10067 How much are you willing to pay for an eBook?

As a reader, what price makes you refuse to even consider purchasing an eBook?

Do you believe they should be free? If so, why?

First, you are NOT being a pest. Second, yes, you are free to add your own clean romances to the group shelf. :O)

10067 There's another Regency with older characters (30s/40s) by Monique Ellis but I can't remember for sure which one it is. It might be The Lady and the Spy. I've read most of her books and liked them all but I read them about 10 years ago so I don't remember most of the details anymore. :O/
10067 Time's running out! Make sure you're subscribed BEFORE July 15 if you want the whole story. www.indtale.com Subscriptions are still FREE.

I hope you check it out. Thank you! ♥

10067 Oh, subscriptions are FREE for a limited time. I don't think I mentioned that before. :O)

10067 If you haven't heard of InD'tale Magazine, you are missing out. Our very own TJ MacKay is the editor-in-chief. (I'm not much of a magazine person and I think it's fabulous!) Filled with interviews, articles, Jimmy Thomas and book reviews, there's something for everyone.

My announcement here is twofold: I do think it's a great magazine but I have another reason for sharing this here. My new serial romance, The 11th Commandment, will be published in InD'tale Magazine, starting with the July/August issue set to come out July 15. (Subscribe NOW if you don't want to miss a single installment! Click the InD'tale Magazine cover to go to the site.)

Mini-blurb:
Lady Katherine never learned the fine art of hiding one's indiscretions. Thus her one mistake became Society's biggest scandal. Can she overcome the shame and learn to love again?

10067 If you like Regencies, The Bedeviled Duke by Judith Lansdowne is a clean romance with older main characters. She's in her 30s (if I remember correctly) and he's over 40. It was quite funny too. :O)

Sorry for intruding on your thread/post. (Another member pointed it out to me.)_ Am new to this and don't know the protocol. Thank you for the helpful tip.

It's no problem, I just think you'll get more views/interest if you have your own thread. :O)

Patricia, if you're looking for reviewers for your books, I recommend you start your own thread in the "Looking For..." folder, as long as they're clean romance, of course. Just indicate in the subject line that you need reviewers. You should get a lot more response doing that than requesting it on this particular discussion thread. :O)

10067 I have a new short story of a romantic nature, recently published in the Whispered Beginnings anthology. There are a host of other stories in this book, by a host of other authors. (I haven't read them all but one of the rules of submission was keeping it clean.)

My Regency short is called Eliza's Epiphany (yes, I took liberties using the word epiphany for this one).

This anthology is associated with Clever Fiction, the short story prompt website.

The paperback is available at Amazon; eBook can be found on Amazon and Smashwords. I hope you'll take a moment to check it out.

10067 Thank you, Joyce. :O) I feel just as honored to share moderating duties with you, and to be able to call you friend. ♥♥♥

(I'm also blushing. You're such a sweetie!)

10067 There's also a folder called "Author Promotions & Excerpts" as well as "Book Chats". Either of these would be good places to talk specifically about your books and what they're about. And yes, it's fine to mention your books when introducing yourself in the "Welcome" folder, whether you're adding your intro on a thread someone else started or starting your own.

Welcome to the group!

You list it on Smashwords for free and once it goes live, you report to Amazon that you saw it's free elsewhere. They price match.

10067 Some readers just can't be pleased and even if they got the story free, they'll attack the fact that it normally isn't. Unfortunately, though the Amazon page does indicate the length, most people don't notice it. They see "FREE" and aren't looking at much of anything else on the book's page.

I typically don't bother with the eBook retailers when I have a short story less than 2000 words (I even hesitated over one that's just under 5000 and all because of this issue). Stories less than 2000 words either get posted on my website or the Clever Fiction website.

10067 Your second set of links doesn't work but your first set does. (Copying the previous post will only copy what actually shows on the screen.) These shorter links shouldn't get partially hidden:

US: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00815FL5A/
UK: http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00815FL5A/

I grabbed a copy. Thank you for the offer. :O)

10067 It must be good. There are now two topics about this book in the Recommendations folder. lol
