The Journey of Osama and Tzu Chi's Compassion in Jordan
Amidst the raging fires of conflict, little Osama Sofrajy, a seven-year-old Syrian refugee, has endured almost two years without access to proper medical care or treatment for his debilitating condition - Crohn's disease. His fragile intestines have been ravaged, rendering him unable to absorb nutrients, resulting in a shocking loss of weight to only thirteen kilograms (about 28.66 pounds). Tragically, his once nimble legs lost their ability to carry him.
Tzu Chi Brings Joy to the Elderly in Chile
"Material goods can help people, but the love you give is priceless. May God bless you and continue to protect you." The elderly person in a nursing home in Chile emotionally held the Tzu Chi volunteer, Fernanda Wu (吳惠蘭) . Years of longing and joy were evident on her face, and the embrace spoke volumes beyond words.

Tzu Chi Promotes Spirit of Bamboo Bank Era in India
Tzu Chi volunteers in Singapore and Malaysia are always busy and never waste a single moment. After an online session with Jing Si Abode in Hualien on the afternoon of July 14th, they quickly regrouped and set off again within half an hour to promote the spirit of the Bamboo Bank Era. They are based in Bodh Gaya, in Bihar province in eastern India, where the Buddha attained enlightenment.

Tzu Chi Inspires Compassionate Hotel Owner in India
"I've already arranged for someone to fix it!" On the evening of June 30th, a Tzu Chi volunteer asked Puma Sharma, owner of Hotel Star in Bodh Gaya, in Bihar, eastern India, when they could go and check on the progress of the roofing repairs for a fellow villager the next day. This was Sharma’s reply.

Tzu Chi Builds New Life for Grandmother in Mozambique
"Before, I didn't have a house to live in. Now, I finally have a warm place. I am very grateful to these young people who put aside their work to come here and help me build a house. Resilience and Compassion: Volunteers' Journey of Hope in Chile
"The city submerged in a vast expanse of water, homes already reduced to a muddy mess, the floodwaters rushing in with relentless force. The people had no time to salvage their belongings, their helplessness and despair were written all over their faces." Those affected gazed at the vastness with a sigh – these residents of Chile had just endured a prolonged drought and then witnessed their homes destroyed by wildfires, only to be followed by torrential rains.
Gratitude in Action: Tzu Chi Brings Tea Offering to India
On Tuesday, July 4th, the Volunteer Education Team from Singapore and Malaysia returned to Bakraur village in Bihar province, eastern India. They visited Senani Samaj Seva Ball Jagrup School. That day, in addition to teaching the children the Jing Si Aphorism "Be grateful at all times, in all places, for everyone and everything," they took part in a very significant activity - the art of "serving tea."

Planting Bodhi Seeds: The Joy of Doing Goodness in India
On the evening of July 3rd, in the village of Bakraur, Bodh Gaya, Bihar state in eastern India, two volunteers began singing "Bamboo Bank Song" in Hindi to promote the Bamboo Bank movement. The two were villagers Malor and Gain Manjhi, who sang with gratitude, regardless of whether the villagers were willing to participate in the Bamboo Bank initiative or not. They wished for longevity for the Bamboo Bank, good luck, and Tzu Chi.
