SHEIN has fully gone shameless thief mode. Ugh.
Hey guys,
SHEIN is at it again, stealing designs without making even the slightest effort to hide what they’re doing. Remember when the company president called me and promised this wouldn’t happen again? Well, here we are. They’re not only stealing the designs, but the entire vision for each one; From how the design is styled to how the model is posed. It’s ridiculous.

You know I’ve got ’em. Funny how it was never supposed to happen again yet I keep finding MORE?! I don’t know if I should laugh or cry.
Victim #1: Hiking Superskort
How creative of you to pair your copy of my skort with a white top, on a model with the same skin tone.

I guess when I said, “Stop stealing my skort design,” SHEIN actually heard “Help yourself to all of my skort designs.”

I don’t even know what to say. Having your model hold a tennis racket doesn’t make anything about this original.

Guys, I AM SO TIRED.
This has to stop.SHEIN seems to think they can steal a design, take it down when “caught,” and relist it under a different name. Their inventory is so massive (hi, fast fashion), that they assume stolen designs are easy to “hide,” like a dupe of my Pirouette Skort, listed with 14 pages of other skorts.
But we’re catching on. Designers and small business owners like me are watching. Our communities are watching. And we’re fighting.
And if you still think I’m “overreacting,” tell that to hundreds of other small business owners who unknowingly worked for free to contribute to SHEIN’s $32 billion of revenue in 2023…
Tell me sir, what is the point of running a business with no integrity? Building a brand with no trust? I guess for $32.5 billion a year, you think stealing is just a way of business, don’t you?
To my community,I didn’t want to bring this up again but I just can’t keep it in. I am boiling over with disappointment and anger. SHEIN doing this to me is one thing, but the people who will end up commenting on my post defending this billion-dollar corporation is a whole ‘nother kind of twisted.

Pockets everywhere! Super functional but also sleek and feminine (not bulky Size inclusivity – The belt is adjustable with a full circumference at 55” which is larger than our 3X waist on the size chart!

I am so weirded out…dupe culture, exposed.
Hey guys,
Dupe culture = counterfeit culture. There, I said it. No one wants to hear it but it’s true, and it’s getting absolutely out of control.
I’m sharing with you what’s been happening with me because I am terrified of the future of dupe culture, especially with its popularity being propelled by the use of AI. There is really no point in trying to explain any of this to you through writing…so I want you to watch this video. You have to see it to believe it. The video is about 5 min and 40 sec – kind of long – but trust me, you will want to watch all the way to the end. It just gets weirder and weirder…
First, let’s set the stage.My Pirouette Skort was first stolen by SHEIN, twice, and then duped numerous times all over Amazon. I eventually was awarded a design patent for my skort in hopes of having some protection.
Well, it’s only gotten astronomically worse after Taylor Swift wore it this spring. Grateful forever 
, however, the extra exposure opened the floodgates for the counterfeiters to hijack the opportunity. There are dupers coming out from every corner of the internet and I am getting so exhausted trying to whack-a-mole each one.

Uhhhhhh…did you SEE that? DID YOU SEE THAT!???
I don’t see this ending anytime soon. Actually, it will probably get worse. AI is making it way WAY too easy to steal designs, falsify images, and trick consumers into buying fake, lower quality products. It’s a lawless place in the world of fashion and no one’s paying attention to these crimes except for me and my small team, who are often notified by you guys in the DMs. Thank you for watching out for me as this becomes a bigger and bigger problem.
What can we do?If you are wondering how you can help, USE THE REPORT BUTTON 
if you see a dupe. These are counterfeits, which are illegal, so you can mark as fraudulent. Your use of the report button is just as strong as mine. Any power we may be able to have is going to be our strength in numbers. So please, if you see something weird, report it, and tell others in our community to report it too.

A much needed step away from the grind…
Hey guys!
Even though Sam and I work together every day, I often feel like we don’t get to see each other. I mean, physically I SEE him but if I’m being real, emotionally I’m not really there. I am hyper-focused, super intense, and honestly just too serious. But that’s quintessential business mode Cassey.
So…every summer I make it a point to plan what I like to call our Minimoon: a chance for us to step away from the grind (well, as best as we can…I mean as business owners can you ever REALLY!?!?) and be fully present with one another. I call it a Minimoon because I’m forever chasing the pure happiness that was our Honeymoon!

