How do you deal with someone who isn't yours anymore? :(

You deal with the fact that you are no longer theirs anymore either and that they are the one who is missing out on something beautiful and growing and something that can never be mimicked. You deal with the fact that there are others out there who would do anything to be by your side, let alone to be yours, and you make sure you never let anyone take you or your love for granted again.

I am trying to think of ways that I can
get you back without having to admit
that I was the one who chased you
away in the first place. But all that I
end up with are unknown reasons
of my cruelty, and even more proof
that I was always the one who took
our time and your love for granted.

"I’ll take a plate of truth,

“I’ll take a plate of truth,

cooked rare and served

with confidence. I’ll also

have the two sides that

are offered with the meal.

For the first side I’ll have

dedication, and for my

second, I’ll have a small

portion of coincidence.

If you can, please bring

everything out together.

I want to see everything

I ordered at once so I know

it was exactly what I asked

for. But for now I’ll take

a glass of integrity. I want

to be ready when my meal

of legitimacy is in front of me,

ready to be digested.”
