Inauguration of Jing Si Hall in Johannesburg, South Africa



Tzu Chi has done good deeds and spread love to 11 countries in Africa. On June 19, volunteers from five countries attended the inauguration of the Jing Si Hall in Johannesburg, South Africa. Local Buddhist elders also came to give their blessings to this solemn cultivation ground.

On June 18, in America, Tzu Chi volunteer Dr. Han Huang bid his farewell to the Tzu Chi Dharma family for this lifetime. All Tzu Chi volunteers around the world could not bear to lose such a beloved Dharma family member.

In Poland, Tzu Chi Inspires Ukrainian to Spread Love in Homeland


In the Polish city of Poznan, Tzu Chi completed its last distribution, bringing to an end the first phase of its mission there. Its 78 distributions benefited nearly 23,000 Ukrainian care recipients in Poland and many were inspired to harbor kind thoughts to spread great love.

Master Cheng Yen Elected to U.S. National Academy of Inventors



The founder of Tzu Chi Foundation, Master Cheng Yen, was elected as an Inventor Fellow of the National Academy of Inventors (NAI) of the United States. On June 15, the Academy held the 11th Academician Certification Ceremony for the 164 academicians elected in 2021 in Phoenix, Arizona. Ms. Debra Boudreaux, CEO of Tzu Chi American Federation, attended on behalf of Master Cheng Yen and received the certificate of the NAI.

Tzu Chi Spreads Love in Gorzow, Poland



 


The Polish city of Gorzow is about 100 kilometers from Poznan, from where Tzu Chi volunteers came to make distributions. With a population of only 120,000, the city of Gorzow is accommodating more than 20,000 Ukrainians. It is full of generosity and loving-kindness!

Tzu Chi Brings Love to House of Hope in Poznan, Poland



In Poznan, Poland, there is a "House of Hope", which helps drug addicts and rehabilitated people. Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine this February, it has also hosted refugees from Ukraine. Tzu Chi volunteers have come to care for them.

Tzu Chi Collegiate Volunteers Pass Light On



On May 31, 2022, Tzu Chi Collegiate Association celebrated its 30th anniversary. On this day 30 years ago, the Tzu Chi Collegiate Association was founded, with the blessing of Master Cheng, Yen, founder of the foundation. More than 170 students from 40 colleges and universities in Taiwan took part in the meaningful founding conference.
