POSSIBLE 'VORTEX' & HIGH STRANGENESS Experienced by Campers at Joshua Tree National Park

A group of friends were camping at Joshua Tree National Park. During a night hike, they all experienced unexplained phenomena & physical anomalies. The experiencer is seeking answers.

I received the following account:

"About five years ago me and a group of friends went exploring Joshua Tree National Park in California. We were there for a weekend. Now me and my friends are really into going to areas where no one else would go.

On this particular night, we decided to do a night hike. We all agreed to go in one direction and go straight to not get lost, basically walk in a straight line so if we turned around we knew camp would be in that direction back. We hiked for about 4 hours in this direction. The night was fairly well-lit by the full moon, and we could see so many stars in the night sky, it was incredible, to say the least. As we were hiking we were all talking about scary stories and supernatural things that had happened to us. We continued to walk and I decided we should climb up one of the many boulders to see what was up ahead, any noticeable landmarks.

When we got halfway up one of these massive boulders we started to hear something that sounded like a helicopter. At first, we thought it could have been search and rescue since they might have seen our flashlights from a distance, the vibrations felt like a helicopter was getting closer and closer. The closer the sounds/vibrations got the more powerful these vibrations started to get, to the point that they were so overwhelming that it started tickling all over our bodies really hard, this reaction started making us all laugh uncontrollably. The mixture of fear and uncontrollable laughing was a wave of emotions I’d never felt in my entire life. I remember all of us looking at each other and yelling at the top of our lungs, "What the hell was going on." Of course, it was hard to speak because of the vibration and tickling that was making all of us laugh uncontrollably.

There was a point where it suddenly stopped, and it felt like a helicopter was right on top of us. The best way I can describe it was like being in the eye of a hurricane because in the center of where the noise was it was calm but about 15 feet in every direction dust and debris were swirling around and we were in the middle where the air felt dense. The helicopter sound and vibrations sounded very muffled at this point and the laughing and vibration got less intense. We were all looking up above us because it felt like something was hovering over us. But when we would look up there was nothing. No aircraft no nothing but we knew we were in the middle of some type of vortex. At one point I remember all of us talking to each other but our voices were very muffled like listening to someone talk with your hands over your ears. The last thing I remember was looking at all my friends and us starting to walk towards each other.

The next thing I knew I was waking up back at camp. I was the first to wake up. The weird thing was that after we all woke up we just got to pack up and started to drive off back home halfway on the way home something ticked into my brain and I brought up if anyone remembered what had happened the night before. Suddenly all of us remembered, and we started talking about it. The freaky and weird thing about this experience is that none of us remember how we got back to camp or even walking back to camp. Each of us remembered everything slightly differently but the one thing we can all agree on was that none of us remembered how we got back to camp since we were hours away from the campsite.

I was also left with a physical mark on my hand that I’d never had before the incident, between my middle finger and index finger. I started to feel a small lump that I have to this day. I haven’t been checked by doctors because I don’t want to sound crazy. I’m looking at it as I write this letter.

To this day none of us know exactly what happened. Everyone else moved on with their lives none of us really talked about it. I’m basically the only one who wants to figure out what really happened that night. The rest of my friends kind of shut me up every time I bring it up. I am still left with questions, after that incident years later.

I returned to what I thought was the area where it happened. I went there alone during the day, and I got to the spot where I think it happened. Nothing looked familiar except the only familiar thing wasn’t scenery or any landmarks but that dense air feeling I felt being in the middle of that vortex. But nothing happened that day.

A few years later I went back with one of my friends who was there. Curiosity got to us and we walked in the direction we experienced that. But nothing happened, not even that feeling of dense air. After that experience I had weird and strange things happen to me mostly at night when I’m by myself, and a few times with friends.

I once hiked up Santiago Peak here in Orange County, California with my friend JR (he wasn’t there for the Joshua Tree incident). We noticed a strange blueish-dim light following us, couldn’t have been more than 100 feet in the air. It was about the size of a small drone but there was no sound.

I really don’t know what to make of this, I haven’t shared this with many other people. I wrote to you in the hope that maybe you’ve heard of a similar story or of people having similar experiences. I’m very reluctant to tell other people because when I would share with other friends they laugh it off and I hate it when they make me feel crazy. My other friends who were there won’t back me up and refuse to speak on it. Please let me know if you have heard of anything similar anything that can give me some answers." JM

NOTE: I talked briefly with the witness today, and we plan to talk more this coming weekend. I have received a variety of unexplained reports from the Joshua Tree National Park region, and I reported on many of these incidents. It does seem that JM and his friends encountered a vortex-like anomaly, which could have been the result of an otherworldly encounter.

