El Crecimiento Espiritual Requiere de un Plan

“Hace tanto que son creyentes que ya deberían estar enseñando a otros. En cambio, necesitan que alguien vuelva a enseñarles las cosas básicas de la palabra de Dios. Son como niños pequeños que necesitan leche y no pueden comer alimento sólido”.  Hebreos 5:12 (NTV)

Millones de cristianos han envejecido sin nunca haber crecido; actúan como si el crecimiento espiritual fuera automático. Pueden tener un plan para ahorrar para la jubilación. Pueden tener un plan para enviar a sus hijos a la universidad. Pero no tienen una estrategia para enriquecer sus almas. ¡Dejan al azar la faceta más importante de la existencia humana!

Pero un alma no crece automáticamente hasta la madurez, como tampoco un bebé crece automáticamente en la madurez física. ¡Tú necesitas tener un plan de alimentación, ejercicios, educación, y sobre todo el entrenamiento para ir al baño! – así el niño va a crecer sano, fuerte y maduro.

Un bebé por su cuenta se seca y muere. Lo mismo sucede con tu alma. Nuestro mundo está lleno de personas que han crecido, pero que aún son bebés cuando se trata de madurez espiritual.

El crecimiento espiritual no es automático, ni siquiera para las personas que han abierto sus corazones a Cristo. El escritor de Hebreos tristemente lo notó: “Hace tanto que son creyentes que ya deberían estar enseñando a otros. En cambio, necesitan que alguien vuelva a enseñarles las cosas básicas de la palabra de Dios. Son como niños pequeños que necesitan leche y no pueden comer alimento sólido. Pues el que se alimenta de leche sigue siendo bebé y no sabe cómo hacer lo correcto. El alimento sólido es para los que son maduros, los que a fuerza de práctica están capacitados para distinguir entre lo bueno y lo malo” Hebreos 5:12-14 (NTV).

El crecimiento espiritual no sucede porque sí. ¡Tienes que tener un plan!

When It Comes to Your Goals, Be Specific

“Swear by the LORD, the God of heaven and earth, that you will not allow my son to marry one of these local Canaanite women. Go instead to my homeland, to my relatives, and find a wife there for my son Isaac.”

Genesis 24:3-4 (NLT)

Eleazar’s example is a roadmap for how to succeed in reaching your goals.

In Genesis 24, you can find nine steps to success in the story of Abraham, Isaac, Eleazar, and Rebekah. In the last devotional, we looked at the first of those steps: Determine your present position.

The second step in getting where you want to be is to describe exactly what you want.

Vague goals are never accomplished. When you are specific, you figure out not only what you want but also what you don’t want.

Abraham was very specific in the task he set before Eleazar. Genesis 24:3-4 says, “Swear by the LORD, the God of heaven and earth, that you will not allow my son to marry one of these local Canaanite women. Go instead to my homeland, to my relatives, and find a wife there for my son Isaac” (NLT).

Do you have a dream for your life? Ask yourself: What do I want to be or do or have? Why do I want it? 

Don’t ask how. We’re always so concerned about the how. How am I going to do it? How am I going to pay for it?  How am I going to find the time?

In life, never confuse the decision-making phase with the problem-solving phase. Most people try to solve all the problems before they set their goal. Bad idea. If you try to solve every problem first, you’ll never move forward.

God says you need to ask why first, not how.

Knowing what is not enough. You can set all kinds of goals, but if you don’t know the why, you’re never going to achieve them. The why keeps you from giving up when times get tough. It’s when you know the why that God shows you how.

During my time as pastor of Saddleback Church, we set enormous goals for our church in every decade. And every time we set those goals, we had no idea how we were going to accomplish them. But that was okay, because God showed us how as we moved forward, once we knew why we were doing it. And he was always faithful to help us succeed.

Ask God to help you clarify what you want to be or do or have in life. Then take the time to figure out why you want it. And be specific.

Talk It Over

Have you ever chased a vague goal? (Maybe you said, “I’d like to get healthier” or “I’d like to save more money.”) How did that turn out for you?
Have you ever chased a specific goal? (Following the example above, maybe you said, “I want to exercise five days a week and lose 10 pounds over the next two months” or “I’d like to save $100 extra per month.”) How did that turn out for you?
Think of the goal you have in mind right now. What is your why for accomplishing that goal?

