Haven’t talked about my fave hoodie for a while now so going to show her with some love since it’s getting a lil cold outside. I can’t believe I debuted this hoodie in 2020 and it’s still going strong. I haven’t changed the pattern once since then bc it’s THAT GOOD – I’ve only added more sizes!

Extended size range!!!

With the Pistachio drop, I decided to extend the cloud hoodie size range to include:

XXS/XS
S/M M/L (new)
L/XL
1X/2X (new)
3X/4X (new)

If these sizes work out well, I’ll implement the new sizing across all the colors!

And just like that…it’s November! What?! Last month flew by with record speed, or at least it did for me! We kicked off the month with the annual Blogifam retreat and then Sam and I went on our very first trip to Italy! After that, I honestly needed a vacay from my vacay…but it was time to get back to work! And somewhere in there, I launched my first POPFLEX sleepwear collection!

SHOP SLEEP ROMPER

Listen. Not all rompers are created equal! This one was MADE for sleep. It’s ultra light, soft and stretchy. Even the waistband is so stretchy that I don’t feel it on my skin AT ALL. Seriously, I don’t sacrifice comfort for cuteness when it comes to sleep. It must be both. And yes, pockets are necessary on all things sooo I added one to both sides.

Was the pee tutorial sufficient, or were instructions still unclear? I can’t believe I did that… but anything to help, right?

RIP my feet after 3 Italian cities in 7 days

Doing 3 cities in 7 days was far too ambitious for our first Italian whirlwind of a trip but hey we did it and my feet are SORE!

Biggest accomplishments:

Finally walking the ancient streets of Pompeii and seeing the famous cast of the man who tried to get up in his last moments (so tragic).
Riding a gondola in the actual Venice canals (not the one in LA or the one in Vegas haha).
30,000 steps a day (honestly v proud).
Seeing our friends tie the knot on the Amalfi coast (so romantic).

Biggest Travel Learnings:

Flats can still be extremely painful (women need better options for cute, comfy, dressy shoes).
Don’t travel without cash (oops).
Don’t travel without a debit card esp when you forgot the cash (let’s just say stressing out about not being able to pay for things in euros was 100% the backbone of this trip).
Always pack your personal bag with emergency undies, contacts, toothbrushes, skincare etc bc when we missed our connecting flight back to the U.S. due to a delay, we were stranded for the night in a foreign city with NOTHING.

Amalfi, Venice and Rome were so impressive – rich with history and bursting with stunning architecture, but it was A LOT to take in in such a short amount of time.

I need a vacation after this vacation

1.5 years later, my first sleepwear collection is here 🌙

I may have started with activewear, but the truth is, I don’t just want to dress you in the gym. I want to dress you in all parts of your life, from day to night.

My heart (and your requests) have led me to designing for you swimwear, hiking apparel, casual wear, and most recently, underwear! Thank you for trusting me and allowing me to take on new categories! It’s so fun!

But…as you can see…I’ve yet to design for the night!

My first ever sleepwear collection is here, after 1.5 years of designing. And you know what? It’s actually not even complete. There are a few designs that are just taking longer than I’d like to get right. I’m still learning how to work with the cotton fabric to achieve the perfect fit. It has been ENDLESS rounds of samples and it was starting to hold back the rest of the collection.

I asked you if I should just release what I have ready or if you’d rather wait for the complete collection… and I’m so glad you said to go ahead with the first drop! It calmed the perfectionist in me and reminded me that IT’S OKAY to pivot, give you what’s ready, and take my time on the rest. So…ready to see The Dreams Collection?!

I’m so excited for you to experience the luxurious modal fabric I chose for this collection! It’s soft to the touch, stretchy, and has a cooling effect – VERY important if you’re a hot sleeper like me.

My favorite parts are in the details. The rose gold snaps, satin rosettes, and every little pleat and curve. The way it drapes on the body. If you didn’t get the point of a matching sleep set before, you’re about to.

Sweet dreams!

Something’s gone forever…

Something had to go to make room for something new…

When I first launched Blogilates at Target back in December 2020, my favorite product and the one I was the most proud of was the gold dumbbell. I had not seen anything like it on the market and I wanted to bring that aesthetic luxury feeling into all our home workouts.

 

The weights did really well and it made my heart so full to see you guys using them! On the flip side – the resounding feedback was that they were just too expensive. Over and over I would hear this and I knew I had to do something about it.

So, in the end, though it was a decision I didn’t want to make, the gold weights needed to be retired in order to make space (literally) for something more affordable, but still cute.

 

I worked on creating aesthetic, muted colored dumbbells that would still give you that luxurious feeling even without the gold. I just launched my new Blogilates Jelly Weights at Target and I think the lower prices will allow many more people to enjoy Blogilates. I hope you like them!

I love me a shirt that can be worn many different ways (hello, Bow Back Long Sleeve and Reversible Deep V), but I HAD NO IDEA that the Call Me Baby Long Sleeve could be worn more than one way until someone commented asking, “Is it reversible so it can be a boatneck as well?”

I tried it and…. IT WORKS.

SHOP CALL ME BABY LONG SLEEVE

I mean, even the thumbholes work when you wear it in reverse. There are no tags or labels that make it obvious that the shirt is backwards and the little boatneck is so cute! I cannot believe I didn’t test this out! LOVE.

But is it a true boatneck?

Some of you said no, because the boat is too small. Okay…so you want a YACHT. I gotchu.

