I can be without somebody and be happy, I know that I can, and I am. But every now and then it gets difficult being alone in my silence, and you cannot blame me for sometimes wanting the feeling of someones hands against my skin.
It’s so easy for youto talk about your newlovers, and about all of the things you areable to do now,...
It’s so easy for you
to talk about your new
lovers, and about all
of the things you are
able to do now, now
that I am gone. It’s so
easy for you to fill up
the space in your heart
where my love used
to be. It’s so easy
for you, while it’s killing
me to even look at
someone in the eyes
without seeing your face.
If you study my words closely enough, you will always be able to see somethingthat is about you....
If you study my words closely enough,
you will always be able to see something
that is about you. Whether it be a poem
about falling back into love, or even a
confession about how my loneliness
is starting to become the only one
that I can depend on. Somewhere,
there is always something about you.
And I cannot help myself when it
comes to writing you somewhere in
my meaning. So the next time you are
reading one of my poems that is
about how to forget about someone who
was once your entire world, I hope
you know that the poem is about you.

I hope that one day
we can both look back
on these memories
of cruelty and heartache
and that we can both see
how much we really did
mean to one another.
Because if both of us
really didn’t care as much
as we say we do now,
we would have never
fought so hard for
each others love
in the first place.
i’ll just hide behind these fake painted flowers and act as if...

This is for you, the person
who always seems to love
others but never has had another
love you in return. For you,
the person who always can
find light inside of a room
that is filled only with darkness.
This is for you, the person
who sees love as a treaty
rather than an endless battle.
For you, the person who keeps
holding on even though your hands
keep begging you to let go.
How can you say that someone you don't even know?
How can I tell someone I love them without knowing them? Easily, I just can. For me, loving someone and being in love with someone are two completely different things. I love so many people, but I am in love with no one. Well, maybe I’m in love with my solitude. But I’m not sure. A lot of people ask me this, and this has actually gotten in the way of one of my relationships, but I just don’t see anything wrong with having love inside of your heart for multiple people, including strangers. Sometimes I think it makes you a softer person. It makes you more open and vulnerable, which to me is a good thing. I know people who use the word love like it’s poison, and some who use it like it’s an antidote. It really depends on who you are as a person. But I really don’t know, I just can. It doesn’t hurt when that word comes out of my mouth. To me, loving a person means caring for them. Being in love with someone means wanting to be with someone forever, or for however long you can be together. So to answer your question, love, I’m not sure. I just.. can. I can love others very easily.