Where will you spend eternity?

Your sins separate you from God. And it is only God’s grace that allows you back into a right relationship with him.

The Bible says, “It is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9 NIV).


If you’re ready to make peace with your Creator, then pray this prayer:

“Dear Jesus, I don’t want my sin to separate me from you any longer. You have promised that if I believe in you, everything I’ve ever done wrong will be forgiven, I will learn the purpose of my life, and you will accept me into your eternal home in heaven one day.

“I confess my sin, and I believe you are my Savior. You have promised that if I confess my sin and trust you, I will be saved. I believe you when you say salvation comes by grace, through faith, and not by anything I do. I receive you into my life as my Lord. Today, I’m turning over every part of my life to your management.

“I want to live the way you created me to live and use the rest of my life to serve you instead of serving myself. I commit my life to you and ask you to save me and accept me into your family. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.”

Para Amar Bien Requiere que estés Espiritualmente en Forma

“El amor acepta todo con paciencia. Siempre confía. Nunca pierde la esperanza. Todo lo soporta. El amor no tiene fin”.  1 Corintios 13:7-8a (PDT)

No puedes amar a las personas en la forma que Dios te ama sin el poder de Dios en tu vida, porque el amor humano se termina.

Pero si sientes que nada vale la pena, la vida parece ser inútil o sin propósito, o te encuentras culpando a Dios por tus problemas. Estas son señales de alerta de desgaste espiritual. No puedes amar bien cuando estás desgastado espiritualmente.

La Biblia dice en 1 Timoteo 4:7 “Más bien, ejercítate en la piedad” (NVI) ¿Cómo te mantienes espiritualmente en forma para que puedas amar a las personas? Al construir hábitos en tu vida que te mantengan espiritualmente renovado.

Aquí tienes tres hábitos con los que puedes comenzar:

Un tiempo devocional. “Por tanto, no nos desanimamos. Al contrario, aunque por fuera nos vamos desgastando, por dentro nos vamos renovando día tras día” 2 Corintios 4:16 (NVI). Externamente nuestro cuerpo sufre desgaste, pero internamente podemos ser renovados espiritualmente cada día, teniendo un tiempo a solas con Dios.

No sé qué puede ayudarte más en tu vida que comenzar el hábito de tener un tiempo devocional con Dios. Comienza con sólo 10 minutos al día. Encuentra un lugar donde puedas estar solo: El auto, tu habitación o la sala, el patio, o aún en tu oficina. Entonces elige un libro de la Biblia, y lee un capítulo al día. Léelo, piensa en lo que has leído, tal vez quieras tomar algunas anotaciones. Ese es un hábito que te mantendrá renovado espiritualmente.

Grupo Pequeño. Un cristiano sin un grupo pequeño es como un huérfano. ¡Necesitas un grupo pequeño! La Biblia dice, “anímense unos a otros cada día” Hebreos 3:13a (NVI). Necesitas estar en un grupo pequeño al menos una vez por semana donde puedas compartir necesidades y problemas, orar unos por otros, y desarrollar amistades.

Adoración. Adorar renueva y rejuvenece. Construye. El Salmo 59:16 dice “Pero yo le cantaré a tu poder, y por la mañana alabaré tu amor; porque tú eres mi protector, mi refugio en momentos de angustia” (NVI). Necesitas la liberación emocional y recarga de baterías que vienen al cantar. Pon algo de música cristiana y canta. Entonces, ¡observa como Dios restaura tu alma!

A Focused Life Is a Powerful Life

“Go instead to my homeland, to my relatives, and find a wife there for my son Isaac.”

Genesis 24:4 (NLT)

There is nothing more powerful than a focused life. It’s kind of like light. Light that is unfocused and diffused has no power. But if you focus it with a magnifying glass, you can use it to start a fire. If you focus light even more, it becomes a laser that can cut through steel and kill cancer.

Your life is like that. The more focused your life is, the more impact it will have and the more success you will have in reaching your goals.

The classic chapter in the Bible on success is Genesis 24. It’s the story of Abraham, Eleazar, Isaac, and Rebekah, and we’re going to learn from their story over the next several days.

