Anxiety & Bench Testimony

    When the Holy Spirit of God made clear He wanted me to stop walking and sit down on a stone bench that looked plenty uncomfortable not to mention I do not typically sit on benches, it made no sense to me. But I submitted to God and sat down.

Scared to Let Go

My Special Book

       “Give me that book because I have a lot to say,” I said to myself as I scrambled to get my special book. My notebook to be precise. The green-covered one that on the back I put in enormous letters, “My Thank You God Book”.

     In the midst of one of the hardest seasons of my life, I felt exceedingly compelled to have a notebook ONLY to write a list of things for which I am thankful to God. Not a single prayer. Only thank-you’s.

A Gift and a Blessing

    I was not even fully awake when the Holy Spirit of God spoke to my heart these words.

     “Every day is a gift and a blessing,” the Spirit of God said.

     I wanted to go back to sleep. I did not want to find a pen and paper and write the words down. I figured I would remember when I woke up later – maybe. But I pushed myself to get the pen and write the words. Just in case.
