iPhone 15 Pro vs iPhone 13 Pro: Is it worth the upgrade?
Apple has revealed the iPhone 15 Pro alongside the rest of the iPhone 15 collection, boasting a number of upgrades and new features to tempt consumers in 2023.
While the upgrades compared to its predecessor, the iPhone 14 Pro, are fairly minimal, the changes are much more vast when compared to the iPhone 13 Pro. And, considering the phone is now two years old, that means there are a lot of mobile contracts about to expire.
So, the question is, is the iPhone 15 Pro a good upgrade for the iPhone 13 Pro? While we’re yet to go hands-on with the iPhone 15 Pro, we’ve spent a lot of time with the iPhone 13 Pro, and here’s how the two stack up on paper.
The iPhone 15 Pro is much more powerfulOne of the biggest differences between the iPhone 13 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro is performance. The A15 Bionic of the iPhone 13 Pro is a strong chipset that, even two years later, delivers strong everyday performance without a hint of stutter or lag, but compared to the A17 Pro of the iPhone 15 Pro, it’s positively ancient.
For one, the new A17 Pro – exclusive to the 15 Pro and Pro Max – is built on the 3nm process, a first in the mobile chipset market. This not only gives the iPhone 15 Pro the edge compared to older iPhones, but the very best Android smartphones on the market.
The smaller process allows the iPhone 15 Pro to be both more powerful and more energy efficient than its predecessor, which could potentially translate to better battery life too. We’ll have to wait to benchmark a review sample before we can say for sure, however.
The iPhone 15 Pro has a more powerful primary cameraThe iPhone 13 Pro boasted a pretty decent camera setup for the time, with a triple rear camera system comprised of 12MP main, ultrawide and 3x telephoto lenses able to take great images in both well-lit and low-light conditions.
The iPhone 15 Pro, on the other hand, has had a few big upgrades since the release of the iPhone 13 Pro. It saw a big jump in camera performance in the form of a 48MP sensor in the iPhone 14 Pro, and while this year’s 48MP sensor remains the same on paper, it boasts a larger sensor, better sensor-shift OIS and better image processing tech.

While we’re yet to go hands-on, this looks like a particularly promising update for the main camera, though the 12MP main and 3x telephoto lenses remain near-identical to that of the iPhone 13 Pro.
It’s also capable of capturing 4K@60fps in Apple’s ProRes format, as well as capturing with LOG for better post-production colour correction.
So, if you’re a keen iPhone photographer, you’ll enjoy the boosted quality on offer from the newer model.
The iPhone 15 Pro has Dynamic Island display techWhile it’s not new to the iPhone 15 Pro specifically – it was first revealed on the iPhone 14 Pro last year – the newer iPhone boasts support for Apple’s Dynamic Island tech.
It’s essentially a redesigned notch that’s shaped more like a pill, sitting a couple of millimetres below the top of the display. What makes it so unique compared to the larger smartphone market is how Apple has tied the notch into the software experience, rather than trying to ignore it.
This means the Dynamic Island notch can change shape to display different information, be it a timer you’re currently running or music controls for the music you’re listening to. It also boasts support for Live Activities that essentially allow apps to deliver live information to you via the Island, be it the latest football scores or an update on your fast food delivery.
The iPhone 15 Pro should feel nicer in the handAs well as an upgrade to the material used in the iPhone 15 Pro’s chassis, upgraded from stainless steel to brushed titanium, the iPhone 15 Pro has slightly contoured edges that make it a little less angular than older iPhones in the series without completely changing the look of the iPhone.

This means that, compared to the iPhone 13 Pro, the iPhone 15 Pro should feel more comfortable in the hand with curved edges that should fit more nicely into the palm of your hand. Slimmer bezels also mean the iPhone 15 Pro is slightly thinner and shorter than the iPhone 13 Pro, making it a slightly more pocketable option too.
The iPhone 15 Pro uses USB-CLast, but by no means least, the iPhone 15 Pro offers an upgrade in terms of hardware connectivity. While the iPhone 13 Pro, like most other iPhones in Apple’s collection, sports a Lightning port, the iPhone 15 Pro ditches that for the more widely used USB-C connector.
It’s a move ushered in by EU courts following a ruling that all phones sold in Europe should have a standard charging connector, and given that USB-C is already ubiquitous in the smartphone market, it’s the smart choice.
The iPhone 15 Pro, in particular, boasts USB 3.0 support, allowing data transfer speeds up to 10Gbps – up from the less than 500MB/s on offer from the Lightning cable. It won’t make much difference in day-to-day tasks, but it’ll at least allow you to charge your iPhone using the same cable you use to charge your MacBook or iPad.