God had promised Abraham that he would be the father of a great nation, but Abraham had grown old, and his son Isaac still hadn’t married or had children. Abraham began to wonder how he would have a great nation without any grandchildren. So he made a plan.

He told his servant, Eleazar, “Go instead to my homeland, to my relatives, and find a wife there for my son Isaac” (Genesis 24:4 NLT).

You might be thinking, “What in the world does this have to do with me?” Well, I’ll tell you. This happened thousands of years ago, but it has enormous implications for you today. Do you have a goal to fulfill, a dream to reach, or a vision you want to become reality? Eleazar’s example will give you the steps to get there.

Eleazar’s life became focused when Abraham told him to go find a wife for Isaac. Once you, too, decide to focus your life, what specifically do you do next? Where do you begin in chasing a big goal? 

Step one in fulfilling a dream is to determine your present position. To do that, you need to ask yourself these two important questions: Where am I now? and What do I want to change?

Think of it this way. If I were coming to see you, I’d say, “How do I get there?” and you’d reply, “Where are you now?”

You can’t figure out where you want to go until you know where you already are. You’ve got to know your present position. Along with that, you’ve got to assess your current condition. Like Abraham, you have to decide what you’d like to change. 

Determining our present position is the first step in the journey toward a focused life, toward success in the dreams you have for your life.

If you’re serious about chasing a dream God has given you, you might pray this:

God, give me wisdom to see what changes need to be made in my life. May the rest of my life be the best of my life. You say it’s up to me; I get a choice. You’re teaching me what to do. I don’t want to drift. I want to have direction. Help me to learn how to focus my life to fulfill the dreams you’ve given me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Cuando estás Agotado, no puedes Amar Bien

“El que ama es capaz de aguantarlo todo, de creerlo todo, de esperarlo todo, de soportarlo todo”.  1 Corintios 13:7 (TLA)

¿Alguna vez te has sentido como si no tuvieras más amor para dar?

El amor es agotador. Es trabajo amar de verdad. La mayoría de las personas no entienden que su condición física tiene un fuerte impacto en sus relaciones y la capacidad de amar.

Se necesita energía física para escuchar a las personas, para poner sus necesidades en primer lugar. ¿Alguna vez has tratado de aparentar como si estuvieras interesado en tu hijo cuando estás muerto de cansancio? No estás escuchando porque se necesita energía para escuchar.

¿Qué sucede con tus relaciones cuando estás agotado? Los pequeños problemas se convierten en grandes problemas cuando estás cansado. Estas malhumorado, a la defensiva y crítico cuando estás físicamente cansado. Los lunes por la mañana normalmente estoy agotado, así que mi familia sabe que papi esta irritable hasta que tomo mi siesta del lunes, entonces regreso a mi estado normal, sensible y compasivo. No es un problema espiritual. ¡Solo estoy cansado!

¿Cuáles son algunos hábitos que te refrescan físicamente? La Biblia está llena de ellos. Éstos son algunos:

Descanso. “Es inútil que te esfuerces tanto, desde temprano en la mañana hasta tarde en la noche, y te preocupes por conseguir alimento; porque Dios da descanso a sus amados” Salmos 127:2 (NTV). El descanso es tan importante que Dios lo puso en los Diez Mandamientos: Cada séptimo día, debes descansar. Si no estás tomando un día libre cada semana, estás rompiendo uno de sus mandamientos.

A veces lo más espiritual que puedes hacer es descansar un poco. ¡Es increíble lo bien que podemos hacer todo después de una buena noche de descanso!

Dieta Balanceada.  “Tú me hiciste; me creaste. Ahora dame la sensatez de seguir tus mandatos” Salmos 119:73 (NTV). Es muy obvio, pero la elección de frutas y verduras sobre pasabocas y galletas nos dará más energía. Sabemos qué hacer. Sólo tenemos que hacerlo.

Ejercicio Regular.  “Honren a Dios con su cuerpo” 1 Corintios 6:20b (NTV). Nuestros cuerpos fueron hechos para la actividad. En tiempos bíblicos no tenían que hacer ejercicio porque caminaban por todas partes y hacían el trabajo físico. Pero hoy en día, en nuestra cultura sedentaria, realmente solo tienes dos opciones: estar fatigado o estar apto físicamente. Si tú eliges la aptitud, implica que harás ejercicio permanentemente.   