Let’s reverse the Your Favorite Long Sleeve to see if the wide neckline creates a bigger boat. I have a feeling…

The Trader Joe’s Fall Items I’m Most Excited for in 2024

Fall has arrived! At least it has according to Trader Joe’s, and that’s good enough for me. Cue sweater, soup, and spooky szn.

The day pumpkin takes over the store is like a holiday. It’s exciting to reunite with beloved seasonal items and discover what’s new. It’s also pure madness because popular items sell out quickly, some of them permanently before “official fall” even starts. It’s an experience, okay?!

To ensure I didn’t miss out, I dragged my family on a detour to Trader Joe’s on our way home from a weekend getaway and braved the Sunday crowd to see what my store had in stock. Crazy? Maybe. Worth it? Totally.

Here are the Trader Joe’s fall items I’m most excited for this year.1. Butternut Squash Mac n’ Cheese

I’m not sure how TJ’s does it, but they made this frozen mac n’ cheese taste like it was freshly made. It’s creamy, it’s cheesy, and the butternut squash flavor is perfectly balanced. If I were to recommend one fall item, this would be it.

2. Gluten-Free Pumpkin Pancake Mix

These are a 10/10 and I buy several boxes every year. The texture is almost like a mochi pancake, soft and chewy in the middle and slightly crispy on the outside. Don’t come for me, but I honestly don’t think they even need syrup.

3. Fall Leaf Tortilla Chips

Chips shaped like leaves + buffalo chicken dip + football. No further explanation needed.

4. Autumnal Harvest Soup

I love a soup with simple ingredients that I can just heat and serve. Plus the flavor combo of butternut squash, pumpkin, tomato and seasonings are A VIBE. If you’re not in the mood for fall yet, one bite of this will do it.

5. Maple & Sea Salt Kettle Corn

This holds me over until I can buy freshly made kettle corn at my local fall festival. It’s that good! Buy at least two bags, because it disappears quickly (at your house and in stores).

6. Mashed Sweet Potatoes

I stock up on these every year. Any time I need a quick serving of veggies, I heat these up. There’s only one ingredient – sweet potatoes, which means you can enjoy them as-is or dress them up however you like.

7. Maple Oat Beverage

I buy this for the sole purpose of making oatmeal. Warm, creamy, maple-flavored oats on a crisp fall morning? I’m all for it.

8. Pumpkin Gnocchi

Everything about this is delish – the flavor, the texture, the convenience. Just melt a little butter over these little pillows of heaven (or get fancy and and brown that butter with a little sage. YUM), and dinner is served.

9. Mini Spicy Pumpkin Samosas

The best fall appetizer if you’re into the spicy-sweet flavor (I absolutely am).

10. Honeycrisp Apple Granola

I love making my own granola, but this one is totally worth a buy. I love the apple flavor with yogurt, but it’s insanely good as a shortcut topping for apple crisp.

11. Pumpkin Cream Cheese Spread

I love this spread because it’s not TOO pumpkin-y. My favorite way to enjoy is on a mini bagel, but it’s also very taste on an apple or with some pretzels. You could also get creative and combine this with puff pastry to make a pumpkin cream cheese danish.

12. Pumpkin Cranberry Crisps

Crunchy, and the perfect balance of salty-sweet. I love these on a fall-themed charcuterie board or dipped in creamy butternut squash soup.

New Fall Items (New-new and new to me)

I blacked out and threw everything I didn’t recognize in the cart.

1. Savory Squash Pastry Bites

Pillowy puff pastry bites filled with pumpkin and butternut squash filling, with FOUR different cheeses. I saw this appetizer and immediately thought, “Girl Dinner.”

2. Maple Pancake Snaps

These are just new to me, and I’m not sure why I missed them before? These remind me of an elevated, maple-flavored graham cracker. Nothing earth-shattering, but a very solid fall treat.

3. Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew Concentrate

First, I must confess that I am a hot coffee girly, year-round. That being said, I do enjoy a good cold brew every now and then. I liked that this one didn’t have any added sweeteners, but the flavor just wasn’t there for me. It needed a creamer (TJ’s Cinnamon Bun, perhaps?), but was overall just ok.

4. Sweet Potato Habanero Hot Sauce

If you enjoy hot sauce, especially with a vinegar base, give this a try. It’s unique and addicting.

5. Herbs de Provence Potato Wedges

WHY am I just now trying these? Definitely adding to my arsenal of quick freezer side dishes.

6. Witches Brew Spiced Wine

Festive wine! This reminds me of a mulled wine – sweet, with a warm flavor profile.

7. Vanilla Pumpkin Hand Soap

With this soap, it is officially fall in my house.

8. Mini Succulent Skull

I saw these guys and had to have one. They’re just fun and honestly, the plant section gets me every time.

When I introduced Your Favorite Long Sleeve, you were like, “love, but what if the neckline wasn’t so wide?” Well, it’s a good thing I’m always two steps ahead of you . I guess you could say I know you pretty well.

Call Me Baby Long Sleeve

This 90s-inspired crew neck long sleeve is ultra soft and stretchy, with water resistant fabric that won’t stretch out and doesn’t easily wrinkle.

I designed it to be the perfect length to wear with high-waisted jeans, leggings, or (my current fave) a long denim skirt. So it’s not really cropped, but a little shorter than full length.

Oh, and I made it in 9 colors!
