Ooooohhh….ahhhhh… the repeat
Idea swiped from PBW's blog, Rejuvey 10. One suggestion was to revisit your blog post from the previous year. I'm cheating. I already had a post for the 18th & 19th, but loved the pics from August 18 2008's post.
Wanna see some more pics from AK? Finally got most of them uploaded, and man, that was a chore.

Title Troubles
Okay, I'm having title troubles. I'm done with the next Veil book, and I need a title for the book. Desperately. The only thing I know I want is the word 'veil' in the title. The book has a similar feel to the first one, THROUGH THE VEIL, a little dark, kind of edgy, with some action, a paranormal feel. The Veil series is set in an alternate world, one that's separated from ours by a 'veil'.
It's a romance-the heroine from the book is Laisyn, one of the witches who served with Kalen in the w

Wanna win Relentless by Lauren Dane?
In July, I spent quite a bit of time hanging out with Lauren Dane and pretending I had some clue what was going on at Nationals. She probably saw through the ruse, but she was too nice to say anything. She was also nice enough to sign a copy of Relentless for me…well, two copies. One for me, and one to give away. So lets give it away…

Question for those who read my Hunter books…
Is there a character you really want to have a story, but I haven't written it yet? If so… who?

Hide Cnet. Flaunt your romance.
Somebody over @ Cnet is willing help out us poor, mediocre folks who are so embarrassed of our romance reading. Alas, I can't load the video onto wordpress, but if you want to watch it, here ya go. She'll tell you ALL about how to hide your romances in case anybody wants to take a peek at your Kindle.
(To that I say…Bite me, please.)
I really love the end, how she tells us, read whatever you want, I won't judge you. Sweetie, by assuming people need to 'hide' their books because they are 'embar

Talking Stardoc

Crystal Healer
A lot of people know I'm a total Stardoc junky. I proudly consider myself one of SL Viehl's (aka PBW aka Lynn Viehl) first stalker fans. Yeah, yeah, it might not be true, but I emailed her within a few weeks of Stardoc coming out. I don't email authors. Or rather, back before I was pubbed, I didn't really email authors. Just didn't. At that point, I think I'd only emailed one other author-Nora Roberts.
I emailed, gushed, praised, etc. etc. And I've been loitering around wher

Reissues…
I feel 'official'. Two of my EC/Pocket novellas have been repackaged and reissued…aka shuffled around and put with a couple of different stories. The books came out recently, one on 8/11, the other in July.

Google Book Settlement
Some articles worth reading. However, if you're going to opt out, time's running out.
Reject the Google Book Settlement
I've already opted out. Frankly, the way Google has handled this disgusts me. The way the Author's Guild stepped in to speak on behalf of authors, without my permission BTW, leaves me with a very bad taste in my mouth.
The whole damn thing should have been on an OPT-IN platform, and hell, for that matter, it never should have happened, because google shouldn't ha

If you haven't read these books…
You need to.
I just started them after I got back from Nationals. I've read them all. And I want more.
