Favorite Upcycling Treasures of the Week!

As you know- I love to find ways to re-purpose old and unused items.  There is something about giving a piece new life-that just gives me a happy heart.

Like most people- I'm always looking for inspiration on Pinterest.

Here are my top 5 of the week that have me so excited-I can hardly wait until the big flea market coming to our neck of the woods next week!

Sensational Sunday Love Links!

What a SENSATIONAL weekend we had!  Spending time with the kids yesterday at the goat farm was so much fun.  Later some more family stopped over, and we all enjoyed plenty of laughs and good food!

I've always been a neutral color- kind of gal.  To be honest, when it came to decorating my home-the thought of using bright colors frightened the heck out of me.  I figured it was safer to stick with the tried and true colors-like taupe-beige-muted greens and blues.  Safe.  I like safe-but what I don't like is boring.
