Lol, I thought this same thing.

Don't let that Bene Gesserit witch near the Grand Palace!
THE SPICE MUST FLOW!

I mean, we already have a candidate with comedic value if you know what I'm saying.

I would rather have Eddard, but I know he would not take kindly to it. He's kind of a Dumbledore in that regard, he believes that he would be too easily corrupted by power in in addition to not wanting that kind of responsibility as everything is falling to shit.

So, no, I don't want Hermione as my president. I want Hermione to exclusively be my mother. (Am I being selfish, I think I am)

I think most of us have agreed that the-play-which-shall-not-be-named is an abomination of nature. I don't care if it's canon, I will use the time-turner more appropriately to make sure it never becomes a thing.

Good response :)

... I'm not sure how to respond to this.

No way. I refuse to let the president have better hair than I do.

Agreed. This list needs more American citizens. Perhaps Archie Goodwin and Nero Wolfe. But Hermione would be my pick if I had to choose a non-American.

From this choice, I'd choose Gandalf :-)"
YES!!!! Cthulhu all the way. with Krampus as his running mate. Or Loki. Whichever.

So he'll gild everything. Will there be a teacher's gild? does this mean college costs will go up or down?
Not a bad idea, altogether. But I'm not sure if i like Sam as his running mate. Maybe Carrot, or Rincewind. Hell, even Cohen.

There are even fewer well written American book characters than there are well behaved American politicians... Before we'd end up with just another John Gault I'd enthusiastically take any fantasy character without any statehood to their name.
Other than the legal minimum (age and natural born citizen) there seem to be no true qualifications necessary (anymore).

My thoughts exactly! How did Jack not make the list?

Forget fantasy football. Great cabinet.

Go SPEW!
Probably Gandalf. It depends on their position. I'll vote whoever is a republican.
