Shannon drew the curtain and I found myself trapped in the room, with only Madame Elizabeth as my company for the next God knew how long. I glanced at the woman sitting behind a round table covered with a velvet cloth. A stack of harmless looking cards lay in front of her. “Hello, young man,” she greeted with an elaborate flair of her hand. “Have a seat.”I retuned her greeting with a tight smile then, with great reluctance, sank into the chair opposite her. To begin with, I had no idea what the heck this tarot and psychic crap was all about, except the possibility of predicting one’s luck or discovering what might happen in the future. Remaining silent, I rested my clammy palms on my thighs.“So, what are you looking to see? Love, adventure . . . perhaps happiness?” she queried, spreading the colorful cards across the table in a single sweep. The cards fanned across the surface like fallen dominoes. In perfect sync.“I do—don’t know,” I stammered. A jerk shot through my tight shoulders before I could stop it. Madame Elizabeth’s gaze met mine for a brief moment. Although her eyes were hidden underneath red-rimmed glasses, it was obvious she saw my discomfort, and it put me on the defensive. The woman was stunning in a disturbing way. It felt like she could see right through me, as if she knew my secrets, and that in itself was disconcerting. I studied her while she perused the cards. Her hair was tied in a loose bun on top of her head and she wore a magician type tunic which reminded me of mystical characters. I had the urge to roll my eyes when she began playing the part, momentarily closing her eyes and breathing deep. Hands splayed on the cards, she caressed each one before she finally collected the stack. Shuffling the cards once, she then laid a few back down on the table with quick and precise movements. About the Author

Lorenz Font discovered her love of writing after reading a celebrated novel that inspired one idea after another. She is currently enjoying the buzz from her vampire novels Hunted and Tormented, the first and second book of The Gates Legacy trilogy, Indivisible Line, a romantic thriller, and Feather Light, an erotic romance.

Lorenz’s perfect day consists of writing and lounging on her garage couch, aka the office, with a glass of her favorite cabernet while listening to her ever-growing music collection. She enjoys dabbling in different genres, with an intense focus on angst and the redemption of flawed characters. Her fascination with romantic twists is a mainstay in all her stories.

Lorenz lives in California with her husband, children, and two demanding dogs. She divides her time between her full-time job as a hospital office manager and her busy writing schedule.

I am a mother to two young children, who in turn keep me young. I live in Dublin, Ireland but, I’m originally from South Devon in the UK. I work full time in a pharmacy and write in all my spare time: in my lunch hour, when watching TV at night and anywhere the urge takes me.I have always been interested in reading from a young age and then 2 years ago I was given a kindle as a present and it was the best thing that happened to me. I was able to read lots of books ever week and then I started to write reviews for all the books I read.
I took this one step further and started my own facebook page – Sparkling Pink Bookshelf. I intended to upload all of my reviews for the books I read. This was purely for pleasure and then I answered a post on facebook for someone to read for reviews and thought I had died and gone to heaven. I was reading about 7/8 books a week, the kindle made this achievable. I would read at any opportunity I could, even staying up til the small hours to finish a book. I loved it.Then one day I was asked to beta read a book – I loved this side of it, it was so exciting. I have worked with a number of indie authors and have remained loyal to a few select authors and I beta read all their books.After a year or more of doing this, I thought maybe I could write some of the stories that were in my head and I just decided to write and see what happened. Katie lay in her bed, staring at the ceiling for what seemed like hours. Rolling over, she glanced at the clock: 2:42. Great! It had been hours. Annalyse Knight is a recovering craft addict. She spent many years jumping from one hobby to another until she discovered that writing satisfied all her creative cravings. A stay-at-home mom, Annalyse raised her three children on California’s Monterey Peninsula. Although she and her family later moved to the Sacramento area, the beach, the quiet community, and the beauty of the California coast continue to inspire her writing. The best part is that 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the United States War Veteran’s PTSD Foundation.

PTSD, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, affects approximately 19% of the military men and women returning from Afghanistan and Iraq—and that’s just those who have been diagnosed. The percentage is expected to grow as more of our military members seek treatment. It’s a heartbreaking trend for the men and women who sacrifice so much for our freedoms, especially with benefits being cut and promotions being threatened.

***STREET TEAM INTEREST***I'm considering putting together a street team and am curious who is interested in joining. I'm a big girl and its time to admit I need some help getting my name and books out there, leaving me free to spend more time actually writing my stories ... like Surreal.
#1 Priority—My team needs to be my eyes, ears, and fingers.
This means that if . . .

• a page/blog is running a contest for author takeovers, you'd get me in and band together to rally the votes.
• a page or blog is offering for street teams to post teasers or book boyfriend nominations, etc, I'd expect you to hop on it.
• I run a giveaway or sale, announce an event, or more importantly, am involved in a blog tour or release, then the team needs to get the word out.
