REPTILIAN Mentally & Spiritually Controls Frightened Brit Experiencer!

After almost 2 decades, an experiencer comes forward to describe her frightening Reptilian encounter. She felt mentally and spiritually controlled in the presence of this being.
"Hi. Upon reading online about reptilian beings visiting people I summoned up my courage to speak out about my experience 19 years ago.

In 2005 I lived in Colchester, England with my long-term partner and was working at a local cafe where I met and worked with people who first introduced me to the beliefs surrounding the Illuminati.

When I fell pregnant we decided to move to Australia where strange things started to happen in my sleep. The first one I remember is waking up and not being able to move or talk. It was extremely frightening and although it happened on several occasions I was hesitant to tell my partner in case he thought I was crazy. On the contrary, I felt mentally and spiritually strong which helped me fight to overcome the forces that were controlling me every time.

I also used to see tiny green lights in the corners of my room during the night.

One night I was woken to find what I can only describe as a reptile-like creature/being standing over me on two legs. It had a frill around its neck that was in a threatened-like extension, very muscular, and a tail. He was making a hissing noise I felt that was certainly not friendly looking almost through me when our eyes met and as in previous experiences I was not able to move or speak and felt paralyzed yet wide awake. In absolute terror, I shut my eyes and opened them and it was gone.

I was beside myself and was in fear of his return. It wasn't the last time I awoke to him, he also came to me in a dream. In my dream, I was sitting at my friend's square table talking with her and I knew he was there. In my dream I remember as my friend was talking I was being coaxed away and taken by him, It felt like an out-of-body experience as I could see myself in my dream at the table with her, I knew I had been taken. I managed with all of my spirit to fight the strength he had on me and I remember feeling like I wasn't ready to go and that he'd be back when I was because after that it didn't return and hasn't.
After I had my baby I remember seeing lights the same green ones I saw in my room in her cot at night when she woke for feeding. I don't know why this happened to me or why I got a frill neck but I know I'm not alone and I know I'm not crazy! Take care," S

The DEVIL'S OWN Lived in South-Central Pennsylvania

The following old newspaper account is somewhat similar to a tale I first heard when I was a boy growing up in southcentral Pennsylvania. I was not aware of the vintage article until today, but reading it brings back-references to the birth of a monstrous child in the area of present-day Pine Grove Furnace State Park:

Salt Lake Daily Tribune, Utah - 16 December 1888

THE VERY PICTURE OF THE DEVIL

A Gilt-Edged Fable From Pennsylvania

Wonderful Credulity

A student in the theological seminary at Gettysburg, Pa., writes to the New York Herald as follows:

“To the north and west of this city, about fifteen miles away, dividing this county from Cumberland and Franklin counties, is a ridge of mountains. In some of the mountain valleys the people are in a state of dense ignorance, seeing little of the outer world and scarcely touched by the civilization that is all around them. In one of these little corners of the mountain, about two weeks ago, was born a monstrosity that has filled the mountaineers with terror and dread. Among many of them superstition is religion, and they believe that the devil has appeared among them incarnate in the monster, born in their midst.

“During the past week rumors have reached this city of this fabulous creature born in the mountains, and of the intense excitement spread to the lowlands, and those who had the courage to overcome their superstitious fears and visit the creature describe it as being somewhat larger than the average new-born babe, and although the offspring of a white father and mother, is dark in color, and covered with short, black hair. From either side of its head grow short horns. A long tail hung to its feet, which strongly resemble the cloven hoof. In fact, to use the word of one who saw it, it was the very picture of the devil.’

“There are many stories as to the incidents attending the birth of the monster, but the following story is the one which seems to have so fixed itself in the minds of the mountaineers that they cannot be convinced that the devil has not lived and been among them in the flesh. From what they say it appears that the father of the creature has some sort of religious belief, and tried to persuade his wife, who did not agree with him, to accept his opinions. Finally she declared that she would not do as he wished, and in blasphemous language declared that she would rather see the devil than to have a cross always before her eyes. Shortly after this declaration she gave birth to a horrible monster, as described above.

“In terror the father summoned several neighbors, and one of them, more brave than the rest, offered to open a vein in the arm of the creature and bleed it to death. As he took his knife from his pocket the creature raised itself, got down from the bed, walked across the room, and returning, addressed its would be executioner in the most terrible language and threatened him with dire misfortune if he attempted to do it harm, and then declared it would live for seven days, and having revealed its object in coming into the world would then die. It lived for seven days, and on the last Monday, the eighth day, died, but without having spoken again. As strange as it may seem this story has many believers, and there are few who do not shun the little cabin in the mountain which lives the poor mother of the miserable creature whose birth and death have filled her neighbors with such uneasiness."

Here is the story told to me when I was a young boy. I used to go camping and fishing in the same area, so the tale stuck with me:

"Not so many years after the War Between the States, a young Quaker man decided to leave the confines of Philadelphia and start a new life in the mountains of Pennsylvania.

