Lana Martin had a simple life, uncomplicated by the things that normally plagued her friends. But then terror struck and she found herself the unwilling plaything of a sexual deviant. Under his control, she is forced to endure things that would have crushed most people, but somehow she managed to stay alive long enough to be rescued and return to a normal life. Only life would never be normal again for Lana, because she came out of the ordeal with an unsettling knowledge that she had never been truly happy before. The deeply terrifying events she had endured had done something she hadn’t expected; they had awakened something dark inside of her, a lust that could only be satisfied under the protection of a black hood. She found that only in that darkness, could she truly be free from her inhibitions. When Daniel Morrow, the man who had held her captive is released from prison, Lana’s nightmare begins again, and she fears she will never be safe again. Her life, her future now relies on one man, the man she had once dismissed as unable to satisfy her longing, her former boyfriend Sergio Marsilis. Follow along with Lana as the darkness is awakened inside of her, and then as she searches for the one thing that has always eluded her, perfect sexual freedom.

“I’m here to see Daniel Morrow.” “Are you on his visitor’s list?” “I believe I am.” Lana Martin had no idea if she was in fact on his visitor’s list or not, but the letter she had received in the mail indicated that she was. He had been brief with his short letter. No hello, no apology, just a simple line that told her she was on the list. Whether the action itself had been borne of arrogance or some continued intent to inflict pain, she didn’t know any more than she knew why she was standing here now. The uniformed woman behind the glass – most likely bullet proof, she presumed – only took a second to verify her name and then motioned to a door to Lana’s right. A low buzzing could immediately be heard, followed by the dull clunk of the door’s locking mechanism being disengaged. She crossed the short distance and pulled the door open. It opened into a small room that was cut in half by a thick glass wall. Every three feet, the wall was sectioned by wooden partitions. A chair sat between each set of partitions and she could see a phone on either side of the glass in each section as well. Hollywood had apparently gotten this visitor’s room right in the movies, because it looked just like the ones she had seen on television. There were seven places for visitor’s to sit with a corresponding chair on the other side of the glass for the prisoner they were visiting. Two of these sections, both off to Lana’s left, were already in use. A guard motioned for her to take the chair directly under the red stenciled 6, one chair from the end. As she took the chair, she saw why she had not been searched before coming in here as she had been expecting. There was no slot or opening of any kind in the glass. The visitors couldn’t pass anything along to the prisoners even if they were inclined to try. So no cakes with a file inside, no pack of Marlboros or even so much as a pinup poster of Christy Canyon, the old school porn star could be given to the prisoners here. And clearly they couldn’t even hear through the glass, thus the necessity of the phones. The separation between her and the man who would be soon sitting across from her and the safety it implied did little to ease her fears. It wasn’t him she was afraid of, not in this moment. He had done unthinkable things to her and if given the chance he would probably do worse, but it wasn’t what she knew he was capable of that scared her. She was more afraid of why she was here in the first place. She had asked herself that several times on the drive over, and again at the building’s front doors, but she still didn’t have an answer for it and that scared the hell out of her. Tom Tinkerton would absolutely flip his lid if he knew she was here. Hell, if he even knew about the letter, she was certain something most horribly final would have already happened to the man she was here to see. Tink had that sort of pull, and she couldn’t fool herself into thinking he wouldn’t kill the man if he knew he had contacted her at all. She glanced back at the door and the guard standing beside it, wondering if there was still time to just get up and leave. But time wasn’t the issue. She didn’t want to leave, not yet anyway. And then he was sitting in front of her, inches away and separated only by a wall of glass. Daniel Morrow, the man who had reached deep down inside of her and ripped out her very soul. What had remained, what had been revealed, she still couldn’t fully define or understand, but when she saw him retrieve the telephone, she did the same and waited for his voice to come through the line. “Lana, I knew you would come.” That same smooth voice she had come to loathe while she had been in his captivity still held within it the same confident undertone she had recognized at the very beginning. In this setting, with any and all chances of danger absent, it was as if she was hearing his voice for the first time, and the way her name rolled off of the tip of his tongue was somehow incredibly alluring. She wanted to bolt for the door, but she couldn’t move, trapped there in that chair by his mesmerizing stare. “I want you to do something for me,” he said, his penetrating eyes locked on hers. Was he serious? She wanted to scream at him, tell him he had no right to ask anything of her. Instead, she continued to sit there in silence, her gaze still fixed on his. She couldn’t say anything. “I want you to slip your hand under the table while no one is watching and touch yourself.” She felt the anger threaten to boil up from inside her, but it was only a threat, so she tried to make herself feel surprised, but that too was nothing more than a wasted effort. Had she really expected anything different? Had she really wanted anything different? She looked down at her hand and then she did feel genuine surprise. Her hand was slowly moving toward the edge of the table. “I have to go,” she managed, without looking up at him. It was all she could do to keep from running as she left the room and then crossed the lobby. Once outside however she broke for her car. Lana dropped her keys twice before she was able to get the car unlocked. When the door mercifully closed behind her, she started the engine and took out her phone. Before she could hit the send button after scrolling down to Tink’s name, her hand was already between her legs. A low moan escaped her lips as she heard him answer the call. “If you can sneak away for a bit,” she whispered into the phone, “I really need you inside me right now.”

