Synopsis

Lucy Varna lives in Georgia surrounded by her large, extended family. She dreamed up the world of the People in 2009 and wrote the first novel in her Daughters of the People series, The Prophecy, in November 2013.
The Daughters are based on a mythology Lucy created to explain the origins of the Amazons of Greek legends. The original Daughters of the People series will consist of seven novels, with two interstitial novels and other stories published on an irregular basis.

A deep masculine voice broke into her reverie. “May I buy you a drink? I saw you at the pool earlier. Not only are you beautiful, but you look like you’d be fun to talk to.”
She bit back a smile as she realized why Peter and Colin had disappeared. Those two are just too much. Olivia turned to see the drool-worthy man standing so close she could reach out and touch him. Wavy reddish-brown hair framed a chiseled face. Sexy dimples accented his full lips. A white scar marred the tanned skin above one of his thick eyebrows. His yellow-flecked emerald eyes were nothing short of mesmerizing. He wore a worn Stanford University T-shirt and faded jeans that hugged muscular thighs and an obviously more-than-adequate package. I can’t believe you just thought that. Her voice caught in her throat and for a moment she forgot to breathe.
Despite the fact that his attire contradicted the five star hotel dress code; every item he’d chosen to wear suited him perfectly. A suit or a tie would have ruined his signature look, which was breathtakingly masculine.
She realized she’d gawked too long when he crossed his muscular arms over his chest.“Oh, yes, of course, have a seat.” Olivia waved a trembling hand in his direction.
“Thank you.” He extended his hand toward her, initiating a handshake. “I’m Darryl Jennings.”
Remaining seated so she wouldn’t look too eager, she fidgeted and reached for his hand. “Olivia Simpson.” She hoped he didn’t detect the nervous tremor in her voice. His fingers laced firmly through hers and he seemed in no hurry to let go. Warm tingles raced up her arm. The sudden attraction astounded her, but then she brushed it off as inevitable. Any woman would go wild for him. The man was so hot; he could melt chocolate. Hell, her hand felt like it was about to melt and drip onto the floor.

Sabrina Devonshire, an avid swimmer most of her life, can usually be found near or immersed in a body of water. If she's not seeking an endorphin rush in a pool, lake or ocean, she's often encouraging people to work out or writing a romantic suspense or magazine article.
She received a John Woods Scholarship and an Arizona Commission of the Arts Professional Development Grant toward her participation in a 2007 Prague Summer Program writing workshop. She also studied writing in Arizona and northern California and has a M.S. degree from the University of Arizona.
Sabrina loves traveling to off-the-beaten-path places where phones and electronic devices tend not to work well. Peru and Belize are two of her favorites. Sabrina lives in southern Arizona with her husband, two children, and fluffy dog, Sugar.

1. What can we expect with the continuation of Liv and Calum’s story?
Nyddi: Oh man. It’s totally different from book one yet it’s makes perfect sense that their story is now heading in the direction it’s heading. Calum began discovering a whole new side to himself in book one, but it was still so simple and so “Sweet” almost. In this book, things get crazier, darker, more dramatic. Liv is dealing with her relationship phobias/issues as well as her feelings for Calum. Calum is dealing with an utter lack of control because of her that he’s never dealt with before, and they’re both absolutely clueless as to how to deal with what’s happening.
2. Why the new direction?
Nyddi: I think it was always meant to be. When I wrote the first book, Calum’s personality developed on its own and he was so much more in control at first than any male I had ever written. He wasn’t an innocent, but he definitely wasn’t as wild as the men I usually write. At least, not that he was aware of. But I remember writing the scene when he first saw Livana, and his visceral reaction to her, and I felt that dominating “I’m going to pull your hair and own you” part of him awakening and I sensed his panic at that. He truly does not know how to accept this new side of him at first, especially when faced with such an independent woman such as Liv, who seems to sometimes not care whether she has him or not. As for Livana, I truly think some people might not like her at first. This book is in her POV, and we get a front row seat to her mindset. She was hurt and betrayed in the worse way and she was really, really young when it happened. When you get hurt that bad at such a young age, you erect these faulty defense mechanisms in order to protect yourself from it happening ever again. Liv now has to deal with Calum tearing down each of those defenses one by one, although she’s nowhere near ready to trust anyone again.
3. How does this book tie in to what will be book 3 of your Allure series?
Nyddi: Well, the two series are tied together anyway, and they all are leading to my Obsessions Series (Angelina and Lucas). This book ties in because many of the events are happening during book two of Allure (Allure Magnified) and there are events at the end of this book that will be occurring during the beginning of Wrecked Allure, which will be the third and last installment of the Allure series. And I will say no more on the matter! LOL I don’t want to give away too many spoilers :p
4. Tell us about the sex scenes. Calum is slowly losing more and more control when it comes to Liv, and we’re dying to know how this translates in the bedroom ^_~
Nyddi: Who said anything about a bedroom? *Runs to check* Yup. I don’t think there’s a single love scene in this book that takes place anywhere near a bed…although, if you count his couch, then yeah, it was “near”. Then again, his house is really big LOL Calum is exploring all these crazy new urges he has because of Livana, so trust me when I say that the new, upgraded Calum 2.0 is going to definitely rock her world. I’m barely surviving writing him!
5. What else are you working on now and what can we expect from you in the future?
Nyddi: The project I’m most immersed in, aside from CF, is Need. I’m writing that book with K.I. Lynn and OMG. I’ve already predicted that it will break me once we’re done writing it. It’s turned into one of the most emotional, fun, frustrating rollercoaster rides of my career. We’re almost at the halfway point and I have to say that I have never been prouder of something I’ve worked on before. Bringing an alpha male to life alongside K.I. Lynn is exhilarating, hormonally painful, and spiritual all at once LOL! (I really, really mean this.) I am so excited for us to get this one done so we can show it off to the world. After Need is finished I have the following books in the cue to be written and published in 2014/2015: Wrecked Allure (Allure #3) Blood Drenched Conquest (Szolites #3) Systematic Seige: Provocative Tendencies (SSPT Episode #1) Broken Headboard, Power Panties, & Penis Charms (Broken Headboards #1) Damage Owed (Retaliations #2) Systematic Seige: Provocative Tendencies (SSPT Episode #2) The Exchange Part 2 (Project Sapphire #2) And these are only the ones I'm allowed to announce so far! So yes. The next year or so will be the busiest year of my life. But I wouldn’t change it for the world. Thank you so much to all my fans that keep pushing me and keep me going. I could never live without your support and I go to sleep and wake up in the morning with the drive to write faster because of you <3