After a long search for the right piece of land, he purchased a large lot in Cooke Township, where he found employment at the old South Mountain Iron Works. On his land was a stream full of brook trout, plentiful timber and lots of open space to raise a family.

Not long after planting his roots, he met a young woman who soon became his wife. She wasn't the religious type, but the Quaker fell deeply in love...so they were married by the local Justice of the Peace.

The Quaker's wife was soon pregnant and the happy couple began looking forward to building a long life together.

In the final month of her pregnancy, the young wife started to experience bouts of anger and intense pain. The doctor ordered her to complete bedrest, though he could not diagnose the cause of her malady.

The Quaker said he had a horrible dream where the Devil had come to visit their home while he was at work. He was sure that his wife was possessed by a demonic being and that he needed to purge her of this evil.

For ten days straight he knelt by her bedside invoking prayers and charms...much to the chagrin of the wife.

Soon she became disgusted by the fuss her husband was making. In a fit of rage she grabbed a small wooden cross, that was laying on the bed, and flung it threw a window. She declared that there is no God and that the Devil was only a creation of a feeble mind.

That very night, the Quaker's bride went into labor. She tolled in agony for the entire night and into the early morning. A midwife was quickly summoned for the delivery. Soon after daybreak, the child started its way into the world.

As the midwife coaxed the new mother to push, it soon became apparent that this child was unlike any she had ever witnessed.

The newborn 'boy' resembled a beast...not a human. It was alive and breathing but did not cry or make any sound. It was gray in color and more scales than skin. It had a long tail and small horn buds above its pointed ears. There were claws for hands and hooves for feet. It also emitted a foul, lingering stench. This was the embodiment of Mephistopheles."

NOTE: That's where the story ends, but there have been rumors of the demon's seed roaming the woods of South Mountain. I haven't received any specific reports, but you never know what may show itself. Lon

Can FANTASY Evolve Into REALITY?

On the heels of the Slender Man legend comes the story of pale, crawler humanoids, a creepy tale of an unknown being that originally started on a few alternative boards. The narrative eventually reached a larger audience and transformed into a full-blown urban legend. Does this allegory have tulpa potential? Well, that remains to be seen, but there have been reports that this creature does exist. The following is the original publication:

The Genesis

During the summer of 2003, events in the northeastern United States involving a strange, human-like creature sparked brief local media interest before an apparent blackout was enacted. Little or no information was left intact, as most online and written accounts of the creature were mysteriously destroyed.

Primarily focused in rural New York state, self-proclaimed witnesses told stories of their encounters with a creature of unknown origin. Emotions ranged from extremely traumatic levels of fright and discomfort to an almost childlike sense of playfulness and curiosity. While their published versions are no longer on record, the memories remained powerful. Several of the involved parties began looking for answers that year.

In early 2006, the collaboration had accumulated nearly two dozen documents dating between the 12th century and the present day, spanning 4 continents. In almost all cases, the stories were identical. I've been in contact with a member of this group and was able to get some excerpts.

A Suicide Note: 1964

"As I prepare to take my life, I feel it necessary to assuage any guilt or pain I have introduced through this act. It is not the fault of anyone other than him. For once I awoke and felt his presence. And once I awoke and saw his form. Once again I awoke and heard his voice, and looked into his eyes. I cannot sleep without fear of what I might next awake to experience. I cannot ever wake. Goodbye."

Found in the same wooden box were two empty envelopes addressed to William and Rose, and one loose personal letter with no envelope.

'Dearest Linnie,

I have prayed for you. He spoke your name.'

A Journal Entry 1880 (translated from Spanish):

I have experience the greatest terror. I have experienced the greatest terror. I have experienced the greatest terror. I see his eyes when I close mine. They are hollow. Black. They saw me and pierced me. His wet hand. I will not sleep. His voice (unintelligible text).

A Mariner's Log: 1691

He came to me in my sleep. From the foot of my bed I felt a sensation. He took everything. We must return to England. We shall not return here again at the request of the Rake.

Witness Account: 2006

"Three years ago, I had just returned from a trip from Niagara Falls with my family for the 4th of July. We were all very exhausted after a long day of driving, so my husband and I put the kids right to bed and called it a night.

At about 4am, I woke up thinking my husband had gotten up to use the restroom. I used the moment to steal back the sheets, only to wake him in the process. I appologized and told him I though he got out of bed. When he turned to face me, he gasped and pulled his feet up from the end of the bed so quickly his knee almost knocked me out of the bed. He then grabbed me and said nothing.

After adjusting to the dark for a half second, I was able to see what caused the strange reaction. At the foot of the bed, sitting and facing away from us, there was what appeared to be a naked man, or a large hairless dog of some sort. It's body position was disturbing and unnatural, as if it had been hit by a car or something. For some reason, I was not instantly frightened by it, but more concerned as to its condition. At this point I was somewhat under the assumption that we were supposed to help him.

My husband was peering over his arm and knee, tucked into the fetal position, occasionally glancing at me before returning to the creature.

