MY REVIEW

Michelle Griep’s stories never disappoint, and The Bride of Blackfriars Lane, is no exception. She keeps her readers hopping, eager to see what happens next.

Saucy and brassy Kit Turner has faced her share of challenges. And always she comes out the winner. Until she tumbles—literally—into a mess she can’t quite get to the bottom of. One which also goes against her future husband’s wishes. And threatens their future marriage—and her whole world.

Jackson Forge holds a more traditional view of a woman’s role, even though he’s well familiar with Kit’s wiles. When he can’t rein her in (which infuriates Kit) he begins to question their entire relationship—and threatens their upcoming nuptials.

Not only are the characters intriguing and the setting vivid, but the story is compelling, taking the reader on a journey as twisted and convoluted as the streets and alleys of London. A journey of love and compromise and self-discovery.