During the day I work as a senior portrait photographer and a graphic designer. I'm also a college student who loves zombies, vampires, and werewolves. Anything supernatural I am drawn to along with Starbucks frappes! I spend my free time watching The Vampire Diaries, The Walking Dead and True Blood.
My favorite genre to write is erotica and it's strongly recommended by my readers to make sure you have your sham wow panties on because my stories will leave you with moisture in the very best of places.

Blackjack Snippet 1:
“That’s a nice love bite there on your neck, babycakes,” he flirts, pointing at the open collar of my white cotton shirt. “Um, yeah, I think I received that while being impaled by your man of steel this morning,” I attempt to joke back. “Man of steel? Is that like, um, a penis?” Thomas does get my jokes; he just prefers to always pretend he doesn’t, forcing me to always be the straight guy. “Not fair, you use every euphemism possible for penis, but when I try one you act like I’m nuts,” I complain. “I don’t use various terms for my purple headed womb broom,” he answers with a smirk. “Besides, I have way better marks from our fun in Paris than you,” he adds, holding up his wrists.
Also, a second edition of Roulette: Love Is A Losing Game, Book One of The Thomas Hunt Series will be released on September 18th with a new cover, new paperback flat, & bonus material including a chapter from Thomas’s point of view.

An Interview with Jeanne McDonald
Name one actor/actress you would love to get naughty with?Just one?! Hmm. Can I have a foursome with Bradley Cooper, Chris Pine, and Robert Pattinson, because if I’m gonna cheat on the hubby, I want to go for it with gusto!
What is your favorite daily wear attire?Panties. A pair of sexy panties can make a girl feel good all day long. No one else might see them, but you know they’re there and that’s what matters.
How many pairs of shoes do you own? We’ll have to hire a mathematician to count. I think I’d break a calculator if I tried.
If you were a t-shirt, what color would you be? Why?I’d be white because it stays cool in the summertime and it becomes transparent when wet. A transparent t-shirt during a wet t-shirt contest is a surefire winner.

Are you a morning person or a night person?I’m very much a morning person.
Which is your most favorite place in this earth?
The beach. I love the smell, the feel of the sand under my toes, and the way the water calms me.

Desolation By Jo MatthewsLiam Jenkins grew up with everything he ever wanted. At age 17, his world is ripped apart and he finds himself without a home, without a car, and without money. His support system is gone and he is left to fend for himself. Not having any other option, Liam turns to sex and small crimes to survive. When a beautiful woman chooses not to turn him into the cops but invites him to her hotel room instead, Liam’s world is flipped upside down again and everything he’s learned on the streets ceases to exist. What will happen when one night with her isn’t enough? When she haunts his thoughts and dreams? When his past finally catches up with him, will he be able to start over? And will his mystery woman be there to see him through?