In a flurry of motion, the creature scrambled around the side of the bed, and then crawled quickly in a flailing sort of motion right along the bed until it was less than a foot from my husband's face. The creature was completely silent for about 30 seconds (or probably closer to 5, it just seemed like a while) just looking at my husband. The creature then placed its hand on his knee and ran into the hallway, leading to the kids' rooms.

I screamed and ran for the lightswitch, planning to stop him before he hurt my children. When I got to the hallway, the light from the bedroom was enough to see it crouching and hunched over about 20 feet away. He turned around and looked directly at me, covered in blood. I flipped the switch on the wall and saw my daughter Clara.

The creature ran down the stairs while my husband and I rushed to help our daughter. She was very badly injured and spoke only once more in her short life. She said "he is the Rake".

My husband drove his car into a lake that night, while rushing our daughter to the hospital. He did not survive.

Being a small town, news got around pretty quickly. The police were helpful at first, and the local newspaper took a lot of interest as well. However, the story was never published and the local television news never followed up either.

For several months, my son Justin and I stayed in a hotel near my parent's house. After we decided to return home, I began looking for answers myself. I eventually located a man in the next town over who had a similar story. We got in contact and began talking about our experiences. He knew of two other people in New York who had seen the creature we now referred to as the Rake.

It took the four of us about two solid years of hunting on the internet and writing letters to come up with a small collection of what we believe to be accounts of the Rake. None of them gave any details, history or follow up. One journal had an entry involving the creature in its first 3 pages, and never mentioned it again. A ship's log explained nothing of the encounter, saying only that they were told to leave by the Rake. That was the last entry in the log.

There were, however, many instances where the creature's visit was one of a series of visits with the same person. Multiple people also mentioned being spoken to, my daughter included. This led us to wonder if the Rake had visited any of us before our last encounter.

I set up a digital recorder near my bed and left it running all night, every night, for two weeks. I would tediously scan through the sounds of me rolling around in my bed each day when I woke up. By the end of the second week, I was quite used to the occasional sound of sleep while blurring through the recording at 8 times the normal speed. (This still took almost an hour every day)

On the first day of the third week, I thought I heard something different. What I found was a shrill voice. It was the Rake. I can't listen to it long enough to even begin to transcribe it. I haven't let anyone listen to it yet. All I know is that I've heard it before, and I now believe that it spoke when it was sitting in front of my husband. I don't remember hearing anything at the time, but for some reason, the voice on the recorder immediately brings me back to that moment.

The thoughts that must have gone through my daughter's head make me very upset.

I have not seen the Rake since he ruined my life, but I know that he has been in my room while I slept. I know and fear that one night I'll wake up to see him staring at me." J

NOTE: Could this be a real entity? There are descriptions of similar creatures throughout the ages. For example, in Stephen King's novel It[image error], an entity's various manifestations are given form and power by the belief of the townspeople. The Mothman Prophecies[image error] where John A. Keel alludes to several ghosts and UFO sightings as likely being tulpas. I personally feel that thought-form manifestations may clarify and possibly explain certain phenomena. Lon

(VIDEO) UCUMAR, TROLL, OR GOBLIN? Hairy Hominin Recorded on Argentina Sugarcane Farm

A worker at a sugarcane farm in Argentina recorded a video of a hairy hominin known locally as a Ucumar, a small Sasquatch-like creature often referred to as a Troll or Goblin.

A young worker, whose name is being withheld for privacy reasons, experienced an experience that defies all logical explanation and sparked fear among his coworkers. The incident occurred on August 31.

On a night that seemed to be like any other on the farm, the young man was operating a tractor harvesting sugarcane. Nearby, a companion was driving a truck, when suddenly, something unimaginable happened. According to the victim's account, a dark, shapeless figure appeared out of nowhere. The young man decided to get off the tractor to urinate, and he watched as the entity fell from above to the ground and took the form of a person.

When he tried to return to the tractor, he felt an invisible attack. He was violently dragged several meters from the vehicle, leaving him unconscious and face down on the ground. His partner, not seeing him in his usual place, stopped the truck and came to his aid, finding him in that state.

After regaining consciousness, the young man, visibly shaken and trembling, told his companion what had happened. He described how something invisible had attacked him, beaten him, and dragged him with inhuman force. He showed signs of pain on his body and, when he lifted his clothes, he found inexplicable marks that were evidence of the violent encounter.

"It was something flat and dark that took the shape of a person," the young man said.

The photograph of the marks on her body adds a disturbing element to the story, raising more questions than answers. The other workers, when asked what they had seen, only received tears of helplessness in response.

This event left a deep impression on everyone working on the farm. The inexplicable nature of the attack generated fear and caution among the workers, who now face their daily tasks with a mixture of anxiety and curiosity.

NOTE: It is a hairy, mammalian ape-like beast similar to the Sasquatch of North America, the Yeti from the Himalayas, and the Yowie of Australia. This mysterious creature terrorized many areas in Argentina and Chile. Described as 5-7 feet tall, with thick hair, small eyes, and huge arms and legs. VANISHING HITCHHIKERS: Spirit Energies & Supernatural Beings Need Rides Also!