Possible 9-FOOT-TALL BIGFOOT Encountered in Macomb County, Michigan

I received a telephone call from 'JD' who lives in Macomb County, Michigan. He notices a massive dark figure roaming around the edge of his property.

JD and his wife were returning dishes and other items that were used for a wedding reception in Detroit, Michigan on October 27, 2018. The wedding coordinator was located in Washington Township, MI in Macomb County, north of Detroit. The time was around 1AM on Sunday, October 28th when they arrived at the location.

JD was in the house, getting ready to head home when the coordinator's Schnauzer dog began to bark and scratch at the back door. The coordinator's husband left the dog out and followed it into the backyard. At about the same time, the neighbor called to ask if they could quiet their dog down.

The coordinator's husband (John) was watching the dog, as it continued to bark wildly, as it cowered behind him. John looked in the direction of the dog's attention and noticed a huge dark figure standing at the edge of the property. John stated to JD that the figure was 9 feet tall and bulky. He also noticed that the top of the head was conical, though it was difficult to see much detail.

John slowly moved to his right, and then the figure moved in the same direction. John then moved to his left, and the figure followed. John picked up the dog and began to back up towards the house, continuing to watch the figure. It then crouched down on all fours, taking a threatening stature. John quickly turned and ran into the house.

The next morning, John checked the location where the figure had been standing. He noticed faint footprints that were twice as large as an adult man. JD asked John if he had taken photographs, but he had not.

I WILL NEVER FORGET THOSE SCREAMS!

An anonymous listener (she asked Dave Schrader to not say her name) shared a bizarre story that took place at a Minnesota ski resort.

“In 1975, a ski resort opened about an hour from the Twin Cities next to the St. Croix River. It was not huge and it sat in a sparsely populated area in Minnesota. It was new and it was in an age when there were no cellphones or iPods. All the kids in the school wanted to go there. I joined our school ski club and we went every Thursday. Often enough I got to know the owner and would talk to him about skiing and sometimes ski with him. In 1977 I joined the Navy and went away. Whenever I got leave and came home, it was winter time. I would go to the resort and ski. Each time I would renew my friendship with the owner and join him on the trails to ski until closing time.

One winter I came home and as usual decided to go to the resort. This was a Wednesday. My sister, niece, and one of her friends asked to come with me so we made a night of it. When we arrived at the resort I found myself behind the rental counter. We talked for a while then I made my way to the slopes. The owner was off the skis because of a neck injury so I was skiing alone. It was an off night with hardly anyone at the resort. There were no schools or classes scheduled for that night. It was about 10 degrees with light snow and a slight wind. I thought I would get bored with the skiing but it was fun and time passed quickly. It was the last trip down before I knew it and what I thought was the end of a good day. I returned to the chalet and searched for everyone who needed a ride home with me but they were all missing. I eventually found my sister in the chalet bar and asked her if she had seen our niece and her friend. She said she saw them once standing next to a cross-country trail entrance on a run called Moonshine. This was bad. If they had gone down the run, the girls would be somewhere in the dark woods surrounding the mountain.

I hurried to the front desk, my sister in tow, and told the owner I had to go back up the mountain. My sister asked me to wait for her but I was impatient and skied to the chairlift before she ever got out of the chalet. Now the mountain didn't seem so fun. It was a cold, barren place with a touch of danger. The resort that seemed so familiar to me was changing unpleasantly. The lift operators had been warned of my coming and were ready to let me on. They may not have known my name but we had talked casually through the night each time I used the lift. They too seemed worried. They let me know the ski patrol would be beginning their last check of the runs in a few minutes. As I let the chair catch me behind the legs and lift me into the air, I waved to them and held on to the chair support. There were no people ahead of me in the chairs and I never saw my sister reach the lift before I got too far away to see the base of the hill in the falling snow. A movie about a Bigfoot attacking a ski resort (1977 TV Movie “Snow Beast”) played in my mind when I rode up the trails, a stupid movie so fake it should not have bothered me but I rose up the mountain and I grew frightened, half expecting a Bigfoot to reach up out of the woods and snatch me off the lift.

