Dreams Reveal Information to Prevent Health Problems

Dreams often send you messages of warning for an upcoming problem in your life. To recognize a premonition dream, please read and watch the video Did You Have a Precognitive Dream? In today’s blog post, I will focus on preventive health care. But first, here is a quote from my book Learn the Secret Language of Dreams about why we have health dreams.

Here is an example of a preventive health dream from a client of mine:

I dreamed that I was lying in a hospital bed with some type of medical contraption that was helping me breathe. I lit up a cigarette, inhaled it, and started coughing up blood. I heard someone say that I needed to stop smoking even though nobody was in the room. This made me afraid.

This was an easy dream to interpret, although my client needed confirmation that he should indeed stop smoking. When he asked who was speaking to him, my response was, “Either your Angel or spirit guide.” Hopefully, he quit smoking to avoid future health issues.

Do all health warning dreams have such a clear interpretation? At times; however, these dreams can also be symbolic. How can you tell if this is a precognitive health dream? By the following three ways:

Intuitively, you feel this could happen.
Remembering the dream vividly.
Feeling that your health has been off lately.

So when is it not a warning health dream? There was no guidance or solution in the dream, the dream had multiple symbols or scenes not related to your health, or a recent medical checkup stated you are in perfect health.

When you experience this type of dream, should you book a doctor’s appointment? That depends on what the dream was about; however, if the dream is causing you fear and stress, then schedule a time to receive an expert’s diagnoses for peace of mind.

Contemplate any dream messages you received to maintain your health, although be certain your pursuit for healthy remedies doesn’t harm yourself and anyone around you. If you’re unsure of any guidance, ask your health care provider or Google the information.

Have you ever had a dream regarding your health? Feel free to share about it in the comments.

Did you experience a dream, yet can’t decipher if it’s a warning dream or understand the meaning?  Email or phone/Skype dream interpretation session are available.

Can Vitamins Affect Your Dreams?

My Father and I often send one another articles of interest, and the most recent article he sent me was about how vitamin B6 assists people to remember their dreams. Hmm, interesting, I thought as wonder if this could actually work?

There was study in Australia with one hundred healthy people, who many couldn’t recall their dreams. After taking B6 it did enable better retention of their dreams. To learn more about this experiment, please read the article at WellandGood.com

Then I decided to research if other vitamins could alter dreams, here are two interesting articles I found:

According to ehealthme.com vitamin C will cause bad dreams.
Menshealth.com claims that magnesium enables super crazy dreams.

Is it possible vitamins have an impact on your dreams? Personally, I’ve never experienced it; however, I do know that a clean room aids in dream recall and sweet dreams. Environment dreams are caused by what is occurring within and around us, while also protecting us from harm. If our environment alters our dreams, why not vitamins? Although, please read the vitamin instructions before taking to avoid adverse reactions.

Have you ever dreamt differently after taking vitamin B6, C, or magnesium? If yes, please share your experience below.

Would you like to recall your dreams without vitamins? Please check out the FREE gift How to Remember Your Dreams. To learn more about environment dreams and other dream categories, read the book Learn the Secret Language of Dreams.

Feeling Emotions in Dreams

Do you wonder why your emotions are so intense during a dream? Is what you’re feeling real or an illusion? Or are these repressed emotions that you refused to deal with during the day?

During a dream interpretation, one of the questions I ask my client is, “What were you feeling in the dream?” Why? Your emotions are gigantic indicators of what a symbol or symbols represent, while explaining the true dream meaning of what you dreamt. To learn more about how feelings effect symbolism, an engagement ring is used as an example in the blog post Are Dream Dictionaries Interpretations Right or Wrong?

As a dream interpreter, who has been working on her personal and spiritual growth since 1989, I’m going to go out on a limb to say, “Our emotions are accurate ninety-nine percent of the time in the dreamtime.” Human beings are constantly repressing their emotions during their waking hours. Why? Here are four reasons:

It’s not always in your best interest to express emotions. For instance, at work, in the moment revealing your true feeling could temporary feel therapeutically wonderful. However, you may also be fired from your job.
Busy lifestyles don’t allow much time to process emotions.
Denial about what you are feeling.
Members of your society have told you certain feelings are wrong to express.

This quote from my book Psychic Wisdom on Love and Relationships sums up what happens to those feelings:

Feelings that have not been felt do not disappear; instead they become trapped in our bodies.

So all these feelings that have been ignored are stuffed into your body. Where do they go? To assist you in dealing with repressed emotions, your psyche and Higher Source reroute them to be processed in your dreams. This is one benefit of learning your dream language to resolve issues attached to your emotions.

Extreme repressed emotions due to trauma will be revealed in post-traumatic stress disorder dreams, which is why it’s important to work with a specialist to aid healing.

If you continue to ignore your feelings it could end up as dis-ease as the late Louise Hay of Hay House wrote about.

Honestly, it takes more time, effort, and struggle to stuff your feelings. While as uncomfortable as negative emotions are: when you observe them, stay in the moment to feel them, accept this what you’re feeling, then let it go – this process will bring about freedom in your life. Although, this exercise will need to be repeated over and over throughout your lifetime.