In the scenario, an unknown hitchhiker flags down a car and gets into the backseat. As they drive away and travel a short distance, the stranger may say a few words, after which, the phantom suddenly disappears. It's the type of encounter that sends a chill down my spine. I have listed a few 'vanishing prophet' tales followed by disappearing hitchhiker accounts that are published in the media:

"A lady was driving and saw a young man walking beside the road. Never before had she picked up a stranger, but she felt that she was to pick up this man so she did. He had a hood over his face and she was not able to see his face at all. She began driving and said to him "Son, where are you going?" He said to her "My lips are near the trumpet." She turned to look at him but he was gone! Startled, she pulled over to the side of the road. As she sat there, a police officer stopped to see why she was parked by the side of the road, telling her that it was too dangerous for her to be there. "I'm so shaking up I can't drive," she told him. "Why, what"s wrong?" he asked. She said, "If I told you, you wouldn't believe me!" He asked again what had happened and she told him. The officer said to her "You are the fifth person that has told me this!"

Also...

A man driving along a busy motorway sees a hitchhiker and stops. The hitchhiker gets in and straightaway announces the 'End of the World.' The way he speaks makes a deep impression, but when he says he is an angel, the driver looks round at him incredulously, and at that very moment there is no one there; he has dissolved into thin air. The driver's surprise is immense. He stops the car, looks around him, and sees a police car approaching. "You are by no means the first to tell me this story," says the officer when the driver tells him his tale."

During the latter part of WWII came a pipe-dream rumor which was undoubtedly the most popular of all:

The weird tale of the man who picked up a strange woman in his car. Arriving at her destination, his passenger allegedly offered to pay the man for the gas he had used. But the man refused to accept the money, so the woman offered to tell him his fortune. And, as the rumor went, mysteriously she told him, "There will be a dead body in your car before you get home, and Hitler will be dead in six months." Supposedly, then, on the way home the man had seen a serious automobile wreck and had taken one of the victims into his car to rush him to the hospital. But the injured person died en route, which left the hopeful implication that Hitler would therefore be dead within the following six months.

There are many more listed throughout the internet, the 'vanishing prophet' tales."

Mt.St.Helens Strangeness

"I don't know the validity of the story but it is definitely worth the read:

In 1973 I met two very tall persons, about 8 to 12 feet tall; a man and woman on the side of Mt St Helens. I went there as a prep trip to go canoeing on the, not there now, Spirit Lake. Since it was March, I found the lake under snow drifts so I went up to the top of the mountain to climb it.

As I got out of my VW Super Beetle I was overcome with fear. Terror gripped me.

Try as I might I could not force myself to cross the parking lot to the beginning of the trail where a family was beginning their ascent. I could not move because the fear within me petrified my body.

I then saw in my mind's eye, through my third eye, the mountain blowing up right underneath me. I saw the mountain and the rocks and the trees below me and all around me being superheated and exploding into shreds.

I shouted to the family to get out of there because the mountain was about to blow. They looked at me like I was some nut probably on drugs. I did have long hair in those days.

The day was a beautiful, clear day, and I quickly realized that the sensation I was receiving was only a premonition of an event to come. I fell back into my car and got outta there.

On the way down I stopped at the Lodge where I bought some beer from the owner, Harry Truman, who made a snide comment to me when I stopped to debate getting a bag of chips after buying some beer. I almost, with knowing, said to him that someday he would die up there with his mountain; I didn't, and I left.

Farther down the mountain top as I turned a sharp corner I passed by two persons who were dressed in white robes. At first glance, I thought that they were Hari Krishna's out for a hike, and being twenty miles from Toledo, WA I pulled over and got out to offer them a ride to town.

Immediately, two things happened.

First, as I walked up to them I realized that I had to look up at them like I was looking at the top of a basketball net. That realization freaked me out, but I love an adventure. As I walked up to them, I offered to give them a lift to town.

The woman then turned to the man and said quietly, "I thought we were supposed to meet someone here." The man who also had long hair only slightly raised his right hand in my direction to indicate that I was the contactee they were waiting for.

This point was not lost on me.

Next, a car pulled up and asked me if I was alright. Again my senses told me all was not normal...at all. I "knew" the man and carload of four persons, perhaps a man and his wife in the front seat with his daughter and son in the back seat could not see the tall persons towering over me.

I said that I was simply overtaken by the beauty of the scenery and just had to get out and look at it. Slowly, very slowly, they drove away. I had covered for what then seemed like me talking to imaginary persons.

But they were real, very real.

The woman again turned to the man and said, "He can see us," to which he replied, "He's in an altered state of consciousness."

Then the man turned to me and said, "You deceived them?"

Thinking that I had done them a favor by covering for them, I did not have a ready reply. I then asked them if they wanted a ride to town. I was torn at this point between what I knew about my reality in this dimension and what really knew who was standing before me were beings who were not from this dimension. Yet, I could not wholly accept that fact.

The man turned to the woman and said with a sweeping gesture toward the car "Shall we?"