The bald top of the mountain came into view and by the time I skied off the lift at the top, I was both worried and paranoid. I felt like I was being watched and that to fall or make noise would be a fatal mistake. I poled across the top of the mountain to the entrance of the trail Moonshine. I was completely alone. I looked into the dark entrance of the trail and saw a reflection, a light from further down past a corner. Making as little noise as possible, I skied to the first corner and followed the turn, taking care not to fall. The next corner had a single light on a pole, casting dark shadows at the entrance to the two trails I had come to check. One of the trails was three miles long. The other was 5 miles long. With the fresh snow, I thought if anyone had taken the trails, I could see their tracks and alert the ski patrol to where they were possibly lost in the woods. To say I was frightened was an understatement. I was terrified yet I had no reason to feel like I was being watched or threatened. I had experienced danger in the service but this was nothing like that, it was visceral.

I came to a stop at the lone light and looked at the dark trail entrance. The one to the west had no tracks leading to it. I poled to the next entrance and looked down at the snow. Two sets of tracks crossed the manila rope used to block the entrance of the 5-mile-long trail. The tracks were covered with about a quarter inch of fresh snow. Whoever had made these had crossed the rope within the last hour or two. I stared into the darkness and tried to decide what I had to do but I already knew the answer – I had to go after them. Even if they chose not to go down the cross-country trail, the only way off that trail once you pass the ropes was an expert run that was a chute dropping rapidly to rejoin Moonshine about 200 yards from where I stood. The name of that short trail – The Devil's Run.

I looked back at the trail hoping for a ski patrol person to wave down but I was alone. I started to enter the run but just couldn't seem to cross the rope. I know it was fear that stopped me but I had no obvious reason to fear. I was an expert skier. I knew the trails. So gritting my teeth, I worked my way onto the trail but could not get myself to go into the dark. I turned away and felt shame as the fear grew more intense and made me stop in my tracks. Looking around once more, I confirmed I was still alone. Then almost as if a casual act, I twisted and then shouted my niece's name into the darkness. Immediately two children's voices came from the woods. They screamed in terror, one of them shouting that it was killing them. As the screaming continued I stood there in shock, unable to breathe or move. As quickly as they had come, the screams stopped but I thought I could hear whimpering just over the sound of the trees rustling in the wind. I must have shouted incoherently and moved before my mind began to fully function. I realized I was turning and facing the woods, pointing forward before my mind once again screamed for me to stop. There was something wrong with this situation but I was at a loss for understanding any of it. I just knew I was going into the dark and I would be alone to face whatever was happening to those children. Regretfully, forlornly, I looked back up the trail and with relief, saw a ski patrol coming my way. The whimpering stopped.

When he came to a stop next to me, I rapidly told him what was happening but he had an odd look on his face. It seemed like he thought I was lying to him so I told him I was going down the trail. Anger had defeated the fear that held me before I could go. He stopped me and entered the trail, telling me we would meet at the exit a few hundred yards away. I turned and started to ski but within seconds the man went out of the trail exit without stopping. I worked hard to catch up to him and finally caught him at the base of the mountain near the chair lift. I grabbed his arm and stopped the ski patrol, demanding to know what had happened. He said, 'Nothing was in the woods, just go home!' We argued for a few minutes, me saying there were children up there. He told me to just go home. Finally, I pulled up the chairlift to get on for a ride back up the mountain. The ski patrol yelled at the lift operator to shut it down. The argument got worse and there was almost a fight when I saw my sister coming down the Moonshine with another member of the patrol. I spoke to her but before I could say anything she said they had heard children crying. The ski patrol with her had made my sister come down the mountain without entering the woods. The argument continued at the chairlift for a few more minutes before I realized I could get my friend to let me back up the mountain.

I hurried to the chalet where my niece and her friend were waiting. I charged in to find the owner. He was at the front desk and I quickly told him what happened. My sister joined me as I spoke, confirming the screams of the children. His reaction as I talked was odd as if he'd heard this before. When I asked to be let back up the hill, he told me, no, that it was not something to concern myself over and to think of it as just 'ghosts'. By now, most of the members of the ski patrol were standing behind us. I suspected they were there to keep me from going back up that hill when they moved in front of the door. We all took our ski boots off and I took our sister, niece, and her friend to the car. I did not look back to see if anyone was watching us depart. I was quiet. None of this made sense. My favorite place to ski was tainted and I was determined to come back and look down that trail.