An Interview with Jo Matthews
If you were given a chance, would you enter Big Brother? Before this season, I would have said no. I love reality TV, but I have to be honest…I haven’t watched Big Brother since season two or three. At least until this year. When it aired this season, I was asked to watch it by a friend so we could talk about it, and while we haven’t really talked much about it, I’m hooked on the show. I love to see how each person plays their own personal game, and constantly think to myself… “I wonder if I could do any better.”
Do you like dogs or cats? Both. I’m an animal person in general. In fact, I have one dog, one cat, three rambunctious kittens, and a fish. Animals, whether they be cats, dogs, or anything else warm and furry, are healing for the soul and great when you’re spirits are low.
How many pairs of shoes do you own?Four. I know. I’m not your typical woman, and I don’t understand for the life of me why some women own hundreds of pairs of shoes. I know I could do with a few more, but it’s really not that important to me.
What's your bad quality? Some may not think of this as a bad quality, but I’m too nice. I hate disappointing people, and do everything I can to help anyone I can. That makes me a doormat to some, and that’s not a good feeling, but I grin and bear it as best I can because that’s who I am.
Do you speak with your dog?Doesn’t everyone? I have a 2 ½ year old German Shepherd that found me a year and a half ago, and I love him to death. He’s insane, but great to have. And he’s a great listener!
If you try to fail, and succeed, which have you done? You’ve succeeded at being a failure. Why would anyone try to fail? That is a better question. Maybe it’s me, but I absolutely hate failing at anything. I’m driven, and continue to try to better myself and reach new heights.
What do you do when you feel very sad or depressed?I’m a crier and I’m not ashamed to admit it. Crying is the body’s way of healing, and while something may hurt or cause you sadness at the time, crying will help you heal.
Which is the best vacation you've ever had?Last October with my BFF and co-author, B.L. Wilde. She came to visit me from England and spent two and a half weeks out here. We did some amazing things, but even if we had just stayed home and sat on the couch and talked, it still would have been the best because of the company!
What kind of kid were you, naughty or nice?I was totally nice. The kind of kid with their nose so far up the teacher’s ass that I couldn’t see sunshine. I was and always have been a people pleaser. I got good grades, did band and choir, and any other activity that I was needed for. The teachers all loved me, and I was Daddy’s little girl.
Are you a morning person or a night person?
Both. I can stay up until midnight or later easily, and always get up between 5 and 7 in the morning without a problem. I know, I’m weird. What can I say?

