same here! I'd love to absorb more of my books by reading slower instead of racing to finish this challenge. so i'm reducing my books by 10 this year!

This year, scaling up my target to 40 books :D

Anyway, I set myself to read 30 books this year, and apparentl it's an easy target. How do ou guys do to read 60+ books a year?

You're welcome

That was my reaction, too. It's really beautiful!
My goal is to steadily read a little every single day and not fall into a reading slump again. Not stressing too much about numbers, though!

I started off with 80 books, which would be a record to me, since I read 54 books last year (I only started taking it seriously in May).
If I still see it's too much for me because of my routine I will probably update it and read fewer books.
Can't wait :D

on my page, the 2015 is at the top and then they go from oldest (2011 for me) forward.

I also adore the purple!
Good luck!

Same for me, it shows all previous completed challenges.

This year though, I'm hoping to read at least a hundred book or even more. There are more and more authors coming out these days and it's always fun reading new stuff!

I'm leaning towards a goal of 45 books. I want to keep it manageable so I can hopefully exceed my goal again this year.
I have 4 shelves of books TBR. So, fingers crossed that I can make more of a dent this year.
Good luck, everyone!

And 2014 was a great year of reading for me, I probably read between 20-25 books, which isn't a lot, but a lot less re-reads than the previous year, and I also read 4 books which were amazing and made it into my top 5, hope to find more favourites this year!
I also want to read some more series', since I haven't read any since A Song of Ice and Fire series earlier in the year, which kind of burnt out all my energy, but hope to find some more good ones this year! First on the list is the Body Finder series.

Me too! Started 2014 strong, then fell into a reading slump. My goal is to read each day and to diversify the type of books that I read.

I am aiming to read 35 books this year, although I am hoping to exceed this amount.
If anyone has any suggestions for a good series of books, please let me know. I want to try my hand at Historical Fiction this year, as well as Fantasy. Any recommendations are welcome!

If you like historical fiction, try Anne Perry's WWI series about the Rutledge brothers. 5 books in the series: first is the year before the war and then each year of the war. Dense, not light, reading. Best to read in order because there is story line that continues throughout the series.

That´s what I ment (message 8), since the 2015 is at the top it should be followed by the 2014, 2013 etc. and not the 2012 (oldest for me). :)
The purple logo is great!

So this year I'm gong to try something different. Then my large number of books. I'm going to conserve my number to a very beautiful and humbling 40 books. And if I get to read more I will up it as I go along.
I'm just excited it's a new year and I get tag along with a trail of new books!!! :)

This year I plan to try to read genres which don't really interest me. I want to broaden my reading horizons.

The Russian classics are wonderful. They are some of my all time favorites!!! Hope you enjoy them!

This year I've set my target at 110. With work, seeing friends and family and also writing for my blog and other websites, it's a realistic target and im quite a fast reader anyways!

Enjoy the year!
