I gasped when strong. arms wrapped around me from behind. Then I melted when he buried his face in my neck. Jared spun me around and pressed me up against the cool metal of my car door. His hands were on my face, in my hair, slipping down my sides before he brought them back up to force me to look at him. “Thank you.” Desperation poured from him, his hold increasing as he stared down at the shock I felt lining my face. “Thank you for fucking believing in me, Aly. For getting me.”

She grinned at his playfulness. “I don’t know you well enough to speak on your business habits, but I think I should tell you now, I don’t mix business with pleasure.”
Jon pushed open the first set of doors and stopped in the enclosed space that separated the outside from in. He slipped his arm around her waist and pulled her closer. “Am I to take that as an invitation to give you pleasure?”
Patti’s chest heaved with her shortened breaths. She became increasingly aware of how close they were, of the heat emanating from everywhere their bodies touched. “You can give me anything you want,” she whispered.

Patti squealed in surprise when Jon bent low, grabbing her around the knees, and hefting her over his shoulder. The next thing she knew, she was bobbing up and down as he burst through the doors and raced across the parking lot.

A Risk Worth Taking is a great story of family, heart break, love, finding yourself, and just enjoying the journey. I loved all of the characters, especially Casey! He was the perfect “big brother” and played a huge part in Ford and Summer’s journey. If it wasn’t for the “To Do Before We’re Grown-Ups” list, who knows what would’ve happened. We all want to be happy in life, but sometimes you’ve got to ask yourself, is love a risk worth taking?

SJ Molloy, first time British Author of ‘The Luminara Series’ was born in Edinburgh, Scotland. As a young child, her family moved and raised her in Lanarkshire, Scotland where she currently resides with her husband, two daughters and her energetic, hyperactive loving gun dog who is utterly spoiled.
SJ is a qualified Fitness Instructor and Health & Fitness Motivator of various fitness styles and disciplines. Music and dance aerobics have always been a pleasure and passion for her. Both Callie & Kayden find closure, but it’s not in the way most would think. In fact, I have to say that I gained a lot of respect for Jackson, Callie’s brother. On the other hand, Kayden’s parents respect factor is in the negative…. like big time! (Even though it was already there!)
The Redemption of Callie & Kayden will warm your heart, break it, piece it back together, wrap duct tape around it (because it holds anything together,) and watch it grow into a beautiful, beating heart!