When you feel and process your emotions, this will enable you to dream more sweet dreams!

How a Clean Bedroom Helps Dream Recall

One response I hear the most when I tell people I’m a dream interpreter is – I can’t remember my dreams. Sometimes somebody wonders if they dream at all. Which I reply, “Of course you did. Your body has to dream in order to have Rapid Eye Movement (REM) sleep or you would be dead. REM also happens to cats and other animals.”

Remembering your dreams is possible if you start using your dream recall muscle. Just like you have workout clothes for the gym or tools to help you with a project, there are things you can do to aid you when trying to retain your dreams of the nighttime. A clean sleeping area is the first step.

Are you thinking, what does that have to do with me being able to remember my dreams? Think about it, have you ever tried to find something in a messy drawer or room, and not be able to locate it? Your sleeping environment has the same effect to keep your dreams hidden.

Also a messy bedroom can trigger unpleasant dreams or even nightmares as our environment has an effect on our dreams. Let your first dream recall be a pleasant dream experience.

When you do remember your dreams, it’s important to record them in your journal, tablet, smartphone, laptop, or voice recording device – ASAP. Valuable dream insights can quickly fade away; therefore, don’t waste time, in a half-awake state, searching for your dream recorder in a messy bedroom or wherever you sleep.

Using Yoga to Interpret Your Dreams

Are you baffled by a dream’s meaning? Do you enjoy practicing yoga? Combined them both in a unique way to do dream interpretation. Please do this method at home.

Here’s how to do a yoga interpreting dream session:

[image error]Sit in a lotus or a cross legged seated position. Breathe deeply as you contemplate your dream. Set your intention that you will receive clarity on the dream meanings at the end of your practice.

Stand in mountain pose while doing ten deep cleansing breaths.

To assist you refrain on analyzing your dream, instead of allowing the answers to be revealed – do poses to keep your head below your heart. In each of the following poses breathe deeply five to ten times before moving on to the next one.

From mountain pose, do a forward fold.

Then do a half forward fold.

Next, move into downward dog.

Put your knees to floor, sit in a seated position as you record your answers with pen and paper, a recording device, or smartphone, tablet, or laptop.

Let’s say during forward fold, you receive the answers to your dream meanings. You have a choice of two options. The first to repeat your insights over and over as a mantra until sitting back in a seated position to document the answer. Secondly, stop the practice to record your dreams meaning, then continue your practice. Interruptions do happen during a yoga home session all the time, as I can attest to when I do my meows on the mat.

[image error]Yoga with Merlin

[image error]Perhaps you didn’t receive an answer? No worries, continue with sun salutations or other poses. Once you have finished with the physicality of your practice, allow yourself to breathe deeply into Savasana. Again, don’t force an interpretation, instead let go. You may get an answer during Savasana, later that night, or in a day or two.

Lastly, if you still don’t have your interpretation, use the techniques from this blog Got Problems? Solution Dreams to the Rescue. Or if that doesn’t work, you could purchase an email dream interpretation.

Nightmare Quotes

Are you wondering why I would do a blog on nightmare quotes? Perhaps you would prefer that nightmares didn’t exist? They occur to alert us to what we are repressing or fearful of; to learn more about why we have bad dreams, please read the blog Nightmares are a Gift. Below you will find twelve quotes including two from my book Learn the Secret Language of Dreams.

You are the keeper of your memories. And you are the composer of your nightmares. – David J. Naiman

Nightmares are a gift because the person is being forced awake to look at an issue that they have been avoiding to find a solution. – Pamela Cummins

You learned to run from what you feel, and that’s why you have nightmares. To deny is to invite madness. To accept is to control. – Megan Chance

Nightmares are needed to help us get out of denial of a situation or work past a fear to achieve better lives. – Pamela Cummins

Never are we as honest as at night, alone with thoughts and nightmares. – Laura Lam

Dreams of a Deceased Father

Dreaming of a deceased loved one is quite common; however, it can cause confusion on whether it was an actual visitation or just a dream. There was a time when I thought it was usually one or the other, until I experienced an intense dream that was a combination of both. You can read about my encounter in the blog Messages of Love from the Departed.

A client granted me permission to use her recent dream for publication, although to keep the photo of her father private. Just a little background before going into the dream and interpretation; her dad has been deceased for a few decades, while her mother passed a few years ago.

Dream

My dad appeared to me in our kitchen where I grew up, my son was there, too. At first I thought my dad was my son because he was so young. He was in his white T-shirt, bathing suit, and black socks. For a minute it seemed that he was not alive when I hugged him, but then he was.

We went by this watery world where I was before and he was driving on a narrow road surrounded by water. I thought we were going to go in, didn’t, but we were okay. Next, my Dad and I were in a store, then he left to do something.

I kept trying to call him on my phone, somehow this guy next to me was controlling it. Then I told that guy to stop it and he did.

I was still trying to call my dad, when I saw him walking with his friend. My mom was in the background. He said he lost weight because he didn’t have money for lunch.

When he was gone, I was in a salon and the girls kept making comments about their customers. I told them that I knew what they were doing.

