Drops of Love Moisten Hearts in Lumbini, Nepal


In Nepal, many children enter the workforce after completing the 10th grade of secondary school. With no specialist skills, they rely on manual labor to earn a meager income to support their families. If they could continue their education and obtain a diploma from a college or university, they would have more job opportunities and could change their own and their family's destiny.

In Taiwan, Tzu Chi and Hotai Motor Clean Beach Together


On the early morning of April 23rd, Taitung Tzu Chi and Hotai Motor Co., Ltd. held a "Love Taiwan through Beach Cleaning and Plastic Reduction" event. The venue was the Taitung County Seashore Park in southeast Taiwan. A total of 33 participants took part, including Tzu Chi volunteers and members of the Feng Tian Junior High School basketball team. They wore gloves, held tongs and trash bags, and searched for beach waste on the sand and in the crevices of rocks. They hoped to make the east coast of Taiwan more beautiful and mark Earth Day.

Invest in our planet- Net Zero Green Living


To mark Earth Day, the Tzu Chi Foundation, Environmental Protection Administration, and Taipei City Government jointly organized the "Invest in Our Earth" event for the fifth year. On April 16th, the Zero Waste Home, Plant-based Traceless Family Day was held at Daan Forest Park in Taipei, to promote the integration of environmental action into daily life.

The Russian invasion of Ukraine has lasted for over 400 days. According to official Ukrainian statistics, the intense shelling by Russia has caused catastrophic damage to many cities, with at least 130,000 buildings destroyed and over 7,000 civilians killed.

Five Days of Sports at Schools in Lumbini, Nepal



On the sports field, children fell and got back up, continuing to run towards the finish line with great effort. Cheers and laughter filled the air below the blue sky and white clouds of Lumbini, the birthplace of the Buddha in Nepal -- even the sun came out to join the fun. Their red faces were covered in sweat and smiles, parents surprisingly turned out in large numbers.