ABC News Plays Defense for Biden Over House GOP Impeachment Inquiry (VIDEO) | The Gateway Pundit
Now that House Speaker Kevin McCarthy is finally launching an impeachment inquiry of Joe Biden, we will get to see most of the media pull a complete 180 degree turn on impeaching presidents.
On ABC News, it has already started.
In their coverage of the issue, they repeatedly refer to House Republicans as ‘far right’ and ‘hard right.’ They also say that there is ‘no evidence’ or ‘no hard evidence’ of any wrongdoing by Biden.
This is the media gearing up to defend their party and it’s so obvious.
NewsBusters has details:
On Tuesday morning, House Republican Speaker Kevin McCarthy announced the opening of an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden for numerous instances of abuse of power and obstruction of justice that congressional investigators have uncovered. By Tuesday evening, ABC’s World News Tonight and CBS Evening News were enraged over the impeachment inquiry that was launched.
ABC was by far the worst during their coverage, with both anchor David Muir and Capitol Hill correspondent Rachel Scott howling over the news and lobbing smears against Republicans like “hard right” and “far-right.”
“Under intense pressure from hard-right Republicans in the House, Speaker Kevin McCarthy is now launching an impeachment inquiry into President Biden,” Muir huffed.
“McCarthy said just two weeks ago that there would need to be a vote for this, but tonight, now saying he’s launching it, no vote,” he added.
Muir made sure to hype the fact that all Democrats and a few weak, feckless, liberal Republicans were against the impeachment of Biden: “Democrats, even some Republicans, have been skeptical there’s any clear evidence to take this step. And politically, could it backfire?”

— World News Tonight (@ABCWorldNews) September 13, 2023
Th media did not exercise any of this caution when Democrats were impeaching Trump. There were no descriptions of Democrats as the far left. There were no questions about evidence or whether it could backfire.
The media is the propaganda arm of the Democrat party. Everyone knows it and there is no going back.

iPhone 15 Pro Max vs iPhone 14 Pro Max: What’s new?
Apple has announced the new iPhone 15 Pro Max smartphone, becoming the most expensive and feature-packed option in the iPhone lineup.
But what are the new upgrades for the iPhone 15 Pro Max compared to the preceding iPhone 14 Pro Max? We’ve created this comparison guide to highlight the key differences, so you can judge for yourself whether it’s worth upgrading.
New titanium designApple has opted for an all-new titanium build for the iPhone 15 Pro Max, therefore ditching the stainless steel frame of the previous iPhone 14 Pro Max.
So why has Apple decided to switch allegiance to titanium? The brand claims the titanium material allows it to reduce the weight of the phone. This rings true in the specs, with the iPhone 15 Pro Max said to weigh 221 grams, and the iPhone 14 Pro Max hitting the scales at 240g.
Apple also suggests the titanium build is sturdier, boasting one of the highest strength-to-weight ratios of any metal.
Credit: AppleiPhone 15 Pro Max has 5x optical zoomApple has upgraded the camera for the iPhone 15 Pro Max with a 5x optical zoom. Apple claims this is the longest optical zoom ever, allowing you to take more detailed photos of faraway objects.
For comparison, the iPhone 14 Pro Max only has a 3x optical zoom, the same which you’ll find on the new iPhone 15 Pro. That’s still an excellent zoom capability, but the iPhone 15 Pro Max certainly boasts an advantage here.
More powerful A17 Pro chipThe iPhone 15 Pro Max has been treated to a performance boost thanks to the inclusion of the new A17 Pro chip. This new processor offers a 10x CPU performance increase, and 20x GPU upgrade compared to the A16 Bionic chip that powers the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
The new iPhone 15 Pro Max has such a powerful performance that it can now run games such as Resident Evil 4 Remake, Death Stranding and Assassin’s Creed Mirage. These games won’t be playable on the iPhone 14 Pro Max.

