2015 - See Your Year in Books!
With just over two weeks to go until the end of 2015, it’s time to ask: How was your year in books? Did you read more than last year? What was the longest book you read?
Because so many of you love seeing Your Year in Books, we had a great time creating a fun, new design this year. Don’t keep it to yourself! Share it with your friends and spark a conversation about the books you’ve read.
"But it’s not the end of the year yet!" we hear some of you say. Never fear! Your Year in Books will keep updating until the very last moment of 2015. If you have plans to squeeze in some holiday reading and don’t want to peek until then, Your Year in Books will be waiting patiently. Was it a good year of reading for you? What was the book you loved in 2015 that you wish more people would discover?<

"Probably" is uncertainty, and if you take it in the dictionary sense, you imply there's a percentage of people who are good at nothing else. "Probably" means "I hope we cater to at least some socially well-adjusted readers."
"Other things" is vague and together with "probably", it robs the ending of its strength. Take a look at your statistics. If the reader has more than three unrelated genres automatically substitute it with a compliment for diversity and open-mindedness, if otherwise, for dedication and focus. If the number of books is >30 compliment quest for knowledge, if <=30, see above.
You want to end with a powerful impression, not "and our focus groups suggested we needed an "and". "
"and we will return to the old layout today!" works too.

For whatever reason, I don't have the same pages count in this page and in the stats in My Books (number of books is good).

That would be great, thank you for the awesome feature!

Ruzza - it looks like you don't have date read set for many books, that might be why

Thanks for the reply. I never use that. I usually mark a book as read when I finish it, but I realise now how the 2 would be different. I sometimes mark books that I read before I signed up on GR as read when I browse listopias.
I didn't realise this is based on that :)

That might be it, though depending on the language(s), translated books can be a lot longer or shorter, too, if that's how you are counting them.

When I kept clicking on the horrible button, I got a red error message repeatedly.
No thanks. I don't need more giant Playskool images anyway. This is a page designed for millennials.
I hope that it will not appear in my feed that I LIKED this feature. Because I never liked it.

No audio shelved on my side. I'd 2-3 books in other editions than english, so the (light) difference in pages count probably comes from there. Thanks for the reply :)

Rachmi - you can still see that, it hasn't gone away! Go to your My Books page and click on the "Stats" link in the top right hand corner. Click on "Details" next to the year you want to look at, and it will open up to show the books you read, grouped by the star rating you gave them. Enjoy!

Is this something that happens just at the end of the year because I would love to see it like this the whole year round!!! : D
Thanks!!! : D

I thought it was gone! I've been searching for this stat since last month, lol. Thanks so much, and now I can say that I love this new tool :)

That would be great, thank you for the awesome feature!"
Choosing which covers appear bigger or being able to feature your favorite series is not possible, but thank you for your feedback about this! I've passed it along to the design team.
In regard to sorting-- the books are ordered according to the date read. As you scroll down the page you'll essentially be scrolling from January through to December!

That's great. I have listened to 119 audiobooks so far this year (nearly half of my total number of books), so my page count would be way off if you didn't do that. You did, however, miss at least one book. It's showing The Sign of the Beaver as my shortest book, with a total of three pages. Of course, that three is there because the audiobook is a little longer than three hours. It does make me wonder how many of my audiobooks are still using the audiobook "page" count, though. Probably not a lot were missed though, since the average length of my books was given as 285.

Thanks so much for this! I listen to a lot of audiobooks so it's nice to know they are also being counted in the pages. :)
Oh and the graph is so pretty! Great job here!
