During her childhood in California, Becky frequently produced homemade plays starring her sisters, friends, and cousins. These plays almost always featured a heroine, a prince, and a love story with a happy ending. She's been a fan of all things romantic ever since.

Becky and her husband lived overseas in the Caribbean and Australia before settling in Dallas, Texas. It was during her years abroad that Becky's passion for reading turned into a passion for writing. She published three historical romances with Avon Books, then put her career on hold for several years to care for her three kids, then recently returned to writing sheerly for the love of it. She felt led to move to the genre of contemporary Christian romance and couldn’t be more t

Hi, Haley!
My next book will be Bradford Sisters novel #2 and it will be about Willow and Corbin. It's been fun to bring one character (Corbin) from my Porter Family series into my new series! I expect Willow and Corbin's story to release in May of 2018.

Thanks for contacting me here on goodreads, Maria! I'm so pleased to hear that you enjoyed Undeniably Yours.

The answer to your question is yes! Bo's brother, Jake Porter, will be receiving his own book. In fact, I've already written it and it currently in the the revision stage. Jake's book will be titled A Love Like Ours and it will begin releasing in April. Fyi, this fall I'll begin Dru Porter's book. By the time I'm done, I'll have written four books in the Porter Family series about all four of the Porter siblings. Warmly, Becky(less)

Other than how to make a great quinoa salad, here's what pinterest has taught me so far:

#1: Inspiration is good.
It's fun and free to collect ideas. It's lovely to observe new things, to ponder, to nudge ourselves out of our rut.
#2. Comparison is bad.
Pinterest isn't shy about reminding me that there are a lot of women in the world who have better taste than I do. Who seem to be better mothers... Read more of this blog post »

Becky Thank you so much, Holli. You've made my day!

I've been wanting to write a series for years and years. (My final historical romance for the general market, published in 2001, was SUPPOSED to have been the first in a series. Then I had a baby, burned out on writing, and retired.) I'm thrilled that Bethany House has given me the chance to write connected books about the Porter Family. Those Texans have captured my heart!

Warmly, Becky

Holli I own both of your books, Becky. Love, love, LOVE them both! I am emphatically ecstatic that Undeniably Yours is a first in a series. Can't wait to see updates on your next novel! Blessings! --- Holli :)

You are welcome, Becky. I'm touched by the way you captured the ups and downs, the movement and setbacks involved in the process of healing. I think if we're honest, we can all pinpoint a moment in our life when we needed others to help walk us back from a hurt so deep we lost our way; at least I know I've experienced this. It's a gift from God, really, who uses just the right people to tenderly draw us back to ourselves and Him. Job well done!

Becky Oh, Susan! You've brought a huge smile to my face. I'm so honored and delighted to hear that you enjoyed it. With My Stubborn Heart, God gave me a second chance at a writing career I'd abandoned more than ten years ago, so the book is very near and dear to me.

"A longing fulfilled is sweet to the soul." - Proverbs 13:19a

Thanks for taking the time to write me a note of encouragement!

Susan Ms. Wade,

Let me tell you how much I enjoyed reading My Stubborn Heart ... I love it. I plan to read it through a second time (to make sure I've processed it all) before the Litfuse blog tour begins in May. What a heartfelt read. Thank you.