So they walked to the car. I wanted to tell them about what had just happened on top of Mt. St. Helen. As they approached my Super Beetle I knew that they were very very tall; not normally tall but way tall and would not fit in my car.

I said, "Maybe it's not such a good idea," to which the man replied, "We'll fit fine."

Before my eyes, those two beings began to shrink. The man got into the back seat along with the lady, which in our culture the man would usually get into the front, right?

After they got in the man turned to the woman and said, "Are you okay?" she said, "I'm fine."

I needed a beer. I opened a Bud (this was rural backwoods Washington State and 1973) and offered them a beer too. I took in my now normal-sized guest in the backseat of my souped-up Super Beetle.

Their robes were somewhat soiled and had dirt marks and signs of wear like they had been hiking through the woods. I did not expect this from what I had come to accept as aliens or some kind of angels.

They really looked real. The guy had very long fingers and that's when I saw that, to my surprise, he had six fingers on his hands!

Since I was driving at the time the man said in a polite but commanding voice, "Turn around and watch the road," to which I replied as any young twenty-year-old who had already totaled three cars doing stunts...

"I'm good man. I can drive and talk at the same time."

"What are you drinking?" He said,

"It's a Bud," I said.

"What is that," he said.

"Beer, you know, alcohol."

That's when he said, "Alcohol? That's poison."

My guest hesitated for a few seconds before he spoke again,

"Alcohol is going to cause you a lot of problems in your lifetime." He was right about that.

I turned around again to scope out these two hitchhikers. The young woman smiled. They both looked to be in their early thirties. She had long brown hair. His hair was as long as hers which was at least shoulder-length

I said, "Toledo's twenty miles away. That would have been a long walk," I said.

"What were you doing on the mountain?" he asked.

My mind was fighting with the thought now that I just may have two aliens who just shape-shifted in size in the back of my car, and who just chewed me out for drinking. I was beginning to question my rationality, and what if they wanted to eat me or something?

I told them all about my experience on the mountain and the feeling and the vision I had just had. That's when he began to give me specific details about the date, and the time eruption of Mount St Helen. He even told me how many people were going to die up there.

"About 60 to 70 people will die on that mountain when it erupts," he said.

Sixty-eight died on May 18th, 1980.

Seven years later I would find myself working for Lewis County as a transporter for Senior Services. I had something to do with the red zone being established, but that's another story. I had told so many predictions about the mountain that came true before the eruption that one grandma, just after it erupted, said "You did it! You made that mountain blow up!"

The alien, or whatever, said something that triggered a repressed memory I had. He said it would happen because of the flood that we had prevented that year.

Then I began to feel really strange about this encounter. I was sure that he could not have known about the topographical map I had drawn in my cabin last year, and how I had highlighted in blue everything in the state of Washington under 3,000 feet and written a short story about me and my family living on Mt St Helen Island after the flood, or could he?

"Who are you," I asked.

The woman leaned over to him and quietly with her easy smile asked him, "Should we tell him who we are?"

"No," he said.

Then he said to me, "We're Watchers," he said.

Right about then I knew I had stepped into a forest I did not know the way through.

"I mean what's your name?"

He said his name was, "My name is Geruisyumain."

I said I would not be able to remember his name, and I didn't for thirty-three years. Then in a dream, I heard his name as he had spoken it.

"And my name is Isyu. It's really easy to remember. Just think about it this way. Say "Are you," and you will remember it."

I did remember it. Also, I read something unique about the name IS You and a significance about that name...but again, I can't place what that importance is.. you guys know?

Of all the wonderful questions I could have asked them I failed to do so. I still beat myself up for letting a great opportunity slip through my fingers out of primal fear of the unknown.

We were about ten miles out of Toledo, Washington by then and Gerisyumain said "Pull over, here and when we get out don't look back."

So I pulled over, and let them out. And of course, as I pulled away I looked back to see them grow back to their ten-ish or so feet height and then vanish.

Later, the next year in a total accident, I was pinned inside my Super Beetle on a bridge over a river. With no way out and not knowing how to swim, I was lifted out of the window and flown out over the river. I was set down in front of a car and the driver took me to the hospital.

"Who are you?" she asked.

I'm just a man," I replied. It's all that any of us can be.

Spectral Lady Hitches Ride...Then Vanishes

"It happened like this: Shortly after midnight on July 11, a police officer in Mechanic Falls, Maine stopped to check on a teenage driver who was frantically flashing his headlights. When the cop approached the car, he found a 16-year-old named David who was badly shaken. The kid was in tears and babbling about something that happened moments ago in Poland.

The story David told was a crazy one but not unique. For generations, travelers through this dark place have told tales of a young lady dressed in white hitchhiking along Route 26. Sometimes she's dressed in a prom dress and sits quietly in the passenger seat. Other times, she is a bride dressed in white or a morose young woman with a cautionary message to deliver.

But our friend David had never heard those stories. He sat in his car stammering and trying to explain to the frowning policeman what had happened.

Just before 2 a.m., David was driving on Route 26 bound for Oxford. Amid all the darkness that collects in the middle of the night in Poland, suddenly there was a gleam of light at the roadside.

