A few years ago Ryan Golgosky hurt his back and had to take time off from his window cleaning business

While laid up, he worked on his window-cleaning website and learned more about web design and online marketing.

He eventually turned that hobby into a business and launched 180Sites.com, a web design agency for the service industry

Ryan’s clients provide services such as…

Ryan launched the business in 2018 and it now does $100,000 per month in recurring revenue

Yes, recurring revenue. Because unlike most other web design agencies, 180Sites.com charges a monthly fee. Their packages are priced at $180 to $300 per month, with a minimum 24-month commitment.

So they earn at least $4320 from each client over 2 years.

Clients seem to like this because they can get started without a big investment.

Ryan’s first clients came via his existing connections in the service community. He knew a lot of people with exterior cleaning businesses…

What he found in targeting that niche is since it has low barriers to entry, most of the people running cleaning services have no previous business experience and are still figuring things out, including their websites. 

“It was a great demographic for me to serve and provide some good value to,” Ryan said.

I love hearing about online businesses that serve local communities, and I reckon there’s still tons of opportunity for this.

Pretty much every local business wants more customers. Help them get more customers – or increase the value of existing customers – and they’ll happily pay for your services.

90 Day Content Library Framework

Josh Spector writes…

There’s a simple way to build a content library without having to create new content forever.

To start, you should have a specific audience in mind and a specific goal you want to help them achieve

Then you write down 30 things they can do to accomplish that goal.

For each thing on that list…

Create one piece of content that shows them HOW to do it.Create one piece of content that explains WHY they need to do it.Create one piece of content that shows how OTHERS have done it.

That’ll give you 90 distinct pieces of content.

The final step…

Publish one of your 90 pieces of content a day for 90 days.

Then, repost or reshare all the content in your cycle – updating and expanding it as needed. Every 90 days the cycle starts again so you’re basically sharing the same stuff once every 3 months.

You could try this to help build your own audience.

It’s also a framework you could pitch to clients: help them write that list and create/publish the 90 pieces of content.

We Analysed 10,000 Product Review Search Results to See Who’s Ranking

 – Can new affiliate sites rank quickly?
– Just how dominant are sites like Forbes?
– Do many independent affiliates reach 1M+ monthly visitors?

Unfortunately, they found only 5 independent websites in the top 100 overall.

Those are five sites that are NOT owned by big companies or part of a blogging network. In other words, they are pretty much the pinnacle of what you can achieve as an independent affiliate website creator.

So there’s a lot to learn from them

And the founder of Retro Dodo revealed that the site pulled in $50,000 in revenue last November

our admittedly simplistic viewpoint does suggest having some kind of niche element to your affiliate review website will help you rank more often, and higher, than a general review site or general news site.

How Much I Made From Amazon FBA UK In November 2022 – Sharing Realistic and Real Figures…

The video is from December 2022 and Gediminas says he’s been selling on Amazon for about 17 months. 

As usual, he doesn’t reveal what products he’s selling

His numbers for November…

Revenue = £12,672 ($15.3K)Profit = £2,400 ($2900)Profit Margin = 19%

Apparently his revenue was 2x from the previous November, so things are picking up

However, Gediminas has been putting all his profits back into the business…

I haven’t personally paid myself anything yet… I have a full-time job, [Amazon FBA] is my part-time hustle… but I actually see this turning into a real opportunity to become a full-time Amazon FBA seller.

So make no mistake: it takes quite a bit of time and effort to build up a truly profitable business on Amazon.

I’ve done this several times myself, and I highly recommend that you try it if you’re actively looking for jobs on Upwork. 

You’d post a small job, something you would like to get hired for yourself. For example, if you’re a graphic designer, hire someone to design a simple logo or maybe a banner ad.

Once the applications start rolling in, you’ll quickly learn what your competitors on Upwork are doing to stand out (or not). Then you can emulate the approach of the best applicants in your own pitches

My team and I made $1 million selling @NotionHQ templates in a single year (Jan-Dec 2022).

They sell two premium Notion templates

Ultimate Brain ($99)Creator’s Companion ($149-229)

They also offer some free Notion templates (here) and sell the two premium templates as a bundle.

Thomas again…

Bundling works. The Creator’s Companion/Ultimate Brain bundle outsells the other editions by a 3:1 ratio, and results in much higher average order value.

