I suggest Tom jones by fielding. I'm reading it now and really enjoying it AND it's more than 700 pages!

This year I'm aiming for 35 :D

If I only read one book from start to finish in 2015, I will be ecstatic. If I happen to finish one of many books that I have started, I will be pleased with that too.
I love reading but somewhere it became a luxury I don't afford myself. I know I am missing so much.

No specific genres unless you want to set one for yourself - it's just a case of reaching a target goal to encourage more reading

There isn't much non-fiction in that scramble though, so maybe for 2015 I'll try for at least one non-fiction a month, and attempt to limit to about one book per week, so I can actually accomplish other things!

Yes, I would prefer to count pages more than books... I had some 800er last year...

I'm hoping that feature is available for bloggers, too.

I didn't mention that my favorite genre till recently has been the cozy mystery genre. I would have focused on cozies had the rate of disappointing books not needled me. I've wondered whether other genres hold more rewards, hence me enlisting as a fantasy reader. I have no intent to continue wander in the desert in search for all genres. I'm going to avoid horror novels, and many authors too (John LeCarre, Stephen King, Nicholas Sparks spring to mind). I will scurry back to my favorite thriller and historical fiction authors if my little experiment proves to be redundant, futile, fruitless, if not in vain.

In 2014, I aimed to read more books... but then I read The Count Of Monte Cristo and wiped out my average.

Wow!! I'm seriously impressed! I can't even imagine reading 300 books in a year. My brain would explode! Isn't it hard to absorb what you're reading? I like to leave a day between finishing one and starting another to, for one thing, keep all of the stories separate and to appreciate what I just read. I admit, I'm a little weird and sometimes it takes me a while to finish thinking about something. I'm setting my goal at 30 and hopefully I'll exceed it!Have a happy new year!

All I can say is WOW!!! What kinds of books do you read?

Good luck to all.

I only joined yesterday but if comics and picture books count I don't know why audiobooks wouldn't. That's how I do most of my reading now.

Can you sum up what challenge is in English?
