Hi Katie, I think life inspires me. I see and hear things all the time that make me go, "What a great story!"

I also love words. I find truth when I'm writing or reading. It's cool to write a line for a character and suddenly realize there's a truth in it!

I'm inspired by other good books or a good movie. I've been inspired by TV shows like Gilmore Girls or Numb3rs. What do they have in common you ask? Community. So I think I try to bring that in each of my stories too.

When God Becomes Real by Brian Johnson
"Once I began reading I couldn’t stop. Brian Johnson writes his story with a raw vulnerability, describing the darkness of anxiety and brokenness with clarity. I love the thread of hope woven throughout the pages of this book. "