Low By Mary ElizabethLowen Seely has been forced into making bad choices his whole life but none as consequential as the one that lands him behind bars. Summary Detective Paul Daniels has spent four and a half years mourning the loss of his wife. He’s been doing his best to raise their daughter, Chloe, with the help of his in-laws. When they inform him right before Thanksgiving that they’re going to be moving over two hours away, Paul finds himself without anyone to watch Chloe—especially when he’s called out to a crime scene in the middle of the night. Little does he know that meeting his baby brother’s girlfriend and her sister, Megan, will change everything.Megan Carson has taken a few wrong turns in her life, but she’s doing her best to get back on track. When she meets Chloe, the little girl swiftly worms her way into Megan’s heart. The opportunity to help Paul out and watch his daughter appears to be a blessing in disguise. She quickly volunteers to be Chloe’s live-in nanny.Everything is working well until the three of them head back to Ohio for Chris and Elizabeth’s wedding. Paul has a little too much to drink during the reception, and he and Megan end up sharing a heated kiss. When he wakes up the next day, he has a pounding headache but remembers nothing.Megan, however, isn’t willing to forget. Over the past few months since she’s been playing nanny, her feelings for Paul have changed. He is everything she never knew she wanted, and now that she knows there might be something there, she’s going after what she wants—Paul.
Praise for Crossing The Line"I really loved the build up in this story and couldn't read fast enough to find out what happens next. Will Paul let go of his guilt from the past and give a relationship with Megan a chance? Or is Paul bad for Megan and lose her because of another mistake he makes?Read this book if you want a good romance, with a side of suspense, enjoyable characters and some smokin HOT scenes." ~Diane Williams, Goodreads To read the full review, click here.
Read an ExcerptMegan looked everywhere she could think of, even walking outside to see if she could spot him talking on his cell or something, but she came up empty. He was nowhere to be found, and after twenty minutes of searching, she decided to head upstairs to her room. She figured he had to come back eventually, right? As soon as Megan stepped inside her room, she kicked off her shoes. High heels made your legs look great, but they were killer on your feet. Next to come off was her jewelry, and then finally, her dress. She’d dressed up more than usual for Chris and Elizabeth’s wedding—more sophisticated, too. The dress she’d chosen was knee length, perfectly conservative, and had cute ruffled sleeves. To be honest, she was dressed more like her sister than she was herself. On most days, Megan preferred jeans and T-shirts, although she also liked skirts that showed off her legs. She might only be five foot five, but she had nice legs. Why not flaunt them? She padded into the bathroom in her bare feet, figuring she’d go ahead and get ready for bed. When she emerged ten minutes later, she found the kitty cat pajamas she’d brought with her—since moving in with Paul and Chloe, she’d had to make adjustments to her sleepwear—and put them on.Megan was about to crawl into bed and see what she could find on television when she heard what sounded like something crashing to the floor next door. Jumping up, Megan went to the door connecting her room with Paul’s. He’d gotten them adjoining rooms to make it easier for Chloe, but since the little girl was with her grandmother, Megan knew the noise had to be coming from Paul. “Paul? Are you all right over there?”No answer.“Paul?” Still nothing. Without stopping to think, Megan turned the handle on the door. It wasn’t locked, and it opened easily. She peeked inside, and what she saw had her scrambling across the room in a hurry. Paul was balanced—barely—against the dresser that supported the television. He looked as if he’d just come from the bathroom, and he was drunk. Not a little drunk, but can’t-walk-straight-or-talk-withoutslurring-his-words drunk. She’d never seen him like this.“Meg-Meg-an.” He sighed, and attempted to raise his arm toward her as she wrapped her arm around his waist. He was twice her size, and in his current condition, he was dead weight. With little help from him, Megan moved him a few feet over to the bed. He plopped down so hard he bounced.Once she was fairly sure he wasn’t going to topple over, she glanced around the room. That was when she noticed the bottle of scotch on the coffee table. Most of the bottle appeared to be gone, and as there was no one else in the room, she had to assume he’d drunk it all himself.“Will you be okay for a minute?”“Su-sure.” Paul smiled up at her, and she felt something flutter in the pit of her stomach.Stop it, she told herself, as she marched back into her room to get some ibuprofen. He was still where she left him when she returned with something for the headache he was bound to have come morning. She took one of the glasses provided by the hotel into the bathroom to fill it up with water, before returning to stand directly in front of him. “Here. Take these. If you drank as much as I think you did, then you are going to have one massive hangover in the morning.”Without comment, or protest, Paul downed the pills like they were candy. She handed him the water, and he drained that within seconds as well. When he was done, she took the glass from him, and went to refill it. Again, he drained it when she brought it back to him. Once he polished that one off, Megan set aside the empty glass. She couldn’t help but wonder what had brought this on, although she was pretty sure she knew.Megan was lost in thought when she felt Paul’s fingers brush the outside of her legs. At first, she thought it was unintentional, but then he got bolder and flattened his palms so that they were bracketing her waist. She could feel the heat of his hands through her clothes. Megan knew she should push him away—he was drunk, after all—but she couldn’t. She wanted to see what he would do.“Always wear . . . most in . . . testing . . . p . . . jamaszzz.”She swallowed. He noticed her pajamas? Since when? “I like cats.”
~~ABOUT THE AUTHOR~~
Sherri spent most of her childhood detesting English class. It was one of her least favorite subjects because she never seemed to fit into the standard mold. She wasn't good at spelling, or following grammar rules, and outlines made her head spin. For that reason, Sherri never imagined becoming an author. At the age of thirty, all of that changed. After getting frustrated with the direction a television show was taking two of its characters, Sherri decided to try her hand at writing an alternate ending, and give the characters their happily ever after. By the time the story finished, it was one of the top ten read stories on the site, and her readers were encouraging her to write more. Seven years later, Sherri is the author of seven full-length novels, and one short story. Writing has become a creative outlet for Sherri that allows her to explore a wide range of emotions, while having fun taking her characters through all the twists and turns she can create. She is most well known for her Finding Anna Series about a young woman rescued from being a sex slave by a wealthy Dominant. Sherri’s eighth novel, Crossing The Line, is scheduled to release September 4, 2014.

