Great Is Thy Faithfulness
I hope you’re enjoying a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend! Today, it felt fitting to post the words of a beautiful hymn, as a corporate prayer of gratitude.
Thomas O. Chisholm wrote the poem Great Is Thy Faithfulness in 1923. He then it to William Runyan, who set the words to music. The hymn was published that same year. “Great is thy faithfulness” is a reference to Lamentations 3:22-23 which reads,

(My final historical romance for the general market, published in 2001, was SUPPOSED to have been the first in a series. Then I had a baby, burned out on writing, and retired.) I'm thrilled that Bethany House has given me the chance to write connected books about the Porter Family. Those Texans have captured my heart!