The drive to Stacy (Minnesota) where I dropped off my niece was silent. My sister and I had nothing to say and my niece thought we were mad at her. I did have enough voice to tell her something had happened and I did not want to talk about it. Once they were out of the car, I took the back road to Wyoming. I headed home down a road with few houses. A mile out of Wyoming, I began to feel the fear again only this time it was worse. I looked in the rearview mirror and I saw nothing, no lights of the farm we passed, just an impenetrable darkness. The side view mirrors were the same. As the fear grew, my foot lightened on the accelerator and the car slowed. I could feel the hair on my head pushing against my hat and with amazement, I realized that tears were flowing down my cheeks. I looked at my sister and I realized she was crying too. When I looked to the rearview mirror again, without knowing why I did it I knocked the mirror askew with my right hand. I asked her to look behind the car and tell me what she saw. Slowly she turned and gasped then spun forward and sunk in the seat. She managed to tell me to keep driving. The car had slowed to ten miles an hour. I sped up and tried my best to drive under these circumstances.

After about a half mile, as we passed a farmhouse, the feeling went away as if a person had just switched off a light. We drove the rest of the way home without incident. I asked what she saw and my sister said she saw death was behind us and refused to ever talk about it again. A few days later I returned to the ship. A few years later I was involved in an explosion that took away any skiing for the rest of my life. I never went back to that resort. I never saw the owner again. A few years ago someone finally persuaded me to tell my story and when it was done, he said he was going skiing at that resort in a few days and would ask about ghosts. When he returned he said that more people experienced the same thing we faced that night.

Occasionally I go ghost hunting but I will never go to the resort for personal reasons. I finally asked my sister a year ago what she saw that night. I thought the distance of time would lessen the impact of the event but she is still haunted by it. She told me something huge was sitting in the rear seat. She said it was a huge black shadow with red eyes. I'm left with the same question each time I think about that trip. Who were the children in the woods? (I looked for old murder reports but never found any.) What was killing them? What was in the car that night? My sister felt we would have just disappeared if that thing had wanted us to. Until I die, I will never forget those screams."

Exhumed SAINT'S FACE 'STILL RECOGNIZABLE' 442 Years After Death

Researchers recently reopened the tomb of a centuries-old saint and found themselves “stunned” to discover that the remains were still recognizable.

As reported in the New York Post, a group of Discalced Carmelites, a mendicant order of Catholicism, reopened the tomb of St. Teresa of Avila, a co-founder of their order who died in 1582 and was canonized in 1622.

The members of the Diocese of Avila in Spain reopened the tomb “as part of an intricate process to study the relics of St. Teresa’s heart, hand and arm.” The last time it had been opened was 1914, during which the tomb was photographed.

The nuns and monks, during this recent reopening, took great pains to ensure the tomb was undamaged in the process. “The process to reach the silver urn that Saint Teresa’s body has is very complex,” the diocese said in a translated press release. “First, the marble slab in the tomb had to be removed. Later, in the room set up for the studies to which the Saint’s major relics will be subjected—and only with the presence of the scientific medical team and the members of the ecclesiastical court—has the silver tomb been opened.”

When the tomb itself was finally uncovered, the visible parts of St. Teresa’s remains, her face and foot, were compared to those 1914 photographs. In the press release, Fr. Marco Chiesa notes that those parts “are the same as those they were in 1914.”

“There is no color, there is no skin color because the skin is mummified,“ Chiesa continues, “but it is seen, especially in the middle of the face.” The release noted that “expert doctors see Teresa’s face almost clearly.”

Saint Teresa of Avila, also known as Saint Teresa of Jesus, was born Teresa Sánchez de Cepeda Dávila y Ahumada in 1515. A pivotal figure in the period known as the Contrareformatio, or Counter-Reformation, St. Teresa co-founded the Discalced Carmelites with Saint John of the Cross in 1562. Known today through her religious writings like The Interior Castle, which posited that there were “seven mansions” within the “castle of the soul,” St. Teresa holds special significance within the movement of Catholic mysticism.

Her life, as chronicled in her autobiography La Vida de la Santa Madre Teresa de Jesús, still fascinates many Catholics, particularly within the Discalced Carmelite order, and this re-examination of her relics could shed greater light on her later years. “Sometimes,” Chiesa told the New York Post,“ looking at a body, you discover more than the person had [spoken about].

“We know that the last few years were difficult for her to walk,” Fr. Chiesa remarked in the press release, “Analyzing the foot [relic] in Rome, we saw the presence of calcareous spines that make walking almost impossible.”