New Action ButtonApple has ditched the volume switcher in favour of a multi-purpose Action button for the iPhone 14 Pro Max. You’re able to customise this button so it can trigger your camera, flashlight, voice memos and accessibility feature. The button also supports haptic feedback, as well as support with Dynamic Island, so you know when your inputs have been successfully registered.
The iPhone 14 Pro Max lacks the Action button, instead featuring the older volume switcher. This Switcher didn’t have multiple customisable functions like the iPhone 15 Pro Max, although did make it easier to toggle between ring and silent modes.
USB-C port added to iPhone 15 Pro MaxApple has finally ditched the Lightning port, and added a USB-C connection to the iPhone 15 Pro Max. This was a forced decision, with the EU making it mandatory for smartphones to adhere to the universal port, but it’s still a welcome upgrade.
Thanks to the support of USB 3, Apple claims it can reach data transfer speeds of up to 20Gbps, which is apparently 20x faster than before. This will come in handy whenever you are transferring files between iPhone and Mac via a cable.
The iPhone 14 Pro Max is stuck on the older Lightning connection, and so offers slower data transfer.

Nintendo patent could mean stick drift fix for Switch 2
Nintendo has filed a patent for a new form of ‘smart fluid’ joysticks, suggesting that it might be looking to address stick drift in the Switch 2.
As noted in the patent application, which was seen by VGC, this proposed joystick would contain ‘magnetorheological fluid’ (MRF), which changes its thickness when exposed to a magnetic field.
The idea seems to be that when a player pushes the joystick, the fluid will provide resistance, and ultimately return it to its neutral position. According to the patent, that return to neutral would be “made faster in the controller using the MRF.”
This would seem to indicate that Nintendo is looking at ways to correct the Switch console’s infamous stick drift issue for the Switch 2. With no mechanical parts in these crucial areas, it should be resistant to developing the same level of inaccuracies over time.
Intriguingly, the patent also mentions that “it is possible to achieve both presentation of a feeling to the user by the operation element, and an operation of the operation element returning to the initial position.”
It’s unclear what this means, but the most interesting interpretation is there might be some kind of developer-stipulated force feedback effect in place. Think the PlayStation 5’s adaptive triggers, but for the analogue sticks.
Of course, there’s no guarantee that this new joystick system will make its way into the Switch 2. With industry rumours placing a launch for the follow-up console somewhere around this time next year, you’d have to think that the console’s design is already fully mapped out and largely locked in ahead of mass production.
Nor is it certain that this patent will even turn into an actual product. Most patent applications like this do not.

Stunning Double Rainbow Lights Up New York City Skyline on 9/11 (VIDEO) | The Gateway Pundit
A stunning double rainbow lit up the New York City skyline on Monday – 22 years after nearly 3,000 people died in terror attacks.
Nearly 3,000 Americans died on September 11, 2001. The world changed that day. Time stood still.
Everyone remembers where they were when the Twin Towers came down.
The US government used the terror attacks to usher in the Patriot Act – which is now being used for warrantless spying.
22 years later we now have a president who purposely stayed thousands of miles away from the attack sites on 9/11.
Joe Biden is a disgrace to this country. He opened his remarks in Alaska by talking about himself and cracking jokes.
Biden also lied about visiting Ground Zero the day after the 9/11 attacks.
“Ground Zero in New York — I remember standing there the next day and looking at the building. I felt like I was looking through the gates of hell,” Biden said.
This is a brazen lie.
Joe Biden was in Washington DC for a Senate session on September 12, 2001.
The day ended on a good note.
After thunderstorms moved through New York, a beautiful double rainbow lit up the skyline.
Rest in peace to all those who perished on 9/11.