Reflexiona sobre esto:

¿Por qué tus emociones afectan tan fuertemente la cantidad de energía física que tienes y viceversa?¿Cómo puedes crear un buen hábito en tu vida para que descanses más?Piensa en algunas maneras en las que tú y tu familia pueden mejorar juntos. ¿Por qué se mejora la salud más fácilmente en compañía de otras personas?Si todavía no has confiado en Jesús y no te has comprometido a seguirlo, ¿por qué esperar más? God Blesses Your Life When You Study His Word

“But if you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says and don’t forget what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it.”

James 1:25 (NLT)

If you want to know what God wants for your life, you’ll find the answer in the Bible. The Word of God is central to his will, and studying the Bible opens the door to incredible blessings.

The Bible says: “Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither—whatever they do prospers” (Psalm 1:1–3 NIV).

Biblical meditation isn’t about sitting silently or chanting, “Ommmmmm.” It’s about serious reflection. It involves reading a verse and then asking:

What does this really mean?How can I apply this to my life?How can I live this out daily—at work or at home?

Meditating on God’s Word means taking time to think deeply about it and allowing it to shape your actions and decisions.

James gives us a clear process for this reflection: “But if you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says and don’t forget what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it” (James 1:25 NLT).

If you want God’s blessings, James outlines four steps:

Look intently—Study the Bible deeply.Continue to do it—Stay consistent in your study.Don’t forget it—Remember what you’ve learned.Do it—Apply it to your life.

Looking intently means more than a casual read—it’s about digging into the Word. Not forgetting means committing it to memory. This is why we take notes during sermons. Research shows we forget 95 percent of what we hear within 72 hours. Writing things down helps us remember and apply God’s truth.

The Bible emphasizes this: Don’t just hear the Word—live it.

By studying, remembering, and applying God’s Word, you’ll experience the abundant blessings he has in store for your life. Whatever you do will prosper when you align your life with his Word.

Recárgate Emocionalmente para Amar

“Y como no tenían tiempo ni para comer, pues era tanta la gente que iba y venía, Jesús les dijo: —Vengan conmigo ustedes solos a un lugar tranquilo y descansen un poco”.   Marcos 6:31 (NVI)

Cuando tu tanque emocional está vacío, no estás capacitado para seguir amando a las personas. ¡Te rindes! Estás abrumado y te sientes insuficiente. Tiendes a enojarte con los que más amas. Tratas de evitar a las personas, y los ves como si fueran problemas. Sueñas con escapar. David tuvo ese problema. Él dijo, Si tan solo tuviera alas como una paloma, ¡me iría volando y descansaría!  Salmos 55:6 (NTV).

Para seguir amando a las personas, tienes que mantener tu tanque emocional lleno, porque cuando está vacío, esto hará una diferencia en tus relaciones.

La Biblia nos da tres sugerencias para recargarnos emocionalmente.

Quietud. Necesitas un tiempo diario a solas con Dios. El versículo de hoy nos dice que Jesús frecuentemente se alejaba de la multitud, cuando Él necesitaba recargarse emocionalmente. En este caso, había tanto ajetreo y bullicio, que Jesús dijo a los discípulos que se “separaran” por un tiempo. “Y como no tenían tiempo ni para comer, pues era tanta la gente que iba y venía, Jesús les dijo: —Vengan conmigo ustedes solos a un lugar tranquilo y descansen un poco” Marcos 6:31 (NVI). También necesitas separarte, necesitas un momento de quietud.

Recreación. Hay ciertas cosas que recrean la energía y el entusiasmo en la vida. Pueden ser ciertos pasatiempos, un deporte, un juego. Experiméntalo, encuentra qué es lo que te recarga emocionalmente. Y saca tiempo para eso.

Uno de mis versículos favoritos dice, “El Hijo del Hombre, por su parte, festeja” Mateo 11:19 (NTV).

Jesús fue la persona más apasionada y animada en el ministerio que jamás haya vivido en este mundo y disfrutó de la vida. Cualquiera que sea tu trabajo, cuando das a otros eso es lo que más cuesta y agota. Necesitas tiempo para jugar.

