I'm back….and oye, I'm tired
Back from our mini-vacation/signing trip. I did drive-by signings at like ten stores throughout Ohio, and then had the booksigning in Port Clinton.
The kids spent several days at King's Island and Cedar Point, riding rides. Hmmmm…. why don't I feel rested?
I did get some serious reading done, though…
Read:
Love Song by SL Carpenter
The Cat and Bones books by Jeanine Frost
Omega Games by SL Viehl
Call Me Barbarian by Liddy Midnight
And another book I can't talk about yet, not until I'm told it's okay t

Too funny
A little over a week ago, the Smart Bitches had a contest up on their blog-inspired by a cover from a little known author that had Dan Brown's name written in HUGE type on the cover.
I wanted somebody to mine…ended up getting FOUR somebodies.
Funny…wanna see?

Live in the UK?
Waterstones has teamed up with some publishers and is selling some ebooks thru their site, available to those in the UK. THROUGH THE VEIL (excerpt) is one of them…
If these titles sell well, it's more likely that publishers will start offering more titles on a regular basis.
THROUGH THE VEIL @ waterstones.

Looking for a read?
Some miscellaneous stuff…. Julie James has an interview up on her blog, as well a giveaway for a copy of FRAGILE.
A friend of mine has a new book out at Samhain this week…
She's a rock star, he's not. That doesn't stop them from making beautiful music…

Love Song by SL Carpenter
The lights, the crowds, the shows—the success that comes with topping the rock charts seems bright and glittering. For Ami, lead singer of the mega-hot band Haunted, it's anything but. She's tired of being "on" every waking

Great article on faith and writing
I've been in the church most of my life-I was born and raised there, and with the exception of a few years, I've gone to church regularly all of my life-and it's not just because it's habit. I wouldn't describe myself as 'religious', just because 'religious' is very often something that doesn't describe faith all that well on a personal level. Readers, reviewers I got to meet…
I briefly got to meet Jane Little of Dear Author.
Briefly spoke with Sarah of Smart Bitches, AND got my book signed.
Met Katiebabs who bought me a drink…and she OWED me that drink, because she scarred me for life on twitter.
Met Janine who reviews at Dear Author-a complete sweetheart!
Also got to meet two ladies I've known online for a while, but haven't had a chance to meet… Azteclady who blogs over at Karen Scott's blog, and Rosie.
Spoke briefly with Michelle Buonfiglio-she recently blogged about t