"She was standing on the side of the road, near the frozen custard place. At first, it was just a white glow," David said. "I drove up closer and saw that it was a woman. She looked to be between 20 and 24. I pulled over and she said, 'Can you bring me to the church on Route 11?'"

You or I might have left 100 yards of peeling rubber on the road as we beat a hasty retreat to a safer and more illuminated patch of the world. Because we have heard the legends before and brother, the Samaritan within us all tends to wither before the mighty force of self-preservation.

But David did the respectable thing and stopped to help the stranger. The woman in white climbed into the car, tucking her gown around her. Past the middle and high schools they drove. The woman in white asked David if he went to school there. They made small talk but she appeared agitated.

"She asked me if I could start driving faster because she was late for her wedding," David said.

Those of us who have been around a while know that when a woman found wandering the back roads starts babbling about going to meet her beloved, what you have on your hands is a ghost. We will take appropriate action, which may include flinging ourselves out the window.

But David steeled up and drove on with the curious woman in the wedding gown. He turned onto Route 11, where even greater darkness gathered, and within a quarter of a mile, he found what appeared to be a church. He stopped between two posts out front and asked his eager rider if this was the right place.

"She looked back at me and she looked like a regular person," David said. "She said, 'A cop is coming.'"

Startled by the comment, David turned to look out the window. Sure enough, the lights of an approaching car appeared and as it passed, he saw that it was a police cruiser. As he continued to watch the police car shrink into the distance, he heard one final word from his passenger.

"She said 'goodbye,'" David said. "When I turned to look at her, she was gone."

I'll give you a moment to rub the chill from your skin.

David is absolutely sure the passenger door of his Camaro was never opened. When he peered out into the night around him, he saw no sign of the woman in white. No brightly glowing gown in all of the blackness along Route 11.

"I was so freaked out," David said. "I didn't stop crying until the next afternoon."

How rattled does a 16-year-old boy in a Camaro have to be to speed off into the night to chase down a police officer? You and I, when we were 16, avoided cops at all costs in the wee hours.

When he found the officer in Mechanic Falls, David begged him for insight. Did you see anyone in my car, officer? Did you see a woman in white climbing out of the passenger side? The officer had seen none of that — only a kid alone in a car sitting at the roadside.

The ghost hitchhiker of Route 26 comes with a variety of stories. In the most common, the woman wandering the dark roads is the murdered bride of George Knight, slashed to death in 1856 in her farmhouse on Route 11. The woman will deliver a warning, or perhaps a prediction, to the person who picks her up. Then she vanishes.

In another version, the roaming woman is the ghost of a young girl killed on her way to the prom. She is said to wander near the Poland Spring Inn, waiting for a ride in her eternal quest to make it to the dance. Like the slain Mrs. Knight, the ghost of the prom girl is said to vanish before the ride is over.

"I don't think it was either of them," David says of his spectral passenger. His research — there is plenty to be found on the Web regarding the ghost of Route 26 — has led him to believe that the lady who sat in his Camaro was a bride struck and killed by a car on the way to her wedding in the 1930s; a woman forever trying to reach the site of that long-ago blessed event and disappearing once she arrives.

David was also told that the man who was to marry the young lady is still alive, an elderly man who lives in Oxford.

The terrain of local legend is a labyrinth of falsehoods, misinformation, and tiny kernels of truth that get built upon and built upon like papier-mache over decades of retelling. David relates his tale with excitement but without the kind of rhetorical battering, you find in those who are trying to convince you of a lie.

I sought him out for this story; he didn't come to me. He spoke to me only hesitantly once I explained what I was after.

And at last, there is a police report on the matter. The prettily dressed lady may not have identified her killer or made her way to the altar or the prom. But at the very least, she climbed her way up out of local lore and into the public record.

It took a brave kid in a Camaro to get her there.

A Tombstone Every Mile

"It's a stretch of road, up north in Maine that's never ever, ever seen a smile…"

Those words from the song "A Tombstone Every Mile" refers to the isolated highway in Maine that most folks called the Haynesville Woods. Country singer Dick Curless recorded this song in 1965 and it proved to be his biggest hit.

For many years, this section of Route 2 has made its way through some lonely and remote parts of Maine. Truck drivers and motorists alike dreaded traveling through the Haynesville Woods, especially during the cold and snowy New England winters. The place naturally developed a sinister reputation.

A native of Maine, Curless was one of the few country stars to come out of the Northeast. He was also a former truck driver who knew all too well the dangers of traveling through the Haynesville Woods. The song talks about all the truck drivers and others who were killed in accidents along this stretch of road, hence the title "A Tombstone Every Mile."

Any place that could inspire a song like this one must be scary. And it is probably haunted by those who didn't make it out of there alive.

For many years, people living in that section of Maine talked about seeing a woman in white walking along the road at night. She would appear out of nowhere in front of a tractor-trailer and ask the startled truck driver for a ride. She would tell the driver that she and her husband had just been in a terrible wreck and they needed help. Those drivers who encountered the mysterious woman said later they could feel a weird chill when she got into their trucks. As they exited the dark Haynesville Woods, the woman would then vanish without a trace, according to a Web site.