COVER REVEAL: Big Game: Hunted Love #1 by Aden Lowe
Title: Big Game: Hunted Love 1
Author: Aden Lowe
Release Date: September 15, 2014
Genre: Western Romance
RECOMMENDED FOR AGES EIGHTEEN AND UP DUE TO EXPLICIT SEXUAL SITUATIONS, AND STRONG LANGUAGE
Synopsis:When a legendary predator decides prize horses should be on his menu, Kate takes the advice of her neighbor ranchers and hires a big game hunter to track the mountain lion and remove the threat. The hunter arrives to take up the trail, but instead of the seasoned older man she expects, he's young and impossibly sexy. Freshly back from deployment to Afghanistan as a special forces operative, Jakob needs to clear his head of the horrors of war. When his uncle is injured, Jakob steps in to fulfill the older man's commitment to hunt down a mountain lion on the other side of the state. The prospect of several days in the wilderness with only his horses and dogs for company sounds like the ideal opportunity. Except the infuriating female rancher insists on going along for the ride.
Excerpt:A faint noise drew Jakob from the twilight that precedes waking, straight into full alert. Unsure what disturbed him, he lay still and allowed his eyes to open a bare slit. Just his luck that mountain lion would be prowling through camp. Unable to spot anything out of place, he sat up, careful not to move too quickly and get his head injury in an uproar again. Splashing, louder than the stream flowing over the rocks, drew his attention. Fascination froze him in place for an instant, forcing him to just watch. At the creek, Kate straightened and squeezed water from her hair, then flipped it back to swing down her naked back. Water droplets clung to her pale skin like crystals, refracting the light and mesmerizing him. She half-turned to retrieve something from the ground, revealing the curve of one breast. The sound of Jakob’s agonized groan must have carried, because she straightened and turned to face him, moving too quickly, and lost her balance. Head wound forgotten, he leaped up and dove across the small camp area in an attempt to catch her before she could fall into the icy water. She recovered just as he reached her, and stood facing him, breathing hard. Something in her face had changed and for the first time since meeting her, Jakob felt as if she actually saw him. The unreachable Ice Queen was gone, and in her place…