After Thomas sold $100,000 worth of templates in April 2022 alone he broke down his “exact strategies for audience building”…

– Built an audience w/ tutorials and free templates
– Spent a LOT of time on the sales page
– Product bundles
– Upgraded the customer experience everywhere

YouTube has been a key part of Thomas’ audience-building strategy. 

He now has 2.8 million subscribers on his channel. He promotes his own products there but also revealed these earnings for last year…

£391,000 Revenue On Amazon = How Much Profit?

Every now and then I’ll search on YouTube for realistic success stories of online entrepreneurs.

The trick to finding them is to skip the videos with millions of views and flashy thumbnails, and avoid any channel with 50,000+ subscribers

What I’m hoping to find are gems like this: My Amazon FBA PROFITS Revealed! | Amazon FBA 2022 Income Report…

As of this writing, that video has only 6800 views and the channel only has 8200 subscribers

It’s a video by Janson Smith, who apparently started selling on Amazon in the UK back in 2017.

He starts off by saying…

If you’ve searched on YouTube for anything to do with Amazon FBA, you can almost guarantee that you’ll have come across countless videos from people that all say they’ve made 100,000’s selling on Amazon, and they’ve done it all in a single month. 

What they often won’t reveal though is that the big figure that they’re talking about is revenue and not profit.

Janson goes on to reveal his numbers selling multiple products on Amazon in Q2 of last year…

Revenue = £391,000 ($472K)Expenses = £348,000 ($420K)Profit = £43,000 ($52K)Profit Margin = 13%

That works out to an average monthly profit of £14,333 ($17.3K) in the quarter

Though Jason says in the video that his profits were increasing steadily, with almost half of that £43K coming in the final month of Q2.

Most impressive of all though is that Amazon FBA is still a side hustle for Jason, something he does in his spare time.

What products does he sell on Amazon?

He doesn’t share that info, which is understandable given how competitive Amazon is. I’ve heard many stories of once-profitable products withering due to increased competition.

How does 72IG WhatsApp Income Blueprint help you make money?

Affiliate marketing is when you promote other people’s products or services, and collect a commission for every successful referral.

72IG WhatsApp Income Blueprint mainly teaches you how to promote products from Toyin Omotoso’s own affiliate network (Expertnaire) via WhatsApp.

One of the main products they show you how to promote is 72IG itself.

Toyin Omotoso mentions five main steps for making money from his training on a sales page video…

Sign up as to ExpertnaireChoose an Expertnaire product to promoteSet up a WhatsApp lineAdd customer’s contacts to a WhatsApp listConvert contacts to buyers

For the 4th step above, you are shown first how to promote products to your existing contacts (friends, family, etc.). Then you are shown how to find new contacts via free and paid strategies.

But again, 72IG is the main thing they show you how to promote here. There are even challenges that reward people for promoting 72IG.

That makes the whole thing feel a bit too much like an MLM scheme for my liking

72IG WhatsApp Income Blueprint sells itself as a platform for everyone that has a smartphone.

And it seems to be primarily targeted towards the Nigerian market, as all the prices are shown in Nigerian naira.

A headline on the sales page says it all…

Complete newbies are using this NEW smartphone income technique to legally make as much as N750k a month – No Capital Needed.

It’s technically true that no capital is needed to implement the training, but some paid tools are recommended throughout. None of them seem 100% necessary however.

70+ ways how to make money online (including easy options)Does Toyin Omatoso have a good reputation?

It seems so, for the most part.

On one hand, I only found praise for Toyin Omatoso and 72IG WhatsApp Income Blueprint during my research.

Toyin states that he has more than 10 years of experience with affiliate marketing, and that he makes more than 100,000,000 naira (approx. $217,000) per year.

Omatoso has written several books on business, with names like… 

How to Turn Yourself Into a Live Breathing Cash MachineHow To Make Quick Crazy CashWhere the money is right now & how to get it

Toyin also has a big following on social media, as both his and his affiliate network’s Twitter accounts have well over 100,000 followers.

My main criticism of Toyin however is the products he creates and promotes.

The names of his books above are a great example: for me they come across very sleazy and “get rich quick.”

Toyin’s 72IG training is all about promoting products listed on Toyin’s Expertnaire marketplace, and IMO the vast majority of those products fall into the “get rich quick” category.