The story behind the ghostly hitchhiker was that a newly married couple traveled through the Haynesville Woods one dark night. The husband was drunk and driving and the car crashed into a telephone pole. He died instantly. It is believed that his young wife crawled out of the wrecked car and she froze to death in the snow.

Folks living in that part of Maine believe that the young bride still wanders Route 2, desperately looking for someone to help her.

In another version of the legend, the ghost of a little girl wanders the road between Houlton and Haynesville. Like the young bride, she would try to seek help from truckers and other motorists traveling through there. But in some instances, she would suddenly appear in the passenger or back seats of cars and then just as quickly vanish into thin air.

Some people have talked about driving through the Haynesville Woods at night and seeing a red flashing light off in the distance. It would come closer and closer to their vehicles. Then, a white cloud would float over their vehicle and the flashing light would disappear.

Records from the state of Maine show that two girls, both 10 years old, died on Aug. 22, 1967, in the town of Haynesville. One Website suggests that the ghosts of these girls could be the ones now haunting that lonely stretch of road "that's never ever, ever seen a smile."

Phantom Hitchhiker Sighting Causes Traffic Problems In Northern Ireland Town

This time of year is traditionally associated with high spirits as revelers welcome in another year.

However, a spirit of a different kind has been causing a bit of a commotion outside Coalisland in County Tyrone.

An apparent sighting of a ghost has led to crowds of people descending on the Brackaville area over the holidays.

"At one point, there was a line of up to 60 cars on the Mullaghmoyle Road with people trying to spot it," said Sinn Féin Councillor Desmond Donnelly.

"It wasn't just one night, it was going on for a week or so over the holidays. I'm not sure how it all started - I wouldn't be one for ghosts, but you know how this type of thing spreads.

"If you ask me, it's more likely to be a reflection of the moon on the river that flows through the area. Although the talk is that what was seen was in the shape of a person."

Pat Hughes, speaking at the Central Bar in Coalisland, said the sighting had certainly got people in the town talking.

"Everybody's been talking about it in the bar and it has also caught the imagination of young people," he said.

"It has got to the stage where it's a bit like a drive-in movie."

As with these sorts of things, rumours about what was or was not seen quickly spread. It was claimed the apparition was a woman who had lived locally.

Warren Coates of the Northern Ireland Paranormal Research Association (NIPRA) said he was aware of "previous paranormal activity" in the area.

"It related to a phantom female hitchhiker, but if anybody down there would like us to investigate this latest sighting, we'd only be too happy to help," he said."

Possible JUVENILE BIGFOOT Seen 'Playing' in Northeast Pennsylvania Backyard

I received an interesting report from Lake Ariel, PA in October 2009. This location is near Lake Ariel, an area well-known for cryptid activities.

Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania - October 12, 2009 - 9:00 am

A young child who had been playing around his backyard all morning first heard strange rustling sounds outside and then noticed that all the branch piles and leaves he had set up had been rearranged and piled differently. He rearranged his setup again and then walked around the house for about 15 minutes.

He then came to his backyard to go back to his ‘fort’ and saw at his branch piling site a little human-like creature. He noticed that it was piling sticks in the piling site for him---perfect four-inch around and four-foot across sticks. The little man was climbing trees and snapping out branches. The witness gasped as it nimbly hopped out of trees and dropped sticks onto the pile. The creature was about 4 feet tall with a hunch on his back and covered with brown hair all over. He had such long hair that it covered everything on his body, however, his hands had no hair and they were white. He saw no visible nose but black beady eyes. The creature walked like a monkey.

Stunned, the young witness stood rooted to the spot. Suddenly his legs felt ice cold and he ran away, trembling. As he ran, his legs heated up and felt like they were on fire. The witness locked himself in his room with his Golden Retriever and both fell asleep, but soon woke up to the sound of rustling leaves outside his window. He cracked open his shutter and saw the strange creature racing through the leaves, bouncing up and down, and speeding around in circles. It took a handful of leaves and threw them in the air as it danced under the decaying shower. The witness’s dog growled and the creature stopped ‘dancing’, rooted to its spot. It looked shame-faced at the messed up leaf pile and slouched away.

The witness watched as it made its way to the woods, it then hopped nimbly into the trees and gathered sticks, it then laid them on a pile and suddenly noticed the witness, and it straightened up and grinned at him with crooked, rounded, stubby teeth. It waved its left foot at the witness, as if in a greeting and then disappeared into the treetops.

For the next few days, it left the witness sticks until the witness’s mother saw it and screamed in terror. The witness had started leaving the creature's grapefruit halves which it ate gratefully. But after the incident with the witness's mother, it peeped through its shutters and then never returned." L

TIME SLIP or DIMENSIONAL RIFT on Interstate 83

A New Yorker was driving home from Baltimore, Maryland on I-83 North. When were near Harrisburg, PA, the truck in front of them vanished and they were 50 miles or so back in Maryland.