The Post notes that the examination of the corpse “is still in the early stages,” but that Chiesa hopes the endeavor “will teach researchers how to better preserve relics.”

(VIDEO) Hikers Photograph 20-FOOT-TALL HUMANOID Clinging to Colorado Mountainside

Two hikers were left stunned after encountering a frightening 20-foot-tall figure clinging to the side of a Colorado mountain. The lanky gray creature on camera.

Jessee Clauson, 29, and Camille Avarella, 28, were descending Longs Peak in the Rockies when they unwittingly caught the lanky gray creature on camera as it appeared to scale the crag.

The Denver-based duo didn't see the beast at the time of their trek on August 24 - but noticed it lurking in the backdrop of a photograph as they reminisced about the adventure weeks later.

'I was shocked to the bone when we were looking at the picture,' behavior analyst Clauson.

'We didn’t take the picture because we saw that thing - we just took it because the mountain range was pretty.’

Clauson said they set off on the intrepid walk at 2am to conquer the 14,000-foot crag by dusk the next day.

She said they had been walking for seven hours when they snapped the figure just after scaling the peak at around 9am.

'We were in full adrenaline mode so we weren’t really paying attention.' said Clauson.

Graphic designer Avarella explained that they were sharing the photographs with family on a plasma screen TV when they first noticed the creature.

They zoomed in after noticing an odd white coloration on the side of the crag.

'Camille’s dad said, “What the hell, that thing is at least 20 feet or so” and Camille was like, “Should we call the rangers?”’ Clauson recalled.

'We were all like: "What the hell is that?"'

‘It could be a rock,' Avarella added. ‘But it has all the features of something human.’

‘We are open to interpretations,' said Clauson.

‘It was so far away it couldn’t really do anything to us. I like to think it was an alien.’

‘The anatomy is so human-like, it’s freaky as hell,' added Avarella.

The duo said that although they're keen to see the creature again, they won't be embarking on the 15-hour trek ever again.

'I hope someone else does it and sees it,' Clauson said.

GIANT SINGING SPIDER From the CATACOMBS OF ISSOIRE

I recently noticed this old account. It's an interesting monster/cryptid tale that was reprinted in the 'The Piqua Daily Call' on August 18, 1894:

For many years it is undeniably stated that in the fourteenth arrondissement of Paris--called the Catacombs of Issoire--a number of persons living in that quarter had mysteriously and periodically disappeared. The most careful researches, the most minute inquiries, the most skillful agents of the police had failed to discover the least trace of them. Every year successively some inhabitants of this quarter would suddenly disappear, leaving their friends overwhelmed with grief and anxiety. It is also stated that these strange, inexplicable facts always occurred in the early spring--from the 20th to the last of March--and without regard to age or sex.

First a notary disappeared. It was thought he had used his client's funds and fled to parts unknown. Then an old woman, returning late one night from market, was the next victim, then a laborer going home from work. The last victim had been a young girl--a flower maker out late delivering her goods. From that time she had as completely disappeared as if the earth had opened and swallowed her up. Strange to say, no children had been among the victims. This peculiar fact was accounted for in this way. These mysterious disappearances always occurred late at night, when the children were at home asleep.

As the time was drawing near for one of these periodical mysteries the chief of police became very anxious and instituted a strict surveillance, confiding the matter to a number of the most skillful of his assistants, hoping the combined efforts of so many zealous agents would surely be crowned with success. You will now see the result.

One night--this fact can be verified by applying to the office of the prefecture--a policeman at about 3 o'clock in the morning heard a distant musical song, which seemed to come from the bowels of the earth. He listened and fancied the sounds came from an opening in the center of the street, at the foot of an enormous rock called the tomb of Issoir, or the Giant's cave. It may be interesting to state that this rock derived its name from a legend that a great giant had been buried there many years before the Christian era, and this rock had been placed there to mark the tomb. Surprised at this strange discovery--for the opening had never been noticed before--the policeman waited, listening to this peculiar song, when he suddenly saw a young man approaching. He knew from his costume that he was a countryman lately arrived in the city. This young man also seemed to hear the subterranean sounds, first walking slowly with a peculiar wavering step, as if in cadence with this musical chant, then faster and faster as he drew near the fatal rock, until he ran with such velocity that in spite of the warning cries of the policeman he was swallowed up in this mysterious opening. Without taking a moment to consider the policeman recklessly followed, first firing his revolver and giving one or two vigorous blasts on his whistle. At this signal several of his comrades quickly arrived.

