An Open Letter to American Airlines
Pardon me, faithful blog readers, while I rant a bit.
Dear American Airlines:
I think I have only flown on American one other trip in my life, and that was more than 20 years ago. American doesn’t come into my nearest city’s airport. But when I booked a trip to visit family in Texas through Alaska Air, my connecting flights were with American (two legs) because of your partnership with them.
My flights to Portland (layover of 90 minutes) and then to Dallas (layover of more than three hours) went...

Eight of my ebooks are just $2.99 each!
I was doing some sprucing up on my web site recently, including adding some information to my book pages. That’s when I counted up my titles that are priced at $2.99 as ebooks. There are eight of them.
I’ve been especially delighted by the response to A Wish & a Prayer which released a little more than a month ago. It’s a whimsical historical romance and a cat is involved.
The Victory Club is a favorite novel for many of my readers, so if you haven’t read it, you might want to grab a copy at t...

February Wrap Up
If February is over, spring is definitely on it’s way. Oh joy! Oh joy! In fact, here in southwest Idaho we’ve been teased with spring like temperatures. I’ve been going out to the mailbox without a jacket or sweater and wearing flip-flops. I wouldn’t want to stay out there for an hour like that, but I haven’t frozen either.
Books:
My reading fell off a lot this month, as I knew it was bound to. I completed four books: 2 novels, 1 novella, and 1 Christian Living.
One of those novels was A Fall of...

Revealing a New Book Cover
I am so excited to finally get to reveal the cover of my November 2014 release, Love Without End. This is the first book in the Kings Meadow Romance series. (If Kings Meadow sounds familiar to you, it’s because it is the setting of my recent women’s fiction release, A Promise Kept.)
I am busy right now, working on the revisions of Love Without End. Then it will be back to writing the second book in the series.
Anyway, I hope you love the cover as much as I do.

To Read (Reviews) or Not to Read
Novelists write stories because we want others to read them. There may be lots of additional reasons why we write, but I would venture to say this reason is on every author’s why-I-write list.
When I sent my first book out to the reading public in 1984, there was no Internet. Most offices didn’t even have computers. (Shocking to realize that wasn’t so very long ago!) There were very few periodicals or newspapers where books were reviewed, and mass market romances were seldom selected for those...

A Fall of Marigolds by Susan Meissner
Many years ago, I paid a visit to Ellis Island. An unforgettable experience, especially for someone like me whose ancestors immigrated to America generations ago. That visit led me to write the Coming to America series where each novel begins with part of the immigration process on Ellis Island. And I can never get enough of the history of this very American experience.
When I heard about award-winning novelist Susan Meissner’s new book, A Fall of Marigolds, I knew I was going to want to read...