Here are a few of the shadier-sounding products I saw listed on there…

Sure, some of those products might offer valuable nuggets of wisdom, but the marketing really rubs me the wrong way.

Oh, and within the 72IG training, these are the criteria you are instructed to use to pick a product to promote…

A glaring omission there is the most important criteria of all, IMO…

Is the product itself actually good?

Unfortunately, Toyin doesn’t seem concerned about the quality of the products listed on his Expertnaire marketplace at all

Are 72IG WhatsApp Income Blueprint students getting results?

Browse through the official 72IG WhatsApp Income Blueprint websites and you’ll find no shortage of student testimonials.

For example…

There are many more success stories like this, but it seems like all of them are more than a year old. Even the YouTube testimonials on the official website, which should be the newest ones, are more than a year old.

This could mean that either the official webpages haven’t been updated lately, or students aren’t seeing any significant results from following the training lately.

But another concern here is that all these students are apparently making money by promoting products from the Expertnaire marketplace. And as I noted above, many of those products seem quite shady.

How much does 72IG WhatsApp Income Blueprint cost?

Lifetime access to 72IG WhatsApp Income Blueprint will cost you 65,000 Naira, which at the time of this writing roughly translates to $141 USD.

According to Toyin, there are no additional costs you need to cover.

However, since you’ll need to start your own website to fully utilize the second part of the training, you may want to put out some extra cash to cover hosting and a domain for your site.

Toyin also recommends some free tools throughout the training (eg. a WhatsApp autoresponder) but encourages students to pay for the premium versions.

I’ve searched high and low for a discount or coupon code but have yet to find mention of one anywhere, and there’s no place to enter a discount code on the 72IG WhatsApp Income Blueprint checkout.

Sorry guys: it’s full-price or nothing.

At this point, I have to let you know that this product does not have a money back guarantee and the reason is simple.

If you are buying it because you already want to fail and collect your money back, then we will rather prefer that you do not get it.

This program is for people who really want to win and are ready to put in the required efforts to do so.

If that is not you, then don’t get the program.

It is as simple as that.

I’m not a fan of this policy, having seen lots of other online courses that deliver the content digitally and instantly, yet still offer a refund policy.

How is 72IG WhatsApp Income Blueprint structured?

Here’s what the training looks like once you’re logged in…

The core training consists of two main courses:

72IG WhatsApp Income Generator72IG Implementation Program 2.0

Both of them have 10-15 YouTube video lessons. The video length spans from just a few minutes to over an hour.

I found the training very scattered, especially with the second part seemingly repeating parts of the first one. For example, both parts of the training touch upon paid ads and Facebook ads.

Although the training comes with a whole lot of bonus lessons, templates, spreadsheets, and access to an affiliate network, I found the lessons underwhelming.

From what I’ve seen, most of the lessons consist of a bunch of slides, with the instructor just talking over them, not offering much on top of that. I found it to be far too much theory and not enough practical instruction.

Finally, there’s a Facebook group for 72IG WhatsApp Income Blueprint, but I get the feeling it’s completely abandoned…

So don’t expect to be part of a thriving community if you purchase this course!

Should you join 72IG WhatsApp Income Blueprint?

Personally, I’d be hesitant to join this course given all the above.

I simply don’t believe it can help you build a sustainable affiliate marketing business. 

Best-case scenario, you can probably make some quick money here by promoting 72IG WhatsApp Income Blueprint or other questionable Expertnaire products to your family and friends.

But your family and friends will probably end up resenting you for it

If you’re not especially partial to Toyin Omotoso but still want to learn affiliate marketing, I’d recommend starting with some better-rated courses that have solid refund policies (see below).

ChatGPT: A Double-edged Sword for Article Writers

Anne Moss – the lady with the $180,000/month blogging machine – writes about her (mis)adventures using ChatGPT to generate content for her niche websites.

In short, she couldn’t trust the information it provided. It made up entire news stories and fabricated details of real stories

That’s not to say ChatGPT is useless for creating content.

Anne loves using it for…

But…

it’s not a good solution for writing whole articles – especially not articles about very specific topics. It can easily trick you into thinking it can do that, but you could end up with an article that’s lacking or just plain wrong.
