Take My Plans GOD!

“Take my plans and give me your plans,” I essentially prayed to God.

Can you imagine praying that prayer? Can you imagine living this way?

Can you fathom living each and every day with an indescribable passion to give up every plan you have and exchange it for God’s perfect plans for you?

Can you conceive of being so in love with the Lord Jesus Christ, and so devoted to Him, and so surrendered to Him that every single day you are willing AND wanting to forsake and sacrifice and give up every sin...

Rain and Sun Together

A few days of loads of rain thanks to a tropical storm. At long last, sunshine! I looked upward to enjoy the first appearing of the sun after a few days of nothing but clouds and rain, rain, rain. Praise the Lord, finally, the sky would be filled with sunshine! No more rain! But now wait a minute. Must have been my not so great eyesight. I did not just see rain, did I? Surely I was imagining it.

Oh, but I was not. It was raining! And it was sunny! Rain and sun together! And, yes, God immediately...

Wait and Sun Together

I was falling asleep when I very clearly heard the Holy Spirit speak to me.

“Wait until I tell you to go,” the Spirit of God spoke to my heart.

I will not share the details because this message is not about me nor for me. But I can promise you I had such a strong leading from the Lord that as tired as I was that I needed to rise up from my mattress and get to my computer to write this.

My Homemade Soup – And JESUS

The Reason to Be Kind

When I was struck by the extreme kindness of a manager at his place of business along with the kindness of the assistant manager whom I had met on my previous visit and told the manager how thankful I was for his kindness, he had an interesting – and unexpected – response.
