Best Caregiver Ever

I know a caregiver who in my opinion is amazing at what she does for a loved one of mine and for whom I am literally thankful beyond measure, but the best caregiver ever is not her nor any human at all.

There is no greater source of love, care, comfort, compassion, kindness, tenderness, help, encouragement, goodness, sacrifice, grace, mercy, hope, and peace than the Lord Jesus Christ. Wild Eye Exam Testimony

I am sure countless people when they are told to look through the eye exam machine I had to look through may be told, “look at the cross,” but my experience went far beyond the norm. In fact, it was quite supernatural.

Stubbornness Is Not Funny

Over the years I have heard people joke around about being stubborn, hardheaded, resistant, rebellious, etc. when it comes to doing right. But stubbornness is not funny. It is sin and it must be gotten rid of.

God does not call us to stubbornness. He calls us to submission and surrender to Jesus Christ as Lord and to His ways as He teaches us in the Bible.

When Life Feels Impossible

Don’t Do It Prematurely

When a baby is born prematurely, the baby is not fully developed, not fully prepared, not all ready, etc. in order to enter into the world and live completely able to be totally healthy, utterly thrive, and best face life and all that is to come. The same thing is true in a sense for those of us adults who try to rush ahead of God and prematurely enter into God’s will for us before it is God’s time for us.

Facing the Impossible

Sometimes we face impossible hurdles, obstacles, challenges, issues, circumstances, emotions, people, etc. At least this all seems impossible. And we may feel terrified, downcast, downtrodden, depressed, discouraged, anxious, terribly upset, incapable, unqualified, inadequate, overwhelmed, overloaded, etc. Oh, but friend, there is hope!

What seems, feels, and/or actually is totally impossible in the hands of ourselves and our fellow humans is NOT impossible with God!

Oh, Praise the Lord!

Right in the midst of reading the Bible Old Testament book of Deuteronomy during which I confess I was not as focused as I would like to be, a verse stood powerfully out from the rest of them. A few days later, returning to my reading of that section of the Bible as I had gone on to read elsewhere, again that verse stood so strongly out. Then the Lord led me to write this message.