JUST IN: Ailing American Scientist Rescued from Cave in Turkey After Being Trapped For More Than a Week (VIDEO) | The Gateway Pundit
American scientist Mark Dickey was finally rescued from a cave in Turkey on Monday night after being trapped for more than a week.
Mark Dickey, 40, was trapped approximately 3,000 feet underground after suffering from gastrointestinal bleeding.
The rescue effort was described as one of the most complex cave rescues in the world with over 150 people involved. Rescue teams stabilized him, and gave him fluids and 4 liters of blood.
Rescuers from several different countries, using 70 rope systems navigated waterfalls and freezing temps as they pulled Mark Dickey out of the cave.
“I don’t know what to say. This is overwhelming,” Mark Dickey told the press after he was pulled out of the cave. He will be airlifted to the nearest hospital.
CBS News reported:
American explorer Mark Dickey was rescued from a cave in southern Turkey on Monday night, the Turkish Caving Federation said.
Dickey “was taken out of the last exit of the cave” a little past midnight local time, the federation wrote on social media. “Thus, the cave rescue part of the operation ended successfully. We congratulate all those who contributed!”
Dickey, 40, got stuck last weekend in a section of the cave system known serendipitously as “Camp Hope.” The speleologist, or cave expert, was hit with gastric pain that turned into bleeding and vomiting while helping to chart the cave system— the country’s third deepest and sixth longest— leaving him stuck more than 3,200 feet underground.

New Poll Finds Biden is Underwater by 38 Points With Independent Voters | The Gateway Pundit
A new poll has found that Joe Biden has a serious problem with independent voters.
Political media likes to focus on the left and the right, but it is often Independent voters who decide elections and they are not fond of Joe Biden.
Breitbart News reported:
Poll: Biden’s Approval Rating 38 Points Underwater with Independents
President Joe Biden has an approval rating of 40 percent while 60 percent of Americans are unhappy with his performance as president, including almost 70 percent of independents, according to a CBS News/YouGov poll published Sunday.
Biden’s approval rating is on par with an Economist/YouGov poll released last week, which showed that 38 percent of Americans gave him positive marks regarding his performance versus 55 percent who disapproved. In that poll, six percent were undecided, while no such population is included in the latest YouGov survey.
Looking deeper, 79 percent of Democrats surveyed approve of Biden in the latest poll, while 92 percent of Republicans and 69 percent of independents disapprove. Exactly half of independents “strongly disapprove” of the president, while 19 percent “somewhat disapprove,” and only 31 percent approve of his performance to varying degrees. In other words, Biden has an abysmal net -38 approval rating among independents.
Democrats have been trying to ignore Biden’s poll numbers but they know this is a problem.
The Hill reports:
Democrats express frustration with Biden’s moribund poll numbers
Senate Democrats say President Biden’s moribund poll numbers are “concerning” and “frustrating,” but they are doubtful any messaging shift by the White House will change how voters view him before the 2024 election.
They acknowledge the 80-year-old president’s biggest problem is his age, which negatively influences how many voters view his presidency and contributes to a lack of enthusiasm for his 2024 reelection campaign.
“You got to be concerned about those poll numbers, you just do,” Sen. Jon Tester (D-Mont.) said. “There’s plenty of time to get them back up. Whether he can or not, I just don’t know but you got to be concerned.”
One Democratic senator who requested anonymity said voters at home expressed deep apathy about Biden’s prospective reelection during constituent meetings over the August recess.
Biden deserves his horrible poll numbers and there’s not much he can do to change them between now and the election.

