152301 I liked the movie and, after, the book :)
I found them different but I don't remember why :p

152301 Haha easy one :p

152301 Haha, it's funny because I think most of the realistic characters (the ones with real feelings) are written by women :D For me, romance is definitively the worst part in most of the books, and I read really poor or shameful ones, (no) thanks to men :p
Luckily there are good chara writers on both genders :)

Why did I choose a classic romance? I'm dying reading it. I've to read a zombie book to wash my eyes!

152301 Thanks TJ :)
It's nice to be there, as reader and moderator.

Luisa > wow, this is awful :(
When I was 10 years old, my teacher had the habit to give books to pupils who worked very well. As I was one of them, I liked to choose on her list. One day I picked up a book for younger kids than me and the teacher told me that I'd to read books for older kids and choose another one. It was disappointing because I never looked at the recommended age and decided what to read only because of the summary.
Now I'm a grown-up, I read lots of children books and enjoy them a lot, so I think this age thing is bullshit :p

152301 I know what book it is :p Good summary!
I'll see if others can find it too ^^

152301 Another Big Little Lies reader :D We'll have a huge discussion for this one on week 28.

How was The Martian? It's on my to-read list, I'm curious about it :)
Jan 08, 2015 10:36AM

152301 Well, already 1363 members Jessica. At 8000, I think you could authorize yourself to be a little insane!

152301 Wow, my spelling is not fully horrible :p Mississippi was a huge hint!

I let someone else add a summary, I want to keep some of mines for later ;)

152301 Cat > no, it wasn't me. Try with your other friends :p

Camilla > it could be nice if you join me on this book ^^ I never read from this author but she seems pretty popular :)

152301 Mary Norton maybe? She wrote The Borrowers which are children books about tiny people. There are some movies from the series and an animated film (Arrietty by studio Ghibli), maybe we saw one of them?
The books are on my to-read list since many months, but there are no ebooks so I didn't buy them for the moment.

152301 Hi, fellow française :D
There are some weeks with short books (like short stories, graphic novel or book from your childhood) so you can fit your 500+ there. Or read two books at the same time if you're comfortable with it.
I'm curious to see what your books will be :)

152301 Same problem here. I'll do the same as Christine for the school week, so I'll discover a new book ;)

152301 Welcome!
It's a good way to catch up with the challenge :)

152301 Read order is the best way to discuss the books with other members here. Skipping a book will be less challenging, but I promise we won't punish you for this :p
If you want to read in another order you can, the important things are to discover new books and to have fun.
Jan 08, 2015 09:18AM

152301 So, it's Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Fin (no clue how to spell it) :p
Jan 08, 2015 04:02AM

152301 Good to know, thanks :)
Jan 08, 2015 03:59AM

152301 Thanks ;)

So a friend recommended you Maze Runner? It seems there is a love/hate relationship with this book when you look at the reviews (mine was more on the hate side). Not the best recommendation ever, because of this, but maybe you'll like it a lot :)
I'll read some Sherlock this year too but you'll never see me near a Twilight book :p