N. Isabelle Blanco was born in Queens, NY (USA). At the age of three, due to an odd fascination with studying her mother’s handwriting, she began to read and write. By the time she’d reached kindergarten, she had an extensive vocabulary and her obsession with words began to bleed into every aspect of her life. An avid reader in her teens, her fascination with Japanese anime eventually led her to the universe of fan fiction, which became her on-again, off-again hobby for the next ten years. During that time she amassed a following of fans that, by her own admission, she would never be able to live without. It was those fans who encouraged her to step beyond the fan fiction realm and try her talent in the publishing world. N. Do you like dogs or cats?I like them both but I'm definitely a cat person. We moved to Wales last year with our tent and 3 cats and by the time we moved into our house 10 weeks later, we had acquired a fourth, Flibberty Jibbet, Jibby for short.
If you were a tree, what would you be?I would be a beech tree. She's the queen of the forest and her broad, leafy canopy provides a great home for birds, especially owls and woodpeckers. Beech nuts provide food for humans and animals and her flower remedy enhances sympathy and tolerance.
Describe yourself: what do you think about yourself and do you think people perceive you in the same way?I'm honest, empathetic and loyal. I try to be organised but often my mind wanders, caught up in stories and ideas. Fearsome and fiery when roused, especially to protect my children, I can also be shy, often feeling like a fish out of water among strangers.I'm not sure how others perceive me...you'd have to ask them!
What kind of music do you like?To play? Beethoven piano musicTo listen? Kula Shaker, Touch the Earth, Medieval Babes, Gomez, High LlamasTo dance? African tribal, Flamenco, Indian
Which is your most cherished childhood memory?Hand in hand with my dad, yellow bucket in my other hand, picking my way between the rock pools while dad found tiny crabs to go in my bucket.
Which is your favourite place on earth?I've recently discovered a beach near us called Cae Bach...stunning, peaceful and exhilarating all in one go!

About the Author:
Wendy Steele lives on a hillside in Wales. She can see the mountains from a place on her land where one day, she'll build a straw bale writing room. She worked in the City, BC (Before Children) but since 1999 has indulged her creative side, training in natural therapies, belly dance and writing. Publication of dance articles led to writing courses, and summer school, producing her first novel 'Destiny of Angels – First book in the Lilith Trilogy.' In 2012 she published her first non-fiction title ' Wendy Woo's Year – A Pocketful of Smiles', as well as two short story anthologies and an erotic accompaniment to the Lilith Trilogy 'Too Hot for Angels'.With the second book in the Lilith Trilogy, 'Wrath of Angels' now published, writing has commenced on the third book 'Angels and Demons'. Wendy lives with her partner, Mike and four cats and when not writing, she likes to spend her days renovating her house, teaching dance, clearing her land and, when time and weather allows, sitting on her riverbank, breathing in the beauty of nature.
