In Malaysia, Tzu Chi Cares for Residents After Floods


In early March this year, severe floods struck the southern part of Malaysia. Tzu Chi volunteers went to evacuation centers to distribute items to help people rest and regain the strength to rebuild their homes.

In Earthquake-Hit Nurdagi, Turkiye, Tzu Chi Holds First Distribution


One month has passed since a terrible earthquake devastated Turkiye and Syria on February 6. Most of the affected people are still waiting for help. On March 5, in one of the worst-hit areas, Nurdagi in Gaziantep Province in Turkiye, Tzu Chi started its first distribution of gift cards. Volunteers expect to distribute them to 7,759 households over four days, with 430 households on the first day. The victims arrived early and queued up, their hearts full of anxiety.

Tzu Chi Collaborates with Jordanian NGO to Deliver First Batch of Aid Supplies to Syria


To aid the victims of the devastating earthquake in Turkiye and Syria, Tzu Chi has not only provided supplies and care to the affected areas in Turkiye but has also actively sought ways to help Syria, which was also heavily affected. The good news is that it has recently made progress in supplying aid to Syria. Tzu Chi has cooperated with Hashemite, a charity organization in Jordan. Thanks to a donation by a Taiwanese businessman, the first batch of more than 420,000 pieces of clothing has arrived in Syria.
