I enrolled my Regency romance, Redemption, in the Smashwords site-wide promotion,
Read an Ebook Week
. It's available for free download from now until March 12. :o)Redemption at Smashwords
You can't actually give away PDFs, unless you are the author or publisher of the book in question, or you have permission from the author or publisher to do so. It's considered eBook piracy to share it otherwise. Also, I think the deadline for donations is over since Joyce has posted the entry thread, but I could be wrong about that. I'll let Joyce field that one.
Hi Farida. I'm so sorry that this is happening to you. I saw the donation link on facebook and donated, as well as sharing the link with my friends. I wish I could have done more. I'll do more again when I can and in the meantime, I'll try to spread the word. Best wishes for kicking the cancer's butt. {{{hugs}}}

So can I get in this drawing? Or does donating and being a mod disqualify me? lol USAThanx for your hard work on this, Joyce. I'll take on the next one. ;o)
Just a quick reminder: Today and tomorrow are your last chances to vote in my cover contest. I will announce a book winner on Sunday. The winner will receive their prize after Honor is published.Thank you all for the current votes and suggestions! Have a lovely weekend! :o)
I'll donate an eBook copy of Betrayal and an eBook copy of Deception, two different winners, international. :o)
...please take the time to make sure you've selected the appropriate folder for your topic. It only takes a moment to do so. If you don't think there's a folder to match your topic, please let us know and we'll look into adding more folders. With so many members and topics, it's important to maintain organization.Thank you so much for your understanding and for making this such a great group! :o)
The rules for posting giveaways are simple. Make sure the book(s) being given away would fall into the "clean" romance category. If you are unsure, please contact either Joyce or me to discuss the matter. And just a reminder: This applies to the romance aspect of the book. We cannot police the language as well. However, if there is language or violence in the clean romance being offered, a warning, while not required, would be appreciated.
Thank you for your cooperation.
The winner this time is Corinna (second comment on the blog post). Please contact me at jaimeygrant{at}yahoo{dot}com to confirm your win and I'll reply with a code to download your free copy of Deception from smashwords.com. Thank you and have a lovely day!
Oh, Jaimie, your vote reminded me! I meant to add to this thread that votes here will also count. Readers, if you're most comfortable posting your vote here, please do so.
:o)
Thank you, ladies! I appreciate your help with this. :o)Tammy, I haven't been on Goodreads as much lately. I've been concentrating on Honor, both editing and cover design, as well as editing an anthology and several other cover designs. Busy, busy.
I tend to keep my facebook page updated, if anyone wants to know what's happening in my writing world.

Hi Emily! So glad to have you. Make yourself at home and, as Joyce said, be sure to add your favorite clean romances to our bookshelf. :o)
Visit my blog to vote on the cover for my upcoming Regency romance, Honor. Voting ends Feb 19. At that time, I'll select one random voter, who will receive a copy of Honor once it's released. :o) http://jaimeygrant.blogspot.com/2011/...
I'm having a small contest on my blog, just a little book trivia (about my books) with an eBook as the prize for one commenter. You don't have to have read any of them to figure it out, but knowing the titles of my books will help, since the answer is one of them. :o) Please check it out: http://jaimeygrant.blogspot.com/2011/...
Have a lovely day!
Your favorite childhood book? A toss-up between The Aristocats and Where the Wild Things Are
Do you ever read more than one book at a time?
Um...yeah. I've never been able to read just one book at a time.
Your favorite place to read?
Curled up in my hubby's recliner.
Do you ever read in public?
Of course.
Your book lending policy?
As long as I get it back, I'll lend a book to almost anyone. My valuable out-of-print titles, not so much.
Do you ever write in your books?
Depends on the book. Research books, heck yeah. Others, why would I?
Your favorite reading snack?
Um...tea...? lol
What's most money you've ever spent on a book?
I paid $225 for a box of Patricia Veryan books once. I think there were 24 or 25 books in it. Some of them were only worth a few dollars but a few were ones I would have had to pay upwards of $30 each. After selling off the ones I already had, it came out better than it sounds. Other than that, I've spent upwards of $20 for research books.
Your favorite three genres?
Historical romance, fantasy, mystery/thriller.
Your three favorite books?
Tough one...probably Holt's On the Night of the Seventh Moon, Veryan's The Mandarin of Mayfair, and a toss-up between Chase's Lord of Scoundrels, Chesney's The French Affair and Stuart's Lord of Danger. On second thought, those are all tied with a billion other books.
Fictional character you're secretly in love with?
Lord Derringer from my own books. Although, that's not much of a secret.
If you somehow could make one book required reading for everyone, what would it be?
I wouldn't want to make any book required reading. I have too many control issues as it is.
Hi Jennifer! Welcome to the group. Be sure to add your book to our group bookshelf, if you haven't done so already. :o)
