Tzu Chi Empowers Women Through Sewing in Lumbini, Nepal

"We are people of Lumbini, and Tzu Chi has provided assistance to Lumbini since the pandemic. Everyone has witnessed it. Let me also have the opportunity to participate and contribute to the community," said Mr. Sandanand, father of Panchakanya Chaudhary. Out of gratitude towards Tzu Chi, he selflessly lent his home space to be used as a sewing workshop for the community; this deeply moved the volunteers. They were also greatly inspired by the dedication of the sewing class students, who tirelessly worked to improve their skills.
