Rachel Rossano visited my blog to discuss the attributes of a strong heroine. What do you think makes a strong heroine? Please stop by and let us know!Romance, Old School: The Makings of a Strong Heroine
I recommend Diane Farr's Regencies. She originally wrote for Signet. The ones of hers I've read are very amusing, totally clean, and they've all been released as eBooks now. :O)
Rachel Rossano is on my blog today discussing the attributes of a hero. What do you think makes a great hero? Please stop by and let us know!Romance, Old School: Heroic Attributes
I've found the majority of Signet Regencies to be clean (and I've read a LOT of them) but there are always exceptions.
Click on over to Clean Romance Reviews to get in on all the fun. Three (3) winners will receive copies of Heartless and My Lady Coward in the eBook format of their choice (PRC [kindle], EPUB [nook, kobo], or PDF). Contest ends 2/20 so get those entries in! ♥
I added a new folder for people to advertise that they have services for authors. (I've moved this topic into that folder.) I also created pinned discussion threads. I encourage you to add your info to the editor and/or the proofreader threads. :O)
I guess I'll start this off. :O) I create book covers as Laura Miller (my real name). My gallery contains over three dozen covers at this time.
My pricing is as follows (USD):
Custom eBook covers ~ $120
Custom print covers ~ $160
Premade eBook covers ~ $30 and up (can be made into print covers for an additional fee)
My website is www.anauthorsart.com (or you can click one of the specific links above). There is an easy to use form on the site for contacting me, or you can email me at anauthorsart@yahoo.com. ♥
(Edited 1/28/2014 to update pricing.)

If you offer editing services, please add your info here. Be sure to include your name, web address/email, and pricing. If you'd like to add a bit about your services, please do.
If you offer specific services of interest to authors, please put your information in the appropriate discussion thread for the service you offer. You may start your own thread, if you want—thus allowing for questions and answers particular to you, but I recommend you add your info to the appropriate consolidated thread as well. The consolidated threads will be marked important and always show at the top in the discussion folder so authors looking for a specific service can simply scan through one list instead of hunting through several different posts.
If you have any questions regarding how to post, please ask HERE, in this thread. Please DO NOT post your service or links to your service in this particular thread. Thank you. ♥
Hi Annalea!I went through the folders and I think your best bet (at this point) would be the "Looking For..." folder. We don't really have a folder for those who'd like to connect with authors because they have a service to offer. It might be a good idea for us to add one, actually. Then the members who design covers, edit/proofread, or offer marketing advice can post links to their sites or talk about the services they offer. Definitely something to consider.
I'll have a chat with Joyce (Queen moderator), if she doesn't chime in here, and see what she thinks about adding a new folder.
If there are other members out there who would like to chime in on this topic, please do. :O)
Oh, I may be contacting you, Annalea. I'm always on the lookout for another set of eyes. ;O)
Katharine wrote: "Hi Everyone! My name is Katharine Grubb and I'm an indie author and fan of quirky, clean romance. I haven't had the best luck with groups, but your emphasis on CLEAN certainly appeals to me. Hope..."
I feel your pain, Katharine, I really do. It's hard to find the happy balance in some groups and some groups are just plain anti-author (a bit counterproductive, if you ask me).
Welcome to the group and be sure to add your books to the group bookshelf. :O)
This thread turned mostly into an intro/chat thread so I changed the name and started a new thread for anyone who has questions about how to post in the discussion folders. Feel free to continue to chat here. :O)
The previous thread became mostly an introduction thread so I changed the name of it and I'm starting this new thread pertaining to the rules for posting discussions in this group. :O)BEFORE YOU POST please take the time to make sure you've selected the appropriate folder for your topic. It only takes a moment to do so. If you don't think there's a folder to match your topic, please let us know here in this thread and we'll look into adding more folders. If you're not sure which folder to put your topic under, ask here and we'll try to help. With so many members and topics, it's important to try to maintain organization. Please don't start other topics of conversation in this thread.
Thank you so much for your understanding and for making this such a great group! :O)