Interpretation

Your dream seems to be a combination of a visitation from your father and symbolism. When your dad appeared in the kitchen, he was stopping by to say hello. His appearance was similar to your photo of him in order for you to recognize him. The meeting place was the hearth of your childhood home; however, since your son was also there is your father’s way of letting you know that he is watching over both of you. And he is always alive inside of you, hence the meaning of the hug in your dream.

The water world and narrow road could be part of the visitation, yet also symbolic. Water’s main interpretations are emotions and cleaning, you can learn more about this in the blog Water Symbol Has Many Different Dream Meanings. In this part of your dream I am interpreting it as you and your dad have made peace with his passing, the road in-between each other is narrow, and he’s with you during your ordinary moments, even when you’re at the store.

In the next scenes you are being shown that you can contact your father no matter how it seems out of your control. Your father is with his friends and your mom is there, too. The weight loss stands for him letting go of his Earthly form and needs. What the important message is that – your father and mother are always with you, as well as other loved ones.

There could be quite a few meanings for the salon scene; therefore, let’s keep it in the same context as the other scenes. This is showing you that some people may fear visitations from their departed loved ones, so instead they poke fun at the subject. You are letting them know you understand what they’re doing, while standing in your truth.

What I find beautiful about my client’s dream is the knowledge that no matter how long our mother and father journeyed to the other side – they are with us through our lifetime.

Have you ever had a dream about your deceased father, mother, or other loved one? Feel free to leave a comment.

Angel Card Readings on Facebook Live

I’m thrilled to announce starting this Sunday, March 25, 2018, at noon Eastern Time I will be doing live Angel card readings for the week on the Virtual Psychic Fair Facebook page.

[image error]The two main decks that are going to be used during this time are Dyan Garris beautiful Angels of the Morning and Song of Om oracle decks. However, my guides may on occasion guide me to use another deck – this oracle card junkie has plenty of decks!

These live readings will only be around fifteen minutes; therefore, I recommend that you come in early if you have a question to type in the comments. Then I will pull a card or two for your question or to assist in interpreting your dream. Or you can listen at your convenience. Need a sample? The below post is a reading I did, click to see each card’s message on my Facebook page.

Just an FYI – there will not be an Angel card reading on Easter, April 1, 2018 and that’s not an April fool’s joke. I’ll be spending with my family on that day.

I hope to see you there!

Stop the Pinterest Scammers Who Steal Pins

Pinners, beware! Thieves are stealing pins, change the website link, and redirecting them to their own website, click bates, or other scams. Pinterest has been fighting this uprising situation and resolving this as fast as they can; however, you can help, too. Before you pin – check to see if the website link matches the one on the pin. Or click to see if the pin leads to the correct site, although only do this if your devices are protected from virus attacks. Here’s the Pinterest help link on spam: https://help.pinterest.com/en/articles/spam-pinterest

For Business Pinners

You have business accounts, so you want to create that perfect pin for your blog, product, or service by: searching for the perfect commercial free picture or pay for one, clicking on your Canva account or whatever tool you use to create your pins, checking what colors and fonts work best for the pin, spending anywhere from five minutes to half an hour creating that perfect pin, and uploading it to your website or blog. It starts bringing in traffic, then traffic slows down; therefore, you go on Pinterest only to discover that some scammer has redirected your pin to their website!

I understand your outrage and frustration! This is how I felt when I discovered my pins were stolen. My two pins on PTSD dreams were taken by two different scammers to redirect to the same website. Another scammer took a pin that I created for my column The Love Channel  in Bellesprit Magazine to be redirected to a porn website! What a relief when Pinterest took those pins down, yet the next day a scammer tried to steal my PTSD pin again; can you say – report to Pinterest.

Until Pinterest can solve this problem I advise that you check your pins weekly. I know it’s a hassle, but it’s worth it. Here’s how:

Check your keywords and hashtags to search for your pins.
Run your mouse over your pin to see if it has your correct URL or click on the pin to see where the URL is being directed to.
Block any spammers to stop access to your account and pins.
Click on the three dots (…) on the right to report a pin, scroll to the bottom of Report this Pin, and click on this is my intellectual property. Fill out the form, although DON’T select “Remove All” because then your pin is removed from Pinterest, too. Instead, SELECT “STRIKE,” which will remove the stolen pin from Pinterest and ban the spammer – hooray!
Avoid doing what I did (lesson learned), by wasting your time emailing the website or leaving a comment on how they stole your pin.
Breathe deeply and relax. Pinterest technical staff will remove that stolen pin ASAP.
Report other scam pins that are not your own or let the business owner know their pin has been stolen.
From now on make sure your pins are branded with your name and/or website, which helps alert pinners whether a pin has been stolen by a spammer.

Lastly, ask God, Goddess, or whatever you choose to call your Higher Source – to protect your pins. Here’s the hard part; begin the forgiveness process for the loser who has stolen your pin. Think about how sick, desperate, insecure, and fearful these scammers must be in order to ride off your success, instead of having the courage to build their own business. Know that their karma is coming; better them than you!
