152301 If you want to link all the books to the goodreads pages, just use the book/ author feature just above the text box (computer only), it's easy and fast :)

152301 London if you don't search a particular genre, you can have a look at the threads already created in the week3 folder and join one ;)
Or read the different plans, or use the links on the 1st post of this thread.

152301 Hello London :)
What genre do you want to read?

152301 Have fun choosing your books :)

152301 OOoooh I'm so sorry, I have to edit my post and add spoiler html code :p
Jan 09, 2015 12:42PM

152301 Argh, the characters (not all!) are so shallow. I'm thinking about re-writing the story with zombies, it could improve it a lot for me :p (Michelle, so you'll have 2 books to bury in your backyard).
Classic romance is really not a genre I like. I hope everybody is enjoying this one more than me :)

What is your favorite character? Currently (15%), the only one I like is Anna. I hope a nice man is coming soon!

152301 Steven > I read only Ender's Game, Speaker and Xenocide. I really like how deep Card's stories are. I'm adding Ender in Exile in my to-read ;)

Adriana > yes :)

152301 I have to re-read all of them, the last time was before the movies and all I remember about The Hobbit is Gollum :D
Jan 09, 2015 11:40AM

152301 Next book:
After a storm, a girl finds new friends and goes to a strange city to meet a magician.

152301 Ender's Game !
I like this topic, I've the impression I read all the books in Earth :D
Jan 09, 2015 10:30AM

152301 I'm pretty sure I read the summary of this book (or another similar) on Goodreads. No idea about the title sadly.
Jan 09, 2015 10:01AM

152301 Yes, you can. It's less interesting for discussions, but do what's the best for you ;)
Jan 09, 2015 09:22AM

152301 Oh don't worry, I already know some spoilers like "there are many zombies and people die" :p
For Divergent, one of my friends didn't liked them so I'm hesitating to read them.

Dystopia is favorite genre and I read almost all the Pratchett's books. I've to catch up on Gaiman as I only read Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch, Neverwhere and Coraline and liked his stories.

152301 Yey, Neverland forever! Pirates, faeries and flying, what else do you need in life? :p

Black Feathers has a great cover, same for The Book of the Crowman (the sequel). I don't know if the books are good but, well, a dystopia can't be fully uninteresting, I'm not worried :)
Jan 09, 2015 08:42AM

152301 Pratchett, Gaiman, Hunger Games and some dystopian books. All I can say is that you have great tastes :D

We'll read The Road the same week. I'll have a look at your reviews for Feed, World War Z and the Divergent books. All of them are in my to-read list :)
Jan 09, 2015 08:33AM

152301 Great books in your list :)

2 ways to link the cover:
- edit your post and click on the "add book/author" just above the text box. Check "cover" at the bottom and write the title in the search bar.
- open the full cover in another tab of your browser, copy the url, edit your post and, at the right place, write img src="url" width="156" height="237" between <> .

152301 We'll read the same book for the crying week. I didn't see the movie, so it will be a total surprise.

Do you liked The Hobbit? I read it when I was a kid, I liked it a lot (more than the LotR books).
Jan 09, 2015 08:20AM

152301 I agree about the title, so it's your turn :)
Jan 09, 2015 08:11AM

152301 Jenni > the one I'll read is more a photo book (interesting of course ^^). If you want a more complete read, I recommend you Voices from Chernobyl: The Oral History of a Nuclear Disaster, it has short stories, told by different people who lived there during the disaster. I found it a little sad but it was refreshing to read different points of view as they were complementary. Anyway, all the books on the subject are interesting ;)

152301 Jessica > yeah good idea, you can buy each of us a book :D

Never heard about Redwall before. There are other animal books on the "Readers also enjoyed" :)