Reírse. “El corazón alegre es una buena medicina” Proverbios 17:22a (NTV). Los estudios demuestran que cuando reímos se incrementan el número de células-T, y esto eleva tu nivel de inmunidad, que produce endorfinas en tu cerebro. ¡El humor tiene efectos beneficiosos!

Dios nos ha dado el don de la risa, y necesitamos aprender a reír. He hablado con parejas que tenían graves conflictos en su matrimonio. Ellos decían: “Algún día veremos esto y reiremos”. Yo digo, “¿Por qué esperar? ¿Por qué no sólo reírse de esas cosas ahora mismo?” La risa es un cargador de baterías, un cargador emocional, y un reconstructor de amor.

Reflexiona sobre esto: 

¿Qué tienes que cambiar en tu horario o rutina para que puedas experimentar la quietud o un tiempo diario a solas con Dios de forma consistente?¿Qué tipo de recreación te da más energía? ¿Cómo puedes hacer que esto sea una parte básica de tu vida?¿De qué maneras puedes modelar un estilo de vida alegre para tu familia?Si todavía no has confiado en Jesús y no te has comprometido a seguirlo, ¿por qué esperar más? Give God Your Best Time Each Day

“Blessed are those who listen to me, watching daily at my doors, waiting at my doorway.”

Proverbs 8:34 (NIV)

God promises to bless your life when you spend time with him each day.

This means setting aside time every day to meet with God—what is often called a quiet time. It could be five, 10, or 15 minutes where you focus on being with God.

Find a quiet place, sit still, and ask, “God, is there anything you want to say to me?” Talk to him about the worries on your mind and the things that weigh on your heart. Spend a few moments reading the Bible and let him speak to you through his Word. Be still, listen for his guidance, and prepare for the day ahead.

For most people, mornings are the best time for this. When you wake up, make God the first person you talk to. But if mornings don’t work for you, find a time that does. If you’re not fully awake in the morning, don’t force it. Choose a time when you’re at your best—whether that’s at night, during a lunch break, or another quiet moment in your day. The key is consistency. Set a daily appointment with God.

Proverbs 8:34 says: “Blessed are those who listen to me, watching daily at my doors, waiting at my doorway” (NIV).

Every great believer throughout history—every person who has experienced God’s richest blessings—has made it a habit to spend time with him each day. It doesn’t need to take long; the important thing is to check in with God.

Psalm 31:19 reminds us: “How great is the goodness you have stored up for those who fear you. You lavish it on those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world” (NLT).

When you give God the first part of your life—your time—he blesses you in ways that overflow into every area of your life.

God wants you in his forever family.

God made you to love you, and one of the places you see that most clearly is on the cross. Through Jesus’ death and resurrection, God made it possible for you to become part of his family for eternity.

No matter what you’ve done or where you’ve been, you’ve got a place in God’s forever family ready and waiting for you. The invitation is wide open. You only need to believe and receive.

Confess your sins and ask God to forgive you. Claim the promise of his grace through Jesus Christ, that salvation is free and open to anyone who turns from their sins and agrees to follow Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Humbly ask God to accept you into his forever family.

Are you ready? Then pray this simple prayer: “Dear God, I know when I die, I’m going to give an account of my life to you. I know I have sinned against you, and I have lived by my plan, not yours. I want that to change, starting right now. I want to turn away from my sins and toward you.

“Thank you for sending Jesus to die for all that I’ve done wrong so that I don’t have to pay the penalty. I know I don’t deserve your forgiveness. I know it is only by your grace that I can be saved.

“Jesus, thank you for loving me so much that you took all my guilt on yourself. You paid for my sins and made me acceptable for heaven, and I accept you as my Lord and Savior. And I believe you will keep your promise to save me instantly, and certainly, and completely, and eternally. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.”

Ser como Jesús es un Proceso Lento

“Este trabajo debe continuar hasta… convertirnos en gente madura, vernos tal como Cristo y tener toda su perfección”.  Efesios 4:13 (PDT)

Ser como Cristo, es un proceso de crecimiento, largo y lento. La madurez espiritual no es ni instantánea ni automática; es un desarrollo gradual, progresivo que tomará el resto de tu vida.

Refiriéndose a este proceso, Pablo dijo, “Este trabajo debe continuar hasta… convertirnos en gente madura, vernos tal como Cristo y tener toda su perfección” Efesios 4:13 (PDT).

