Trump Might Be Making A Massive Mistake By Refusing To Debate
Donald Trump didn’t just announce that he would not be participating in the first Fox News debate, but he said that he would not be doing ‘debates’ which puts future debates in jeopardy, and it may be a terrible decision.
Trump posted on Truth Social, “New CBS POLL, just out, has me leading the field by “legendary” numbers. TRUMP 62%, 46 Points above DeSanctimonious (who is crashing like an ailing bird!), Ramaswamy 7%, Pence 5%, Scott 3%, Haley 2%, Sloppy Chris Christie 2%, “Aida” Hutchinson 1%. The public knows who I am & what a successful Presidency I had, with Energy Independence, Strong Borders & Military, Biggest EVER Tax & Regulation Cuts, No Inflation, Strongest Economy in History, & much more. I WILL THEREFORE NOT BE DOING THE DEBATES!”
Either Trump is making an epic mistake by trusting polling that has been shaky for years now, or he is so far ahead that the Republican presidential primary is over before any votes are cast.
Trump has been saying for months that he wasn’t going to participate in the debates, so this announcement was confirmation of what everyone has been expecting.
Where this could get very interesting is if the ratings for the Fox News debate are low without Trump. If Fox only does the same number of viewers that they would normally do in primetime, which is roughly 2-2.5 million viewers, sponsors will think twice about going forward with future debates since primary debates are entertainment programming that the cable networks rely on to drive ratings.
If Trump decides he’s not doing any primary debates, and no one watches the debates that are held, the planned debate schedule could wither away quickly.
Trump is only thinking about protecting his GOP primary lead, but what if the polls are wrong and he loses Iowa or New Hampshire? What if Trump refuses to do any debates, and then shows up to debate Biden rusty and unprepared?
Donald Trump wants the Republican nomination handed to him, but if he is wrong about the debates, he could be making a massive mistake.
It is very possible that Trump might have killed the Republican primary debate schedule, and it may come back to haunt him.

During a recent episode of his podcast, Joe Rogan threw cold water on the left’s obsession with climate change.
While speaking to former CIA officer Mike Baker, Rogan pointed out that even if the United States went to zero carbon emissions, it wouldn’t make any difference because China and India are the world’s biggest polluters and they certainly aren’t changing their behavior.
Rogan may not be a conservative, but it’s great when he has these moments where he defies the leftist narrative.

During the August 16 edition of The Joe Rogan Experience, host Joe Rogan and former CIA officer Mike Baker drew attention to the climate radicalism roiling the West. Rogan did not mince his words when referring to “climate change” alarmism. “You’re not saving jack sh*t,” Rogan bluntly said, referring to “climate change” activists.
Rogan’s comments came during an exchange with Baker about the countries that bear the most responsibility for carbon emissions. Baker put it plainly, “China produces more carbon than all the developed nations combined.” Rogan agreed, further spelling it out for leftists. “Which is very important to talk about when people are talking about going green. Because the amount of impact that would happen even if the United States went to zero– went to zero carbon output, you’re not going to put a dent in what’s happening to the world because most of it is coming from China and India.”
Rogan finished strong, telling his viewers not to be taken in and sacrifice their quality of life for no reason. “So all this shit about don’t eat meat because we’re gonna save the world. You’re not saving jack shit,” Rogan added. “I don’t understand where that message is coming from or why there’s not a nuanced perspective where people are taking into account all these other variables.”