We spent our days in the water and our nights gazing up at the sparkling sky. We retired when the sun retired and rose as she rose. We ate fries at every meal because we could so we did. We walked everywhere and rushed nowhere. We chose to disconnect in order to reconnect.
The past couple weeks have given me more than I wished for.
(No but like, literally. I wished to swim with 1 mantaray and we ended up swimming with 9!!!)
It’s been magical
Now…we just need to figure out how to sprinkle this Minimoon mentality into our weekly lives instead of waiting for it once a year! Adding a sense of slowness where we can would be nice…except…kinda hard when the biz is in an exciting (and exhausting) growth phase. Oh well, we’ll figure it out! We always do, right Sam!?!

Guys, the drop has dropped. Introducing, POPFLEX Swim 2024!!!
AHHH! Summer is officially here!!! 
I took all your feedback from our first swim drop last year, meshed it with new ideas (and more cup sizes), and guys, our 2024 POPFLEX Swim Collection is our mermaidiest dreamiest drop yet!
As always – these pieces aren’t just for sitting pretty, they’re made for play!
For 2024, we have 16 silhouettes: Some that we loved last year (with a few improvements!) plus brand new designs. The goal? Create a silhouette for every body type, more cup sizes than EVER, and coverage options for every comfort level.
WE ARE NOT DREADING SWIMSUIT SHOPPING EVER AGAIN, OKAY?!
Choose your cheekiness!Different bodies and comfort levels require OPTIONS. So I designed five bikini bottoms with different rises, cuts, and cheek coverage. Here they are, in order from most to least cheeky:

Ooooh and one other major change from last year! I brought back the Boardwalk Bombshell One Piece because duhhh we love her. BUT I also added a mid-coverage option in black if you’re looking for something with MORE coverage than the original.
You asked for more cup sizes, so that was at the top of the list when the design team and I went to the drawing board for Swim 2024. We set out to include up to G-cup and I have to say, it was not easy. BUT WE DID IT.
The Boardwalk Bombshell Bikini Top and Boardwalk Bombshell One Piece are available in cup sizes A-G and all of the tops range from sizes XXS to 3X.

Ummmmmm HOWWWWW are we currently living in a Sabrina Carpenter me espresso moment when I designed this vintage 50’s inspired swim piece over a year ago!?!? I don’t follow trend reports or anything…just my heart (no really) so this is a complete surprise!
First of all LOVE our lil polly pocket singer, second of all, when you guys asked for coverage – I was on it immediately. But I didn’t wanna do diaper frump town USA coverage ya know? I wanted something classy, something feminine, something exactly like what eventually became the Reef Romper you see here!
The fabric is so smooth and soft…there are pockets…there’s adjustability and snatchability…it’s lined bc no one wants a see thru swimsuit…and guys, I say coverage while still looking cute has been officially accomplished.

A quick 24 hours in Miami!
Hey guys!
A quick 24-hour trip to Miami…not for vacay, but for work – a different type of work! I’m trading in my sketchbook 
for a microphone 
for the day because I have the honor of hosting the Small Biz Challenge being put on by UPS and Inc. Magazine!
The hosting job took me back to my oratory days – I had not needed to memorize so many words since high school 
! A challenge indeed, but I’m always game to test myself.

I love love love doing work with new entrepreneurs because I know exactly how lonely it can feel to have a wild idea and to have no one believe in you…but you. Surrounding yourself with people who will encourage you to go for the dream instead of dissuading you from it is so necessary to build confidence early on in your entrepreneurial journey.
The big moment!Out of 5,895 applicants, 3 small business owners made it to the stage, and one took home the $25,000 grant. Big big big congrats to Bitty Bao, a business started by 2 teachers who wanted to make bilingual learning easier for their kids!
I had a lot of fun on stage and loved meeting everyone! After the show was over, Sam and I did our best to squeeze in a few hours of play in our last moments in Miami! A dip in the ocean, some great food, and then back home!

A skort for my non-twirly girlies
Hey guys!
Soo I wanted to add a new skort silhouette for those of you who aren’t into the twirly vibes – wanted to go more fitted, more sporty – but of course, you’ll never lose that romantic touch with me
This time I’m playing around with quite a few new elements as I mesh together the contrasting feminine and masculine design aesthetics into one skort.

I am 5’5” wearing size S in the Bungee Superskort which comes in XXS-3X and is avail on POPFLEX in 4 colors! You can dress this up or down and keep it as modest as you want! Just adjust the bungee to show more or less leg! The fabric is super stretchy and the waistband won’t pinch. Oh and yes, there are built-in pockets that are actually big enough to hold your phone and other necessities!
If you’re looking for more coverage, it also comes in a sklegging version!