AOC Shares Video Claiming Inflation is ‘Propaganda’ and Now Some of Her Constituents Are Questioning Her Sanity | The Gateway Pundit
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez recently shared a video with her followers on Instagram that disputes the crippling inflation Americans are struggling with and suggesting it’s just propaganda.
AOC and others on the far left can’t admit that inflation is a real problem because that would be admitting a failure of Joe Biden and the Democrats.
In AOC’s district, where many people are struggling just like other Americans all over the country, some are starting to question her sanity.
The New York Post reported:
AOC’s constituents slam her claim inflation is propaganda: ‘Is she crazy?’
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez might want her followers to believe inflation is “propaganda” — but her constituents aren’t buying it.
The firebrand Democratic congresswoman used her Instagram stories to share a video from New Zealand’s left-wing Aotearoa Liberation League in which an activist claimed the “propaganda” surrounding inflation was designed to protect “greedy shareholders,” who are truly to blame for the rising cost of living.
But when The Post visited Ocasio-Cortez’s constituents in the 14th district, which comprises areas in both Queens and in the southeastern part of the Bronx, all of them reported economic pain and many said the Biden administration should not be left off the hook…
Latisha Law, 41, a certified nursing assistant, single mother of three, and grandmother, paused outside Key Food in the Castle Hill area of the Bronx to say she was struggling financially since the pandemic.
Inflation is real — and the fault lies as much with the government as big corporations, Law told The Post.
“Is AOC crazy?” Law said. “Has she been to a grocery store recently? $1,000 ain’t nothing no more. $100 ain’t nothing no more. Maybe she should spend some time in the projects and really help people.”
A majority of Americans see inflation as a major problem.

— Steve Hanke (@steve_hanke) September 11, 2023
None of this is going to change until the Democrats are out of power.
That’s why AOC has to believe it’s just propaganda.

Aaron Rodgers Suffers Ankle Injury Less Than 5 Minutes Into Jets Debut – OUT FOR GAME (VIDEO) | The Gateway Pundit
Aaron Rodgers suffered an ankle injury 5 minutes into his debut with the New York Jets on Monday night.
Rodgers was traded from the Green Bay Packers to the Jets in April 2023.
In a display of patriotism on the 22nd anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, Rodgers took the field holding a giant American flag.

Yahoo Sports reported:
Less than five minutes into Aaron Rodgers’ first game with the New York Jets on Monday, before he even threw for a completion, he left the game with an injury. The cart had to come get him from the medical tent and take him back to the locker room.
The Jets just can’t have nice things.
In the first quarter of his much-anticipated debut with the Jets, Rodgers was sacked by Leonard Floyd. It didn’t look like a bad hit or an obvious injury. But Rodgers looked at the sideline and then took a seat on the MetLife Stadium turf, signaling he was injured. He was helped off by the training staff and went to the medical tent. The Jets said Rodgers had an ankle injury and his return was questionable. During the second quarter, Rodgers was ruled out and the Jets added that X-rays were negative.
Rodgers had officially thrown just one pass, which was an incompletion that he threw away when he was under pressure. He played four snaps before leaving the game.

Rachel Maddow Exposes Putin Pal Elon Musk
Rachel Maddow put the pieces together and showed that Elon Musk is working against the United States and trying to help Putin and Russia.
Maddow said:
It is important that this one middle-aged red-pilled right-wing billionaire has taken one of the world’s major social networks and turned it into a fire hose of totally toxic anti-semitic and pro-nazi content. Now, publicly blaming the Jews for the financial woes of his company while personally using his power and his public profile to boost and validate literally self-declared anti-semites and white nationalists who are now the loudest influences on that network. That’s an important thing in the world.
It also seems important that the U.S. Space program decided to make itself dependent on this same one guy for much of its important ongoing work. As space becomes more and more and more important to American national security. But given the role of Russia in the world today, given who they are and how they’re conducting themselves these days, given the place Russia has in — given the place of Russia in relation to America’s place in the world today, how is it possible that it is the Russian government that is reportedly advising this one American private citizen, advising him about turning on and turning off the single most crucial supply line for the military in the country Russia is fighting?
The country that Russia has invaded, the country that Russia has invaded that is our ally. This is an American citizen reportedly taking advice from the Russian government about how to make sure America’s ally loses this war against Russia. How is this happening? And how is it possible that the United States government is basically just a bystander here?
Video of Maddow:
Rachel Maddow asked the key question. Why hasn’t the US government done anything about Musk? Why hasn’t the United States and its allies done anything about Musk? Elon Musk is rich but not wealthier than the United States and the NATO countries, just to name one example.
If Musk is being advised by the Russians on the war in Ukraine, and Ukraine is depending on technology supplied by Musk for communications, then the democracies of the world that are supporting Ukraine have a big problem.
Elon Musk is a US citizen who is giving aid and comfort to any enemy of the United States.
Rachel Maddow has given the problem a big platform, so now it is time for the American people to demand action.