Hunter’s Lawyers Threatened to Put Joe Biden on the Stand | The Gateway Pundit
Hunter Biden’s lawyer Chris Clark threatened to put Joe Biden, AKA, “The Big Guy,” AKA, “Robert L. Peters,” on the stand, according to a 32-page letter reviewed by Politico.
The letter, penned in October 2022, issued a warning: Joe Biden could be called to the witness stand if the feds charge Hunter.
Politico reported:
It was Halloween of 2022, and Hunter Biden’s lawyer, Chris Clark, didn’t sound happy. Just three weeks earlier, news had leaked that federal agents believed they had enough evidence to charge his client with illegally buying a gun as a drug user.
The leak was “illegal,” the lawyer wrote to the U.S. attorney overseeing the probe. The prosecution, he argued, would be seen as purely political, and it might even violate the Second Amendment.
Then he issued a warning: If the Justice Department charged the president’s son, his lawyers would put the president on the witness stand.
“President Biden now unquestionably would be a fact witness for the defense in any criminal trial,” Clark wrote in a 32-page letter reviewed by POLITICO.
That letter, along with more than 300 pages of previously unreported emails and documents exchanged between Hunter Biden’s legal team and prosecutors, sheds new light on the fraught negotiations that nearly produced a broad plea deal. That deal would have resolved Biden’s most pressing legal issues — the gun purchase and his failure to pay taxes for several years — and it also could have helped insulate Biden from future prosecution by a Republican-led Justice Department.
Late last month Hunter Biden arrived at court in Delaware to agree to a sweetheart deal by the Biden Department of Justice on his years of criminal drug use, trafficking prostitutes, and multi-million dollar pay-for-play and bribery schemes with foreign officials from China, Ukraine, Romania, etc.
Hunter was only charged with two misdemeanors related to tax fraud and he will avoid prison time on the gun charge.
The sweetheart deal fell apart after the judge rejected the prosecutors’ request for Hunter Biden to receive immunity from future charges.
Federal prosecutors recently said that Hunter Biden’s plea negotiations are at an impasse and asserted the case is headed for a trial in a court filing.
Prosecutors said the venue for Hunter Biden’s tax-related charges lies either in California or DC, not Delaware.
“Venue for these offenses does not lie in Delaware. Rather, venue for these offenses and any other related tax offenses lies either in the Central District of California or in the District of Columbia. The information was filed in this District because the parties had previously agreed that the Defendant would waive any challenge to venue and plead guilty in this District. However, during the July 26, 2023, hearing that the Court set on this matter, the Defendant pled not guilty. Since that time, the parties have engaged in further plea negotiations but are at an impasse. The Government now believes that the case will not resolve short of a trial,” the filing said.
“Now that the parties are at an impasse, a trial is in order,” they wrote. “Venue must be proper for each count of an indictment.”
The Delaware judge on Friday dismissed Hunter Biden’s tax charges.
Hunter Biden is expected to face the same or similar charges in DC or California after US Attorney from Delaware Dave Weiss was given special counsel status.

DEVELOPING: Hurricane Hilary Downgraded to Category 2 Storm as Southern California Braces for Impact | The Gateway Pundit
Hurricane Hilary was downgraded to a Category 2 storm with maximum sustained winds at 110 mph Saturday evening as it made its way up Mexico’s Baja California peninsula.
Hilary peaked as a powerful Category 4 on Thursday night and began to weaken as she reached cooler waters.
For the first time ever Southern California is under a Tropical Storm warning.
Southern California is bracing for impact.
San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles and local mountains are bracing for gusty winds (70 mph) and flooding.

Residents on Catalina Island were told to evacuate on Saturday before the storm made landfall in the US.
Portions of inland Southern California were already hit with thunderstorms and strong winds on Saturday.
Coastal areas of Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego Counties are anticipating 2-4 inches of rain.
Mountains and low deserts may get up to 10 inches of rain.
Residents are on alert for flash flooding, mudslides, damaging winds, and high surf.
AccuWeather reported:
Hilary was making its presence felt in Southern California at the beginning of the weekend despite steadily losing wind intensity off the coast of Baja California. AccuWeather meteorologists warn that impacts from Hilary are likely to be highly disruptive, damaging and dangerous as the storm flings copious amounts of moisture northward into early week.
AccuWeather meteorologists are concerned that a life-threatening flooding disaster may unfold in some of the desert areas and mountains in Southern California to southern Nevada, where more than a year’s worth of rain could fall.
“The impact from Hilary has the potential to be an extraordinary event, one that is rare and unprecedented,” AccuWeather Director of Forecasting Operations Dan DePodwin said.
California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) declared a state of emergency for Southern California on Saturday.

Three people that I indisputably got Elected, two Governors and a V.P., Brian Kemp of Georgia, Mike Pence of Indiana, & Ron DeSanctimonious of Florida, just met, most likely to talk about the “weather,” or perhaps to discuss how they can stop the Weaponization of Georgia Law, working with the DOJ and others, against their absolutely, all-time favorite President, ME. All three have been just wonderful, so loyal and nice. It’s great to have friends like this!”
Trump’s sarcasm was a thin cover for what he was suggesting that the three Republicans got together at an event in Georgia to conspire against him. Trump has been angry at Kemp since the Georgia governor would not overturn the state’s 2020 election results for him. Trump has been angry at DeSantis for running against him for the Republican presidential nomination, and he tried to have Mike Pence killed by his supporters after Pence would not participate in his coup plot.
Donald Trump has always been paranoid, but since the indictments, he has been getting worse.
Trump is coming apart as he is running away with the Republican presidential nomination, which could set up a dangerous dynamic for the 2024 election.

Host Sean Hannity pressed Noem on the subject, noting she had in the past demurred on questions about potentially running for president given her popularity.
“This is a different question. And I will tell you that, of course, I would consider it,” she said.

To have a white guy come in here, who also said by the way about Mitt Romney, because he didn’t want to put up more regulation on Wall Street he was going to ‘put y’all back in chains.’ And Joe Biden has lied for decades on his civil rights record, claiming he desegregated movie theaters and restaurants in Wilmington, Delaware. He didn’t do any of that. He lied and said he tried to visit Nelson Mandela during apartheid South Africa, he did not. He came in here and told you that you aren’t black unless you think in a certain kind of way? It seems to me that should have been a n—- wake up call for you, but it wasn’t.