A reader forwarded the following account:

"Dear Lon. I've been debating with myself on sending this to you, but the small article you have about one person's lost time is making me take the plunge.

It happened back in March 1995. I had traveled from upstate New York down to Baltimore, Maryland for a weekend conference. I was on my way home, had negotiated the nasty interchanges around Baltimore very nicely, and was approaching Harrisburg, PA. (Note: this would be Interstate 83 North. Lon) The sun was low in the sky off to my left and I was listening to a radio station that suddenly became full of static.

I took my eyes off the road for about 1 second, just to find the button for the radio to search for another station automatically. I looked up and the tractor-trailer I had been following - he was about 1/4 mile ahead of me - was gone. Then I realized it was dark. And suddenly I was crossing from PA into MD again.

I was less than calm. I took the next exit off the highway, instantly ended up on a rural road, and spent another half hour finding a town. Thankfully, it had a Pizza Hut, so I went in and ordered dinner. It was nearly 9PM. I'm certain the wait staff thought I was delusional/high/both because I could NOT remember the name of the town - which they had to keep telling me. To this day, I don't remember what the name of the town was.

I called my sister, terrified and not quite hysterical, telling her what happened. I lost 4-5 hours and was still 4 hours from home, but had enough gas to get home. She was sure I had merely gotten lost, and to this day, even though she fully believes in extraterrestrials, tells me I got lost that afternoon. No. I did not.

I don't think about it often, but when I do, the stress it brings with it is rather intense. So, I might as well write about it while I'm stressing as just sit and fret.

I made it home without incident, in the normal period - again - without having to stop for more. I don't drink. I've never done drugs and have always believed in the Paranormal. Nothing like it has happened since, and I've done a fair amount of traveling between then and now. So, I don't know what happened. I have no memory, no flashes, no dreams. Just the recurrent terror of the moment it went from sundown to 9PM." L

(VIDEO) WEREWOLF? Bizarre Quadruped Recorded in Santa Fe, Reconquista, Argentina

Back in July 2024, a video from Argentina emerged that showed an unknown 'animal' lying on a street in Santa Fe, Reconquista. It appeared to be a quadruped, though not yet identified.

A mysterious creature was captured on video in the streets of Santa Fe and has caused a stir on social networks. According to the young man, the footage was sent by a neighbor who was intrigued by the apparition.

The clip, which lasts just a few seconds, shows a strange black animal moving its head with its front legs extended forward.

The reactions of users were immediate. While some claimed that the creature was "the werewolf", a mythical being from Argentine folklore, others dismissed this theory and claimed that it was simply a dog licking its paw.

“It's a mystery, no one knows what it is. “This is not the first time something like this appears." This statement added even more intrigue to the matter, encouraging more users to share their opinions.

The discussion among TikTok users has been intense. “It's the wolf, he walks around Santa Fe a lot,” commented a young man, supporting the supernatural theory. Possible CLICKING 'GLIMMER MAN' Body Blocks Flashlight Beam

An Alabama resident and her son are outside on their property at night. They hear a clicking sound and then the flashlight beam is 'blocked' by an unseen figure or entity.

I received the following account:

"Hi. Lon. I live near Birmingham, Alabama. I have an outside entertainment system that I use a lot during the summer. It's a large projection screen and some outdoor furniture. We use a projector to watch movies late into the night during the summer.

My 16-year-old son and I were out there watching a movie one night. It was around 2 or 3 in the morning. Suddenly I hear a clicking noise. It sounds like electricity clicking on and off. It also sounded a bit like the snapping of a fire. I live on a farm with miles of acreage, so I started to get worried that a freak fire had started. I paused our movie and listened. My son quickly whispered, "I hear it too." I always bring a flashlight out there with us. I picked it up. It's a shop flashlight, so it's very bright. I shinned it out into the open field behind us. I couldn't see anything, but I could still hear the noise.

Suddenly I froze. I was shining the flashlight out onto the field, but I wasn't. Like the beam of light stopped maybe 10 feet away from me. It was like the light was reflecting back at me like it had hit something I couldn't see. I moved the flashlight to the side, and the beam spread out over the ground like it should have. My son, who is afraid of nothing, started to panic. And that scared me. I mean, this kid isn't afraid of anything. He loves True Crime/Missing People docs/horror movies etc, and never has nightmares because of them. He's never been afraid of the dark or anything like that. So the fact that he was scared meant there was something to be afraid of.

He suddenly says, "It's a Glimmer Man. Mom, we have to get out of here now." I had no idea what he was talking about. I'm into the supernatural, but I hadn't heard of that one. I escorted him back into the house and then went out to collect our projector and other items we left there. I couldn't leave that stuff out there. The noise had stopped by the time I got back out there, so I wasn't as afraid. Once I collected everything, I decided to take another look. I needed to make sure a fire hadn't started. I shined the flashlight around, and suddenly, the beam was blocked and then unblocked. It was like something had run through the beam of light. I was really scared by that point, so I ran into the house. Later I looked up accounts of the Glimmer Man, and it seems like what I "saw." M
