krondr 's winning bid of $55 goes to help the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, a terrific cause. And now I get to write about Tyler and Jackson from "While Wearing Jeans," which I've wanted to do all along anyway. Everybody wins!

Folks, we are in the middle of an all-out bidding war. Trying to help Ellie to raise money to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, krondr and dianna_luv2read are going toe-to-toe!

Storm puppy update

Someone trained the storm puppy before he ever found me. He's only ever had two accidents. The first was the first day or so that I had him, before we'd really established a relationship, before he really understood what was going on. The second was also in the early days. I blame myself, because he was sick but I didn't realize it, and I was distracted watching a terrible movie, and he snuck into another room and exploded all over the carpet.

So there's this organization called the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), which raises money to cure leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma. That includes money for research, financial assistance to patients, educational materials, family support groups, etc. They receive no federal funding, so it's up to us.
