The World Prays for Hualian

Across the world, from Istanbul to Malaysia and Sichuan, people are praying for the residents of Hualian in east Taiwan, the headquarters of the Tzu Chi Foundation, after the town was hit by the worst earthquake on record on the night of February 6.

Tzu Chi Holds Distribution for 1,290 Households in Mexican City

On December 8, the Tzu Chi Foundation held a distribution of relief goods for 1,290 households in the central Mexican city of Xochimilco and a free clinic offering Western and Chinese medicine to 291 people. The recipients were all victims of a devastating earthquake that struck the country in September.

Tzu Chi Provides Aid for Harvey Flood Victims in Houston

Volunteers of the Tzu Chi Foundation in the United States and Taiwan are urgently provide aid, material and spiritual, for the victims of Typhoon Harvey which caused devastation in the southwestern American state of Texas. The number four storm reached land on August 25 and has dumped more than 1,200 millimeters of rain, a record.
