Is the book Lolita worth buying without have ever read it, to read it? (I cant find it at any library around me). And do you know of any site i can stream the film? Thanka you!
If you like classic literature I would say read it! It’s a pretty short book and if you’re interested it wouldn’t hurt! You can actually buy the book on iTunes (PDF file) and find it on Amazon (PDF file & physical). As for the film, I bought it awhile ago on iTunes! I know you can watch it on Youtube if you just type it in the search bar! There are probably files of it online somewhere, floating around! I hope you enjoy it, love! I recommend the 1997 version of the film. Only because it’s my favorite and I think it captures the book a lot more than the 1962 version!

And now that I’m really gone

I taught her how to make love
without having to open her heart
to any person that calls her
the most beautiful thing that they
have ever seen. She does it well,
making the men of the night
believe that she is unattainable,
and who knows, maybe she really is.

Listen to her when she tells you
that you are no longer the one
she wants. I know her and she
has never been the kind to play
games, has never been the type
to say one thing but mean another.
So when she tells you to pack up
and go, do it. Because there is not
enough of beautifully convincing
words that will ever have the power
to change her mind.

I want to raise a bunch of dogs and cats together with you and we could live together forever, somewhere with a lot of flowers, and I promise to love you forever and wow you are breathtaking and intelligent and amazing.
Where are you and when can I come to see you so we can start this dreamy life together?

"She knows me, maybe knows me better than I know myself. She knows what I’m going to say before I say..."
She knows me, maybe knows me better than I know myself. She knows what I’m going to say before I say it and knows when I can’t find the words to explain why I do the things that I did.
So she knows me and I let her believe that she didn’t and never did. I convinced her that my mind is a closed off lot with no way to get in without my key of permission. I did this to her and this is something that she didn’t know, didn’t see coming.
I remember the last time I saw her, the last time we exchanged words that weren’t loaded with toxicity, and still till this day I can see the look in her eyes when the hope of our future diminished along with the plans of our love growing even stronger, fading away.
