Dining Room Re-do Part 2
Things are going slow (very) on our dining room.
Whenever I have a spare moment (when is that?), I've been sanding, priming and painting.
I'm finally done with the wall and trim.
Even on a cloudy day-it's so much brighter in here now!

Sensational Sunday Love Links
Due to a sudden cold, rainy front that came through the area last night, our 'outdoor' barbecue with friends was quickly moved indoors. :(
Oh well, that's what we get for living in the great Midwest. We can never plan on the weather cooperating, so we just make the best out of it.

Crock Pot Calico Beans
It's shaping up to be a BEAUTIFUL day, here in our neck of the woods!!! It's a good thing too-because hubby and I are having some friends over tonight, for our first OUTDOOR barbecue!
I'll be cooking up several of our family favorites today-Perfect Potato Salad, Best Ever Brats, Delicious Deviled Eggs, and Crock Pot Calico Beans!

Tasty(and Healthy) Ground Turkey and Feta Pizza
Last year hubby and I started our own family tradition, by dedicating one night a week as pizza night. Since we both love pizza, and 'usually' get a long well in the kitchen, we figured it would be a fun opportunity to spend time together, as well as, create a tasty dinner that we'd both enjoy!

Proud Mama!
I'm so darn proud I'm about to burst! I hope you all don't mind, but today I'm going to use some of those 'bragging rights' we mama's and papa's get to share, and tell you about my 'little' girl's latest achievement!
After all her hard work, my daughter, Mel, completed her MBA last night. Her commencement will be in May, but our whole family is already celebrating!!!

Treasures on the Farm
Today I went out to my mom's farm to help her organize all the stuff she wants to sell at my rummage sale. It didn't take long for me to remember just who it is, that I inherited my love for collecting from!!!!

How to make a faux topiary
Update: I was able to get my computer to come back up by resetting the memory!!!! So here was the post I planned on getting out to you wonderful folks yesterday!!!
