Feel free to add any clean romances to the shelf that you wish. As long as they are free of descriptive sex and do not fall under the inspirational description (there are LOTS of inspirational romance themed groups on Goodreads), they are welcome on our group shelf. Welcome to the group and thanx for joining! :o)

If you haven't heard from your winner by this time next week, let me know. We can draw a new winner at that time, if you want.
Oh! I'm supposed to acknowledge my win. Woo-hoo! Two Moon Princess sounds like a fascinating read. Thanx for donating it, Carmen! (For the record, I was shocked when my own number came up. I seriously didn't think the random number generator would pick the number 1.)
As for all the praise being sent my way, thank you. I appreciate it. This type of giveaway really seems to take care of itself, however.
I look forward to seeing all of you again for the next giveaway. I'm excited to see what new books we'll have to give away then!
Ria wrote: "So how long before the next give-away??"I'm thinking 650 members but Joyce and I will have to discuss it. :o)
One of Carla Kelly's more recent books, published with Harlequin, has the same cover as another romance they've published. Reusing covers is something you'll run into when using stock photography. I know the lovely blond on Deception's cover will show up somewhere at some point but it's doubtful she'll be on the same background or holding a fan.
I recently designed a cover for an author and I assured her she would not see it on any other book. She was relieved but admitted the thought hadn't even occurred to her. It helps that I used my own photography so it was a guarantee I could make with 100% assurance.

I just realized I'd spelled your name wrong. I'm so sorry! I've changed it above.
First, thank you all, lovely members, for being a part of this group. Special thanks goes out to all those who donated prizes for this giveaway. The winners were selected using Random.org and the message number of each entrant. Duplicate messages were deleted to ensure that each member was only entered once. (Messages that were part of a discussion or important for future purposes were copied and saved prior to deletion.)

Sandra wrote: "And speaking of covers, Jaimey, your new book DECEPTION has a very beautiful and outstanding cover!"Thank you, Sandra! I really lucked out finding a stock photo of a model who looks remarkably like Deception's heroine. :o)
Hi Caffey! I'm so glad you joined! I second Joyce's recommendation that you sign up for our huge romance giveaway (if you haven't already). There are 19 prizes up for grabs. :o)400 Member Book Giveaway
I'll do my own books. Now, these are words that I tend to skim over; the two that make me pause (but not stop) are two that I never use in my own writing.Betrayal: G,D
Deception: G,D
Spellbound: G,D
Heartless: G,D,B
Redemption: G,D
Perhaps including GD (a combo of the first two you listed) since I have heard some members mention that that particular word is a "stop read" for them. Also, you forgot H...and A. Or should they just be rolled up into D?
The time has come! If you want a chance to win one of the fabulous prizes listed below, sign up here and please include your place of residence (country only is fine). Those who donated prizes are also welcome to enter. Random.org will be used to select the winners on September 1st.Thank you for joining Clean Romances! :o)
PLEASE NOTE: The event invite you all received was just to let you know that the entry thread is open. You MUST leave a comment here to be entered.

WOO-HOO!!! 400 MEMBERS!! Thank you for all the great prizes. This thread is closing...now! Let the games begin!! :oD
I'm putting this in general chat because the free eBook is not romance. It is young adult, however, and therefore, clean. The YA anthology Unlocked was released today and the eBook is available for FREE download from www.unlockedproject.com . A paperback edition will be made available within the next week or two for a small fee but the eBook will always be free.
Unlocked is ten tales by nine authors; the only thing that links them together is a "key." Two of my stories are included, Assassin's Keeper (Regency fiction--not romance) and Survival (fantasy fiction).
Back cover blurb:
Treachery in old London, a crop circle mystery, and a cyborg punished for gazing at the night sky open this collection of new stories that will intrigue teens and adults alike.
Fantasy, sci-fi, mystery, and fanciful versions of school life--the motif they share is a key. Which key will unlock a mystery, free the trapped, comfort the rejected, or bring new resolve to a boy who has taken a wrong path? What treasures can we discover if we only find the right key?
Title list:
Assassin's Keeper by Jaimey Grant
Crop Circles by Wendy Swore
Symbiote by Rita J. Webb
Where They Belong by Paige Ray
Survival by Jaimey Grant
Unlocking William by Jeanne Voelker
Shoshanna by K.G. Borland
The Key to a Good Education by Gwendolyn McIntyre
The Bookseller by Katrina Monroe
Her Father's Eyes by S.M. Carrière
Thanx for looking and I hope you enjoy the stories!
Joyce wrote: "Jaimey,Did you add this one to the list? Or are my eyes just skipping over it. (Always a likely possibility.)
Linore wrote: "I'll donate a trade paperback of my first book,
BEFORE THE SEASON END..."
Nope. I must have missed that one. Funny, you'd think with the CAPS I'd have noticed it first. :o/
Although, now that I look at it...Is that Before the Season Ends by Linore Rose Burkard?
OK, after some thought, we have decided to extend the donation deadline until we reach 400 members. So, until that moment, we will continue to take donations for the giveaway. When we have 400 members, this thread will be closed and the entry thread will be opened. I have altered the "rule" post above to reflect this new decision. Thank you! :o)
