The Entry Room was on my list for yesterday, and I got most of it cleaned. I also did a lot of dishes in the kitchen. I'm debating what to do this morning; I have tomatoes that need to be mulched and more to plant, but my right eye was a bit puffy this morning (I'm obviously allergic to something I've been pulling up, since I also have a rash all over my right hand and arm) so I took a Benedryl and hopefully that will help.

I will probably spend the morning mulching, and wait a day or so to cl...

Last payment just cleared for the credit card paid off in May.

The settlement has also gone through.

I have one credit card and one line of credit left, plus a personal loan.

This is approximately $7400.

I started with a little less than $30,000 in car/credit card/loan debt in 2010*.

There is light at the end of the tunnel!

*I should add--this time. I've been trying and failing to pay off my credit cards for years and years and years now. This is the closest I've ever gotten. I'm not counting befor...

I couldn't do it. I walked outside for something, and I had to go work out in the garden this morning. I told myself I'd only do it for an hour, but three hours later, I have a goodly portion of the garden cleared (and really, only one patch left to clear, along with the buffer zone, which I will mow) and I've planted nine more tomato plants, leaving me with sixteen to plant.

Since that's only four sets of four, I should be able to do that this evening.

I also sowed some more greens (nasturtium...

I'm feeling a bit snotty and sinusy this morning, so I'll be drinking some Cold Tea here in a bit to combat that. I didn't quite get as much done yesterday as I had hoped, but I made a good dent in repotting of plants, so that's progress, nonetheless. And I've already been up for an hour this morning, too.

I have to get something done in the house while I'm off, so I'll be working inside this morning and out in the garden this afternoon/evening. I hope to be able to swap that tomorrow, and wor...

All of my plants except for one pot of aloe and the cactii are now outside. All of them! Which wasn't many, really, but there were a couple of heavy pots. I'm going to have to get some Safer Soap for one of my jade plants, however, because it has scale.

The bay window, which is usually difficult to look out of, is so empty right now. I kind of like it, though. And it sure will make everything easy to clean/reorganize!

Yesterday, I planted eighteen tomatoes and six squash in my garden--this might not sound like much to some people, but it's about half of the tomatoes I have on hand. The rest of the squash will be forthcoming; the plants aren't quite ready yet.

Today, I need to clear more space for more tomatoes, plant those and some potatoes too, repot my malabar spinach, figure out where I'm going to put the beans, do laundry because I'm running out of clothes I can wear in the garden (and after close to fi...

So my intention for the weaving room was originally to make it the sewing room because it has two closets. But instead, it's the weaving room (at least for now), and I've kept it pretty cleaned up since I set everything up last year.

Today, however, I decided that I wanted to use the space freed up by selling the other big loom to actually have a dedicated spot to use my sewing machine. So I rearranged a bit, brought the table out from beside the chest of drawers that holds some of my yarn, an...

So I'm off work until June 3rd, which is my first day back. I haven't made my list of things to do quite yet, but I'm going to work on that this morning, because it's 48F outside and I am soooo not complaining. Cooler weather means I'll get more done around the house. I've taken off this week before and it's been 90F.

Anyway, my list of things include a lot of stuff both inside and out. I'll be planting my garden, mulching, gathering more stuff for Burlington and posting auctions. There will b...