The musical chanting had ceased, but they could hear in the dark, cavernous depths the muffled sounds of a desperate struggle. By the aid of ropes and ladders they succeeded in entering this mysterious chasm. The light of their lamps revealed a sickening sight. The countryman was lying on his back writhing in the grasp of an unknown monster, whose horrible aspect froze the agents of police with terror. It was as large as a full grown terrier, covered with wartlike protuberances and bristling with coarse brownish hair. Eight jointed legs, terminated by formidable claws, were buried in the body of the unfortunate victim. The face had already disappeared. Nothing could be seen but the top of the head, and the monster was now engaged in tearing and sucking the blood from his throat. As soon as they recovered from their horror and surprise a dozen balls struck the body of this sanguinary beast. He raised up on his legs, a greenish, bloody liquid flowing from his wounds, and, with a frightful cry, expired. The first policeman, who had given the alarm, was lying unconscious in one corner of the cavern, where he had fallen, a distance of 30 feet. It was with great difficulty they succeeded in removing the two bodies and the unknown monster from the cavern. The poor countryman was dead, but the policeman was soon restored to life.

The agents immediately sent for the commissioner of police, who summoned a naturalist in great haste. The first established the identity of the victim; the second declared the creature lying before him was a gigantic spider. The species had been considered extinct for centuries--ever since the days before the deluge. It was called "Arachne gigans" and was said to have the power of enticing its victims by a peculiar musical song. None had been seen or heard of for ages, but it is now believed some of these sanguinary beasts still exist in the deepest galleries of the catacombs. The dead body of the spider was conveyed to the Museum of Natural History, where it was carefully prepared and stuffed and is now on exhibition.

NOTE: This account reads like an Edgar Allan Poe allegory. Is it fact or fiction? The monster was 'carefully prepared and stuffed and is now on exhibition'. Well, I'm not sure of that. If so, does anyone have an image of the supposed exhibit? Lon

DID I ENCOUNTER A PUKWUDGIE?

The eyewitness describes an unknown 3-foot-tall humanoid in their house. It had a menacing expression, and the feeling of terror enveloped them. What did they encounter?

I received the following account:

"Hi. Around 2010 I saw something in my house. I was up studying, it was around 2am. I had my 160lb Roman Rottweiler sitting on the bed with me. For reference he wasn't really scared of anything, he was well-trained and always followed my commands without hesitation. He's also a very friendly dog despite the reputation of Rottweilers being more of a "loves the family but suspicious of others" breed.

Normally when there is a bear outside he can tell and he'll give me that low quiet growl and walk to the door. I let him out and he'll chase it off, he knows to not pursue or attack it. He doesn't even react to deer in the yard because he knows they're no threat.

Back to my studying, if I remember correctly it was bovine anatomy. I had finished my notes and decided to change my music. All of a sudden he starts whimpering, he doesn't really do that unless it's something serious. Once when he got bit by a snake and the other time was when a tornado got close.

I loved on him, patted him and told him to "stop that whining." I guess it didn't click at the time that something might have been wrong. He jumps up suddenly, posted up. Teeth showing, guttural growling and his scruff is on end. He's staring at my bedroom door so I look to see what it is that has him so freaked out.

This thing was about 3 feet tall. It had a pointed nose and ears. The eyes were long and bloodshot looking, the pupils were way bigger than they should have been. Looking at them was like staring into a dark hole. It's hair was long and matted, really dirty looking. It's arms/hands/feet seemed longer than they should have been. I couldn't tell exactly what it was wearing but it looked like some kind of hooded poncho that was tattered and covered in mud. It's skin was almost an olive color but was covered in dirt. The lips were extremely think and it had a kind of smirk on its face.

I couldn't even move, I just had a hold on my dog. Unable to speak I'm sitting there just staring at this thing. Then it f**king smiled at me revealing sharp teeth. When I say sharp teeth I mean it looked like when a person files their teeth into points. All the while my dog is still growling like I've never heard. I buried my head in my dog and didn't move for what felt like hours, in reality 10 minutes had passed. I guess that kid part of me came out and I was doing the equivalent of hiding under the blanket so the monster can't get you.

Even though I was terrified he seemed to calm down after a while and I looked up, this thing was gone. I grabbed him by the collar and drug him through the house with me so I could make sure all the doors and windows were locked. My front door was wide open when I made it into the living room.