Dom Wars 6, The Final Round by Lucian Bane and Aden Lowe {BLOG TOUR & GIVEAWAY}

Please do not view if you are sensitive to these lighting effects.**

*RECOMMENDED FOR AGES EIGHTEEN AND UP DUE TO EXPLICIT SEXUAL SITUATIONS, AND STRONG LANGUAGE* When Gladiator Inc, an adult toy company expands their market to familiarize the ‘vanilla’ world with the elements of BDSM, the result is a pay-per-view reality show with video feeds streamed live to subscribers. The show, Dom Wars, is a competition to determine the Top Dom that will become the spokesperson for the company. The contestants all wear cameras to film every moment and angle of the competition, while they complete various challenges to determine who has ultimately Dominated various elements of themselves. The hero and heroine of the series, Lucian Bane and Tara Reese, have barely made it into the Sixth and Final Round of Dom Wars. This week-long Survival Round will determine the Top Dom, once and for all. The contestants are taken to an uninhabited island, where they will have to cross formidable jungle terrain. First Dom to reach the boat anchored on the other side of the island wins the million dollars and the title. Seems simple. Except Lucian’s old adversary, the Sadist Jase Duff from Round One, has been tasked with making sure none of the five teams make it to the boat. If he is successful, he wins the prize, only it's not money that Jase Duff cares about, its revenge on Lucian and Tara. And his sadistic need to inflict pain makes it game on.

MY REVIEW:

In Dom Wars Rounds 1 through 5, we got to meet an eclectic ensemble of characters. Some of them, like Lucian, Tara, and Steve, have been central to the ongoing story. Others, like Betty, don’t make return appearances but can’t be omitted from the experience that is Dom Wars. Nothing in the first rounds can really prepare you for the Final Round, however.
Jase Duff, the sadist from Round 1 is back ~ and he’s lost his cotton picking mind. The best way to describe what goes down is to imagine Catching Fire with lots of sex. At times, in fact, the sex seemed almost gratuitous given the intensity of the situations Lucian, Tara, Preacher, and Becca find themselves in. At the same time, one has to wonder if you wouldn’t do the same in their shoes; i.e. trapped on an island with a mad man and the realization that you’re no longer in a game of fame and fortune, but in a fight for your life. In a case of not knowing when the love of your life might suddenly be gone, would you take advantage of every opportunity, no matter how awkward, to savor those last desperate acts of intimacy?
A fast-paced, breath-holding, page turner to be sure. Bane and Lowe have teamed up to close this series with a tearful bang. If you’ve been waiting to start, go ahead and dive in. You will laugh, you will get turned on, you might even cry . . . one thing is certain, you won’t regret giving it a shot.
*Disclaimer: I was given an advance copy by the authors in exchange for an honest review. It is my own issues with editing, and lack of resolution with Danielle, that held me back from giving this installment five stars.
About the Authors:
Lucian Bane:
My name is Lucian Bane, and I'm an Ineffable Dom. That just means, do yourself a favor and please don't try to fit me into categories. Complicated Dom, Intricate Dom, or Confounding Dom work too. I don't want a woman I can break, or overpower, or exercise my dominance over. I want a woman I can come undone with. I want a woman I can lose myself in. I think there are many men like myself, and I hope my writing will be a map for them. (And women, to let them know Doms like this exist.) I want to challenge men to go for the complete power exchange with a woman, but don't be a coward and not give the same that they demand or expect. Consider that when you give one hundred percent of yourself to a person, there is no more of you to give away. You now belong to them the way they belong to you. Inner Doms need a master to train them. I once bowed to my Dom's reckless and tireless desires, but when I gained control, he bowed to my will. The transformation made me into what I am today. What many would call an Ineffable Dom. But its equal term in the Vanilla world, in my opinion, is a real man.

As an English major in college, I took a summer job as a proofreader for a small town newspaper, and got hooked on editing. I also worked my way through college training horses. After graduation, I landed a job for a small independent editing firm, and stayed there for 15 yrs. An old friend, Lucian, approached me to edit his special fiction project, and I got hooked. After an insane few months editing his Dom Wars series for him, Lucian convinced me I should try my hand at writing as well. I’m his co-author for Round Six, the final Dom Wars installment, and we will co-write the White Knight Academy series as well. And in Sept 2014, I’ll release my debut solo work, an Erotic Western with BDSM elements, “Big Game: A Hunted Love Novella”. In addition, I have a military series in the planning stages.