Es un trabajo progresivo. Tu transformación espiritual para desarrollar el carácter de Jesús tomará el resto de tu vida, y aun así, no se termina aquí en la tierra. Se terminará sólo cuando llegues al cielo o cuando Jesús regrese.

En ese momento, cualquier trabajo en tu carácter que esté sin terminar, será terminado. La Biblia dice que cuando seamos finalmente capaces de ver a Jesús perfectamente, nos convertiremos perfectamente en como Él es: “Queridos amigos, ya somos hijos de Dios, pero él todavía no nos ha mostrado lo que seremos cuando Cristo venga; pero sí sabemos que seremos como él, porque lo veremos tal como él es”  1 Juan 3:2 (NTV).

Mucha confusión en la vida cristiana viene de ignorar la simple verdad de que Dios está más interesado en desarrollar nuestro carácter, que en otra cosa. Nos preocupamos cuando Dios parece estar silencioso sobre temas específicos tales como “¿Qué carrera debo elegir?”.

La verdad es que hay muchas carreras que podrían estar en la voluntad de Dios para tu vida. Lo que a Dios más le interesa es que lo que sea que hagas, lo hagas de una manera semejante a Cristo (1 Corintios 10:31; 1 Corintios 16:14; Colosenses 3:17, 23).

Dios está mucho más interesado en quien eres que en lo que haces. Somos seres humanos, no hacedores humanos. Dios está mucho más preocupado por tu carácter, que por tu carrera, porque te vas a llevar tu carácter a la eternidad, no tu carrera.

El propósito de Dios es hacernos como Él antes de que Él nos lleve al cielo. Este es nuestro mayor privilegio, nuestra responsabilidad inmediata y nuestro propósito final.

Reflexiona sobre esto:  

¿Qué pregunta le has estado haciendo últimamente a Dios, que necesitas reemplazar con la pregunta, “¿Qué me está enseñando Dios acerca de Sí mismo a través de este proceso?”.¿Cuentas el proceso de santificación como un privilegio? ¿Por qué o por qué no?¿Qué necesitas hacer para ser la persona que quieres ser, para presentarte un día ante Jesús?Si todavía no has confiado en Jesús y no te has comprometido a seguirlo, ¿por qué esperar más? Obedience Leads to Blessings

“You will experience all these blessings if you obey the LORD your God. . . . Wherever you go and whatever you do, you will be blessed.”

Deuteronomy 28:2, 6 (NLT)

God promises to bless your life, but there’s a condition: You must follow his instructions. The promises and blessings of God aren’t automatic—they come with conditions.

The Bible contains over 7,000 promises where God essentially says, “If you do this, I will do this.” For example:

If you confess your sins, I will forgive you.If you call upon me, I will save you.If you obey me, I will bless you.

When you feel like you’re waiting on God, in reality, he may be waiting on you to meet his conditions so he can bless you in ways beyond your imagination.

Take Deuteronomy 28:2-6 as an example. Notice the blessings and the condition: 

“You will experience all these blessings if you obey the LORD your God: Your towns and your fields will be blessed. Your children and your crops will be blessed. The offspring of your herds and flocks will be blessed. Your fruit baskets and breadboards will be blessed. Wherever you go and whatever you do, you will be blessed.” (NLT)

Even though you may not have fields or flocks, this promise still applies to the circumstances of your life. God will bless your family and your work as he provides for your daily needs.

God not only want to bless everything you do, but he also wants to bless you in ways that other people can see. His blessings become a testimony to his goodness.

Psalm 31:19 says, “How great is your goodness, which you have stored up for those who fear you. In the presence of everyone you have acted for those who take refuge in you.” (CSB)

God already has blessings stored up for you; he’s planned what he wants to give you. But these blessings aren’t automatic. If you miss the conditions, you could miss out on how he wants to bless you. Why? Because God’s blessings are for those who honor him and do the things he asks you to do.

As Ezekiel 34:26 says: “I will make them and the places surrounding my hill a blessing. I will send down showers in season; there will be showers of blessing.” (NIV)

Don’t you want God’s showers of blessing? Don’t miss out on what he wants to do in your life. Follow his directions and watch him fulfill his promises.