I didn't sleep that night and I didn't sleep well for a good while after that afraid this thing would come back. I noticed after the incident I started waking up with my dog laying over my body like he was trying to pin me. This lasted for weeks but eventually stopped. He still followed me anywhere I went though, I couldn't even close the bathroom door without him trying to get in.

Just thinking about that thing still fills me with a sense of dread and terror. I've always lived alone so it's not as if a roommate planked me and there's no way what I saw was human.

It's crazy to think that if you told others they'd think you're crazy or think you're just telling them a spooky story. I came across a story about 6 years ago that was extremely similar after some extensive searching. I just had to figure out what it was.

I've never seen anything like that and I've never experienced anything weird like that again. Life moved on but I still think about that encounter. I know I wasn't asleep and I know I'm not crazy. All of my searching just led me to things like fairy-folk. I don't even believe in that stuff.

Maybe this isn't the appropriate place to post this but I figured I ought to give it a try and see if any of you might know. Sorry about the poor structure this is a bit of a rant. I've never really told people about this and it has my mind buzzing." S

The witness sent this update:

"After someone suggested it was a troll I googled sightings in my area. A few counties over in 2008 a woman claimed to have seen something that is similar to what I saw.

There are also other reports mostly involving encountering these things on the road. But they seem to be larger in stature.

I've been up all night searching and the closest thing I came up with was the Pukwudgie though those seem to be "native" to Massachusetts as far as I can tell.

After reading about them though one thing stuck me as odd. They start fires. My house burnt down a few months after seeing this thing and they couldn't ever identify what caused it. I almost died and was in the hospital for a few months due to scarring on my lungs." S

FACELESS PEOPLE Seen Through Spiritual & Mind's Eye

An experiencer observes a couple walking together and other people walking individually. About every other person's face that I saw was "smooth," flesh-colored, but the faces had no features.

I received the following account:

“When I was in my late 20s living in a suburb of Los Angeles, I was driving alone towards a shopping center near my home. It was about 2:30 on a weekend afternoon. And, as usual, I saw people (adults) walking on the sidewalk and happened to be looking on the left. There was a couple walking together and other people walking individually. About every other persons face that I saw was "smooth". They were flesh colored -- but the face absolutely had no features. I thought that I had to be losing my mind? I braked instantly and turned my head to be able to see more clearly and again, I saw that there were people who had faces and those who didn't.

I've never seen that again and pretty much kept it to myself until one day my sister and I were talking about strange things that we had seen over our lifetime. And, my sister tells me the story of when she and her husband had first got married and had became very involved in the Christian church that they went to. They had left church one Sunday evening and had gone into a near by McDonalds that was always quite busy. They had taken a seat in one of the booths. Her husband excused himself to use the men's room. My sister sat alone waiting for him to return -- when all of a sudden this man in a dark rain coat came up to their table and stood there and when my sister looked up into his face -- his head was shaking abnormally fast from side to side -- so fast that she could barely make out his features. But, she could see that there were no facial features, there was no nose, no eyes or mouth. She said that about the same time her husband was on his way back to the table and as he was walking up -- he saw the terror on his wife's face and he yelled at the man and ask him, "What are you doing? Get away from my table! Get away from my wife!" The man turned so fast and hurriedly walked away and out the doors of the restaurant.

I had never told anyone about my seeing the people on the sidewalk that day that had no facial features. And, I was so amazed that my sister had her own experience with seeing one. So, I then told her what I had seen. My sister's husband told her that he feels that sometimes -- some of us -- are able to see others "through spiritual eyes" and that our spirits (our souls) are able to see demonic beings that are walking among us. And, that made a lot of sense to me. I think that we each have the ability to see evil spirits that are among us -- but it is on very rare occasions that the ability is tapped into. Or perhaps, it's that God prevents us from seeing them because they are so frightening and for us to see them would be too much. I had no idea that there were so many other cases out there where others have seen the same thing? Finding this video amazed me and gave me chills to know that what I saw wasn't a hallucination. And, that I'm not crazy!" M

NOTE: The account referenced faceless beings, which I have posted about as well. Was this a sixth sense, mediumship, or another ability? I can sense spirit energy, but have occasionally 'seen' the energy as well (through my mind's eye). Some people can see spirits in photographs (which I cannot). There are many variables in the context of intuitive abilities. But I also feel that personal development in the law of attraction is instrumental. Lon
