry. I should finish today. I'll check in if I do.

Good Morning team. I had another terrible reading day yesterday. I keep hanging in there with the book because I like it but it's nonfiction dry. I think I've got the rhythm of the book now so will give it one more day before putting it down. Also today I have nothing planned but the store.
