A Week of Quiet Repose

2012-04-14 13.02.43

Life has been rather busy of late. In fact, at the end of last week, I could feel mental exhaustion waiting like a wild dog at the edge of my mind. I knew I needed a break. I couldn’t take a break from work this week, but I knew I could take amentalbreak after work hours. So, every day this week, I set the following challenges for myself after I “clocked out”:

Wednesday Wanderment

IMG_2559

Happy Wednesday! I’m gonna keep this introduction short and sweet today, because I know you really came here for the linkup. It’s been mighty cold in my neck of the woods this week (which is weird for spring…) and I’ve been enjoying evenings spent snuggled up in a blanket with a good book. In my interweb wanderings this week, I’ve discovered the following awesome posts:

Favorite Blog of the Week:

This spring, I’m goingepic fantasy/sci-fi. I’ve been on a C.S. Lewis kick and have big plans to finishThe Space Trilogy before summer. Lewis’ stuff, I need to finish my third (or fourth…) reread ofSon of the Shadows and then I want to check outFlame of Sevenwaters! I feel like I’ll only be satisfied with my spring reading if I’m going all out on mythical, legendary stories...
